Just when Kasumi believed he was going to slam dunk his opponent to the realm of sleep, a pink haired woman appeared in less than a snap of a finger in between. She grabbed Kasumi's sword without so much a flinch and crushed it as if it was made of thin glass, as well as grabbed the foot of what turned out to actually be another clone of his opponent. Kasumi's heart dropped, like he had seen a ghost. But replace that image with the UZUKAGE, in the flesh. The... the Uzukage... His jaw was open in shock, and his big blue eyes were wide in fear of being in BIG TROUBLE.
She spoke sternly, but not so much with a sense of anger. Irregardless, Kasumi went from attack mode to scaredy cat mode. His knees shook slightly to her powerful presence. Kasumi had never felt so much chakra near him before. Before the blue-eyed boy could utter a word, the older academy student chimed in. He spoke about the incident that occurred before Kasumi came to be present. After hearing it, he felt a bit bad about attacking Nabuya. He was not aware of the other academy students bullying them two. It was hard to tell, since Nabuya was such a hot head from the beginning of this encounter.
In the instance that Kasumi was starting to sympathize with his ex-opponent, Nabuya pulled a bad move. With his sharp tongued tendency, he verbalized his opposition of the Uzukage's involvement with the fight. Without much break between Bread Boy's last shout, three tires flopped from the air and engulfed the student as if it were a game of quoits. Kasumi slapped his hands to his mouth to suppress laughter, in formality of Chie's prescence.
Chie started to leave, which allowed for Kasumi to catch his breath and shout at Nabuya half in hilarity and half angrily "You idiot!!! That is the Uzukage! She has more chakra than anyone in Uzushiogakure. She could send us into another dimension... or something! Could you be any more ridiculous?!" Kasumi wiped the beads of sweat that were accumulated on his forehead. We could have been totally toast there...TOAST?! UGH! I NEVER EVER want to see another piece of toast AGAIN! This is what has gotten all of in this situation.
Kasumi walked up to the tires and attempted at lifting them slowly, due to being significantly weak with lack of academy training in strength. "Lets get you out of here, Toaster."However, if Nabuya spoke ill about Kasumi or the Uzukage again, he would let the tired flap back down on top of him and give a hard kick at the stack.

Sumiko could feel her blood pressure rise as the new students spoke to Chie. She had half a mind to put them all in detention for the next decade. But all the blame couldn't be placed on them. After all, she hadn't been present to instill the fear of god in them. Instead, Sumiko waited for Chie to defuse the situation before trailing after her into the building. As she left the assembled genin, she turned her head, using her finger to give them all the stink eye while sticking her tongue out.
Once she was sure that Chie and herself were out of earshot of any of the other students Sumiko spoke. "Not much I can say to really defend myself as far as not being here to train the students. It's just, after the you-know-what, I needed some time." Her voice was soft now instead of her usually boisterous tone. She could barely even maintain eye contract with Chie as she stared down at the ground. "With that being said, I wasn't just taking a vacation away from the village. No one in my clan has heard from Sanae in quite some time, so I went looking for her. More specifically, I traveled to Lake Loka. None of the creatures there had seen her either. But there is a ray of hope at the end of it all." Sumiko reached into her back pack, pulling out a small scroll. She unravled the scroll a short way to reveal a seal. Sumiko placed her hand on the seal, activating it. As the seal glowed, an even larger scroll emerged from the first. This scroll was almost 3 feet tall by the time it was fully freed from the seal. "Ahem, may I present to you the Turtle Summoning Contract scroll and it's newest holder, yours truly. In San's absence, the turtles felt I was a suitable replacement." Sumiko would unroll the contract enough to reveal her own name, Sanae's name, and one final name: Kagami Hari.

The Academy was L-I-T today! First they got a little baby invasion and now it seemed his people, troublemakers, had moved in to fill the void! For so long he had been stuck with studious little bookworm nerds. Now, maybe it was time to have a bit of fun. Of course, he wouldn't give all of his inclinations away especially when the Kage was apparently not to keen on such...proclivities. When she ordered him to help whip these kids into shape Kenny just bobbed his head in acknowledgment. After Chie turned Nabuya into a Tire Burrito, Kenny walked over to help Kasumi free him from his entrapment "Gotta say" Kenny said between the exertion of attempting to stand the kid back up "You fella's sure seem to know how to have some fun" A dangerous yet playful smirk was upon Kenny's face. Perhaps this day wasn't gonna be as boring as he thought.

