He was almost too predictable sometimes. He hated being close and yet he tried to exploit her blindspot as though she had no reaction time. Her elbow would meet his knee unless he waited for her blow to contact his. Otherwise they'd cancel each other out. Either way she let him go. If he was that desperate for space...

Since he jumped though, he'd find himself about to land on ice from a bit of spilt water. Since he was trying to catch her off guard, she'd make it more difficult for him to move about. As far as those ki blasts of energy, they would meet nothing but a wall of ice, kicking up instantly to protect her, much thicker than the original veil since it was focused on one spot and not all over.

A thin shard of ice that broke off on impact of the ki found itself locked on him like a magnet and was racing to neutralize its charge, straight between his eyes. He wasn't the only one with projectiles afterall.

::Unks landed on the ice and kept his balance. He smiled as he lifted up his feet to show that his boots had a layer of ice on them. while in the air he used his elemental glove of ice and focused the energy on his feet.

He moved off the ice Red had on the floor and got rid of the ice on his feet. He didn't want her to use her powers to bind their ice together. He then looked at the ice shard coming at his face and caught it with ease and broke it in his hand.

He made sure there was no more of that shard left and kept his distance from the ice and made sure to look around the arena for more ice making sure there wasn't any. He walked closer to her slowly building up his energy::

Despite how sly he tried to be, he overlooked something that she had become very good at doing recently, and that was drawing moisture out of the air. A percentage of air was nothing but water vapor which usually didn't condense until a certain temperature or pressure setting was reached without a nucleus. She however was able to condense all vapor molecules together at any temperature she desired.

So while he was taking his sweet time appraoching her, he'd be unable to feel the frost or moisture on his boots since they protected his skin from sensation of the rapid process and before he could really react he'd be partially stuck to the ring due to frost which would bind his feet to the lightly frosty ring. The priority of course was the path he was taking towards her and he kept just enough supercooled water at her feet to be prepared for most anything.

For now she was satisfied with her performance defensively. Let's see how he'd enjoy her other trick. While he was building his power, she was staging her next move, taking everything into consideration rather than giving him the benefit of being underestimated.

::Unks smirked as he looked at his feet letting them be covered in her frost. She was smart and always one step ahead he noticed but so was he. He lifted his right in to the slightly open palmed facing upwards.

After a few seconds of holding his hand opened he closed it tightly as a large hand made of stone grabbed her entire body from behind leaving her head to still be seen. The stone hand was holding her tightly and it would take a lot to release it.

he knew that she had an advantage no matter what because of the mositure in the air, but there was nothing he could about that it was nature. He stopped moving due to her frost and then kicked his leg violently to free his leg, then he did the same with the other::

His feet would only continue to bond if he didn't keep moving, which he would likely notice the second or third time he had to kick them free. She on the other hand was melting from solid human flesh to water, which not only leaked free of the stone grasp, but moved in such a violent swirl that it completely eroded before his eyes before she took her resumed her stance where she stood. Stone would have no lasting effect on her.

As for him, he would soon feel himself caught by a similar fist, except the one that grabbed and sqeezed him was made of high pressure water. Moving through it would prove difficult due to the pressure so breaking free was out of the question one caught. She however out did him by producing a larger hand; one big enough to wrap around his entire form before it went charging straight for the wall near the armory.

((Sometimes you just want to smackabitch with a fireball. XD >.> Though I'm not involved in the current fight, my own personal opinion is that hand-to-hand fighting is over-rated. I can never visualize melee combat in my own mind, which is why if I have a melee combatant they are either ungodly fast (lawl, Tac) or have regen that puts Wolverine to shame.))

<~>Well the issue is that hand to hand is usually more creative and requires more skill from both the poster and reader. The poster has to ensure that everything is as clear as it can be so that the reader can respond accurately and the reader in turn has to be able to visualize. Lacking either skill makes melee difficult, but therein lies the challenge.

Fireballs are fun from time to time, but anyone can throw one of those. Likewise, projectiles usually offer much more reaction time so dodging them becomes increasinly easier, making both fighters look like amateurs or n00bs. That's likely our problem right now.<~>

If you have a decent opponent, it can be fun....Deity hates fights in which the opponents never get closer than twenty feet to eachother and just throw magical and supernatural attacks back and forth. Boringboring... Dx >>

((Pfft, couple hundred bullets suddenly teleporting all around in a random spread to come from all angles is much more amusing than impaling someone's knee.))
