Arldhan knew now, pieces of the puzzle were definitely missing.
He kept a single hand pressed to his chest, as he lingered in the Shrine. The Blessing only made him feel more like he was going to pieces than ever before. His heart, ripped out, over and over again.
The idea that he deserved it rang out again.

She nearly cries when she returns otthe Shrine. She's full of grief and she's not quite sure why any more. The only thing she rememebers is her heart being torn out of her-- her existence was nearly stolen. She almost lost all the right to live. Zurie didn't want ot feel liek that again, she wanted to stay alive. Her fingers clutched helplessly at her chest. She was greatful that there was sitll some beating going on.
Hurriedly she walks up to the statues to receive her blessing. Almost immediately calming down as her heart grows and beats harder. She turned to leave, then looked back at the statues, and then continue to leave.

"How bittersweet." Neios arrived at the shrine with a wry smile. "I'm not exactly sure what you want Miss Goddess." But Neios made a pleasant show of recieving the blessing

Repoem fell to his knees before his goddess, head held low as he clutched his Heart-eye. He didn't move or say anything, lingering at her feet in supplication. It was taken from him. He let it be taken from him. snip, snip. His shoulders shook, growing still as he heard a strange sound. He realized the sound was coming from him. He wiped his tears and fled from the Shrine, ashamed of himself and what had happened.

Amir disliked gaining this blessing - the reminder of her heart being ripped from her chest was not welcomed. No, not welcomed at all.

She still seemed very shaken as she returned, bowing before the goddess statue and wasting no time in getting out of her way. Guilt and ruin. That was how she felt right then.
It was time to go.Quote: Link to task Completed: Journey PreyName of Character: Hekhis Link to Heart Log: Hurr

Carrying the memory of loosing her heart with her as she entered, Annabell did her best not to look upset over it or what had happened. No one had to know, no one but the goddesses. She curtsied at them and received her blessing, carrying that along the hurt in her bruised heart.

Shiohlu returned to the shrine, and the Goddesses, humbling prostrating himself before them. “I’m sorry,” he apologized, but it didn’t seem to matter, they weren’t angry. He had completed his task, and that was all that mattered. He hadn’t disappointed them, and that made him happy. Something inside him growled a little, and he realized he was suddenly also a little hungry. Something to chew on would be nice.

Carmus had done what was asked. Now, he was a step closer. Just a step.. closer. Perhaps, to what he wanted.

Rime came back, the pain in her chest still fresh as she received the blessing from the Goddess. As much as she wanted to forget the whole thing happened, it seemed as if she wouldn't be allowed to and soon left the shrine.

Returning to the shrine and accepting the blessing, Zealot did not feel much better for it. He still felt the pain in his chest. It mocked him - even as he became stronger... But it still felt off.