Chie looked away also when Sumiko gave her reason for being away. It was too much on her soul as well to know how that occurred. Chie promised herself, however, that she would not blame Sumiko no matter who she chose. It was an impossible choice, and the girl did her best. At the very least, at least everyone lived through the ordeal.
Chie turned to Sumiko when she revealed that she traversed to the Land of Turtles. That was a smart place to look for the missing Lady San. The Uzukage was not surprised that she did not find anything further in the Land of Turtles. When San wanted to disappear, no one could find her. Still, Chie felt as though she was still alive. She was somewhere over the rainbow. Her eyes widened when Sumiko dropped a scroll. She became sentimental as her hands gently touched the paper where San's name was. She smiled softly. Sanae Uzumaki was not anyone's idea of a leader. Yet she took the role of leadership for the sake of her people. In many ways, that's what made her a true leader. Someone who served not because she wanted to, but because she felt it was her duty to. At the very least, it was someone to admire.
Chie's peripheral vision caught something unfamiliar. There was a signature beyond Sumiko and Sanae. She gently moved the paper to get a better view. Her grip tightened when she saw the name written in blood. Kagami Hari; The Rogue Leader. There was so too many feelings of fury which surfaced within her upon seeing that name. Kagami had defiled the land of her mentor and taken her status upon the turtle summons. The evil which attacked her village manifested once again. Chie was going to end the life of Kagami Hari. She hated murder with every fiber of her being, but that one woman would hang by the very tails of chakra her demonic cloak manifest. However, the kage realized that she was losing herself to her wrath. Her eyes returned to Sumiko as she faked a smile.
"Excellent work Sumiko. As an academy teacher, it is imperative that you better yourself at every opportunity." She said with a grin. She then moved to head to a classroom. She needed to cool down. Before she left, however, she looked back at her former student. "In case you hear from Kagami Hari, do not be afraid to engage on sight. She is the three tailed demon host, as well as the head of Kogarashi. She is a formidable opponent well versed in water ninjutsu and genjutsu. Fight her as needed, but do not kill. I shall be the one who severs her head from her neck. It is my burden as the Kage who declared war on the rogue organization." She said with cruel intention. The woman who Sumiko knew as mentor was still there, but another persona was arising. The spirit of vengeance; a crude, selfish instinct, started to take hold within this one clone of Chie. It would be unknown if its seeds blossomed within the true entity herself. However, the only true way to purge evil, is to reach its level.

