::He let out a soft laugh and smiled knowing he and Unks still were close, well at heart anyway. He looked around at all the children and then back to Pith his smile never left his face. He stood up and picked his hat up and held onto it as he looked at her::

"That sounds great, but I think it should wait till tomorrow. I had a long journey and I am really beat. Is there someplace I can crash where there are no children?"

"Appearance is only one aspect of a person. That I've seen my fair share of strange things. Hell I've been my fair share of strange things as well. What that exactly means, you'll have to find out later. Till then, let me get you squared away."

This said she began to rapidly draw a series of runes in the air. Flaring into existence a swirling blue vortex of energy appeared out of thin air.

"Take a step through, I'll follow and show you where the rooms are. Its also kind of a away to show that I'm not as rude as I may have originally come across. One must not always expect to be interrogated when they are in a new place."

A faint sound echoed among the sleeping childred, likened not as the faint snoring of a resting child but the screams of fear of an elderly man. It wasn't fear exactly, but something had diffused the ecclesiastical man's end point, forcing him to reappear several dozen feet higher than anticipated. In the same manner that his body had remained incoporeal to protect against teleporting into something, his voice drifted as a ghost through walls and floors. With a slight poof he fell through the ceiling and down through a group of kids, finally stopping somewhere underground.

In the moments after he pulled himself back up through the ground he found himself staring at a small group of children awakened by his screams. A finger moved to his lips to indicate quiet, but his ghostly appearance struck fear in their hearts. A scream of true fear echoed through the space, waking every last child except for those few that slept like the dead. An orange pulse filled the room, spreading through the children and freezing them all in their place. Soft waves of emerald glittered through their midst, inducing a return to slumber as their bodies were fortified as if by a hearty and healthy meal. When a final pulse passed through the room the children seemed to dissolve as if being destroyed in the energy current. In truth the aged man was simply returning them to where he had stolen them from, pushing them back to their correct times and place. He could do nothing for their memories but make them seem an impossible dream.

When finally he was done the light faded to leave him in darkness, all illumination stolen from him. His coat billowed behind him, continuing to dance even as he fell to his knees and his head slumped forward. Silent streams of dust trickled from the corners of his mouth, single bursts coming as thin clouds every few moments, accompanying a hacking cough. He could feel every last child he had displaced, he knew the change he had enacted and the dangerous alterations to the timeline which could be made. Dangerous? How can feeding small children be dangerous? All Orion would be to them was a fanciful dream with funny old men and a series of stressed out women, along with a demon, but he wasn't important anyway. He'd added one sure day to the lives of hundreds, but whenever he tampered as he did he began to feel a gnawing sensation on his soul. His Lord on high was reminding him that the future is not always set in stone, and sometimes a life is taken for a reason. For all Tac knew, he had given that one more day to the child that needed it, only to grow up to become a man Hitler could admire. The death of children from starvation- was his Lord that cold?