"What a shitshow." The words echoed through her head as she waited. Coda was, at best, impatient with the nonsense that always seemed to go down in the village. She wanted to train, research the history of the village and techniques. Instead she'd been barred from entering as some sort of situation was dealt with. There were whisperings of the Uzukage, which probably meant more trouble, but the woman couldn't have possibly cared less. That the fawning idiots around her couldn't reason out that there was no reality in which a modern kage would ever show up in person to solve a problem of severity less than existential didn't help Coda's mood.
That they considered it a good thing that one of the specters of destruction graced their presence in any form baffled her. No one questioned anything around here, even though there were more things to challenge than there was time to do so. Her tattoos seemed to ripple and shift even as she was allowed to progress towards the library. Quite the inauspicious start to her day of work, no doubt she'd be toeing the line and running mission soon. Hardly ideal, but she'd be doing stuff at least semi-productive towards the interests of the actual people in the village. She owed the person who got her hear at least that much dedication to working within the rules, after all the breaking they'd done and all the breaking they'd asked her to avoid.
The librarian was always grumbling about something or another. Today it was that they always fixed the damage the students caused but never the general wear and tear. All of these scrolls and no upkeep outside of her. An equally grouchy Coda simply held out a hand into which a little oil can was shoved. [ Maintenance 1/4 ]
Really? All that complaining and all she could come up with for a willing helper was oiling the hinges on the doors. Like, Coda got it. It was annoying and distracting for stuff like that to happen. But to be that angry? It boggled the mind a little. [ Maintenance 2/4 ]
At least there was a mission and some credit to be obtained from the menial labor, a promise of advancement at some point. It occurred to Coda as she squeeze oil into one of the doors that the absence of that might explain why exactly the librarian was so incensed. What must it be like to be here and not be in the jackboots of a shinobi. [ Maintenance 3/4 ]
The thought continued to roll around in Coda's head as she finished her work. Obviously lost in though, she turned her can of oil back in, doors obviously relieved of their squeaks. Perhaps there was more to be considered about the people of the village than she gave them a chance to be in her head. [ Maintenance 4/4 ]
Study was Coda's reason for showing up at all, and she'd be damned if her inability to turn down assisting the normies of the village was going to distract from that. Body Flicker had been one of the first things on her list, and now there was no instructor holding her back. Plus, theoretically she'd just needed an explanation of the principals. Shadow Clones stepped up Coda's game a bit. Perhaps a little out of the realm of her chakra pool at the moment for efficient use, but a baseline level of utility was important if she was to be rounding out her roster of custom techniques with s**t other people came up with. For now Coda would stop at one more technique, and she couldn't help but going flashy. A big ole flaming tornado would fit that bill. Not the most powerful of techniques, but it'd get the job done. Most people tended to freak out a bit when you threw fire at them, even shinobi. Plus, if she wanted to do any real damage she could always lean back on her Yoton at the end of the day. "I understand. If I learn anything else about Kagami from the summons or if I hear anything, I will report it straight to you. If I can ask one thing, keep what I told you to a trusted inner circle. I had a lot of time to think while I was traveling and I came to one conclusion. We were betrayed from the inside. That attack was far too coordinated. Far too effective. They knew how, where, and when to hit us. The infiltration could reach even into HELIX and VORTEX." The news likely sounded grave and did little to improve Chie's move, but it was likely the truth. The enemy had somehow overcome their defenses in a matter of minutes and attacked every part of the village, something that would not have been possible without agents already in place. "I also think they may have units still hidden within the village for secondary attacks. With this in mind, I'm going to stay here and protect the academy building. The Academy was also attacked during the battle, meaning one of them made it past the other teachers. This likely means even one of my fellow teachers could be working with the enemy."

Koutetsu entered the academy, the crate resting in his arms. Although he moved swiftly through the crowds of students and staff going about their business, it felt as though each foot was weighed down by anchors. His heart thundered in his chest as he slowed his pace down. Koutetsu looked around as he passed by the classrooms. Finding Sumiko's home room, he looked inside but didn't see anybody. Hmm. I wonder if they're training outside. He followed the hallways towards one of the nearest exits.
He slipped around a corner and came to a dead stop. Gazing over the crate in his arms, Koutetsu could see Sumiko, She seemed to be speaking to someone who had just slipped into another classroom. Sumiko's red hair shined under the illumination provided by the lights. A small smile, unbidden, graced his face. Though they hadn't spoken since the attack on the village, Koutetsu couldn't help but feel like he had seen her sooner than that. A voice seemed to chuckle slightly in his head, "Kou-san." Koutetsu shook his head and called out to Sumiko, "Sumiko, I've brought weapons to distribute to the academy students for training purposes." He took a deep breath as the words that he wanted to say next caught in his throat. Once he was sure he had her attention, he couldn't bring himself to say it, "I...How have you been?"

Coda dipped from the library and let her curiosity get the better of her for a moment. Wandering over to where she'd been barred from passing through earlier. Her gaze settled on the person that most of the people seemed to be staring at. Chie. "Aye! The librarian seems kinda mad at y'all, for noise I guess. Didn't seem like she'd actually come out here and say it though." It was obvious that she had no clue who the hell she was talking to. Though, honestly, it might not have made a difference. She was sure they had no idea who she was, or cared for that matter. Hell, they probably didn't even care that the librarian was upset at all, but, well, someone had to tell them. How was some normal a** lady going to justifying actually lodging a complaint with anyone in the academy or the village's leadership? At least Coda could take the proverbial punishment in this case. Though, she had forgotten to put on Sumika's headband, and had none of her own, so it was entirely possible she'd get a bit more than she bargained for out of sticking her neck out for someone further down the pile than her.
Traitors? Inside of Uzushiogakure? Chie shuddered at the thought. However, she couldn't ignore the possibility. Has she become so isolated that she now had her own people to worry about? Nevertheless, she had a face to maintain. She nodded to Sumiko and disappeared. She purposefully avoided Koutetsu. She wasn't ready for that confrontation yet. Instead, the woman moved to the top of the academy and looked down. She waited to see the children outside in action. The hospital boy was to train them, and she was interested to watch it. So, as she sat down with her legs dangling over the edge, she waited to see what came next.

Appearance/Apparel:
The first image below (spoiler) reflects her physical appearance as well as her typical apparel. She wears stylish glasses over basic make up with a thin white shirt that is waaaay toooo soft, comfortable, and snug to look this thin. Her shirt is not lengthy yet drapes enough to make it a mystery if she is wearing anything underneath. However, when her shirt slightly lifts from time to time it reveals a garter set that conceals a good amount of skin but is still quite suggestive. She typically always sports a choker that she pairs with a leash for special occasions. Lastly, a pair of stylish heels that work well with her setup, since she is not very combative for a serial killer. Her outfits usually come in a variation of colors such as white, gray, and black, but time from time she may coordinate the colors differently to avoid being too predictable and plain. Shackles are laced around the ankles with chain bonds which are just for entertainment. She has 3 separate markings with two being depicted in the first image containing a tattoo riding under the collar bone and in her cleavage. The second image contains a tattoo similar to the Dharma Power Seal, but unlike the picture this marking is located on the lower back rather than the upper back instead of what is depicted in the image.

The stars were aligned; Aya watched as the Kage's presence shifted to the roof. Her Sakkakugan had a weird name, but more importantly it was activated. Aya would vanish and reappear above the academy. "Kage!" She was direct and quite serious calling out to Chie from a distance across the academy roof. "I am Aya and it is a must that I am promoted to something of Chuunin or higher..." A bold statement for someone who had never interacted with the Kage, but that did not mean a thing to her. Often Aya did not find herself star struck, but she did provide mutual respect. A quick bow before resuming her poise and locking eyes. It wouldn't take long for Reiji to find his way back to the Academy. The journey to and from his home was the easiest one for him to follow; however, with him heading from the kage's office he would have to think of the placement of the Academy before moving. Sooner, rather than later, young Reiji would find himself at the doors of the building.
He wandered about, just looking the place over since his last visit as a Academy Student, now being a Genin, until he found Sumiko. He took note that she seemed to be handling things so he would not press to bother her. He did his best to wait around, but he did get into her gaze and make a motion that he'd like to speak when she was free. After believing himself to be acknowledged, the young boy would take a seat and wait.

Chie turned to the woman who had the brass balls to demand a promotion despite barely becoming a ninja. Cold eyes stared at the woman. Chie rolled her eyes as she looked back at the fight. "Denied." She said sternly. There was no room for compromise in her voice. "Uzushiogakure is at war. I will be expecting all of my chuunin and jonin to lead my armada against the Kogarashi threat. You have no reputation, nor recognition among your peers. Promoting you would be a pointless gesture at this point." Chie looked back at Aya as the wind blew around her hair. Her pink hair glistened like fire from the sun's light while it swirled until it settled down, and a smirk appeared on her face. "However, if you wish to become a chuunin, then get both. Make people know your name, and prove to me that you have what it takes to die for this village." She then looked back at the group she had interest in. "Complete some missions and make some friends. Do not ask me again until you have done that." She said with absent interest.

Mirai smiled at the Kage. Well, that wasn't so hard. She seemed pretty nice. Nonetheless, she followed Chie's orders and went inside to officially start her training. She was happy to have met a few other students and felt like she might actually have a place here.
After heading inside, she walked into the classroom and saw that the teacher was sitting at his desk, fumbling with paperwork and mumbling some nonsense to himself. "You must be Mirai", the teacher said. "I've heard about you."
Mirai, slightly nervous, smiled as she spoke. "Good things, I hope?" The teacher simply replied with a chuckle and a smirk. "The other students are still outside, so we won't have anything to do for a bit, but if you'd like, I could use some help cleaning up in here before everyone gets back inside. The teacher pointed to a broom and dust pan at the corner of the classroom. Mirai nodded. Not exactly what she came to the academy for, but I guess every new ninja has to put in time doing things like this, right? To build character or whatever.
