Rosa ran and yelped when swatted by the head of the maids. She winced rubbing her head, receiving a scolding for being out so long and not doing her duties. She was not allowed to have dinner and was scheduled to do more chores in the morning to make up for those she had not completed when she had not come back in a timely manner.
What came to her mind was the name 'battleaxe' and felt that fit this woman who thought she was in full control of everyone just because she was pronounced as head of them. Laying down she curled up going to sleep but was dreaming about Tala and thinking about him, hoping he was alright and would be okay being here a bit longer. She wondered now how she too would get out or more training for her powers to face the Demon King, Sin, a man she dreaded facing but knew she could not run forever.

((temporary avatar change lol*)) Tala was collected from his room early the next morning by a new face, the man was smartly dressed and spoke very little. They would head down to breakfast - this time unaccompanied by Matron, then the gentleman led Tala to the throne room. His parents were otherwise distracted with important matters and therefore weren't there to oversee and deal with the daily 'rantings' of the public... That meant he had to sit through their queries and requests whilst his advisor negotiated with the locals.... Luckily, his newly appointed advisor took care of many of the visitors, but as a whole, it was a rather tiresome experience... Arthur Creed appeared to have quite the experience dealing with the villagers, but even his words seemed a little harsh sometimes. Resting his head on his fist, Tala watched the man perform his work, listening to the visitors as they pleaded for advice on how to deal with their problems before leaving no more assisted than they arrived... Eventually the stream turned into a trickle before the hall became empty. Still Tala had to remain seated, it was his role to 'guard the throne' and he would have to stay there until one of his parents came to take over the role...

Villa came into the throne room, curtsying and bowed her head some as she went over and began to clean the windows after it had quieted down. She glanced over at Tala some, seeing he looked bored. She wished to help him make this more enjoyable but knew it would be hard.
Looking over she noticed the new man, blinking as she found herself staring a bit at the new man, wondering who he was as she hadn't seen him before. She couldn't take her eyes off the man, taking in his face and style and how he handled himself.
Her cleaning got slower and as she tried to get the cloth re-wet she yelped as she missed the bucket and fell in up to her elbow for missing the bucket and losing her balance. Water had splashed about the floor some. She blushed some giving a small laugh out of some embarrassment in some ways. "hehehe oops" she said softly rubbing the back of her head, getting her hair wet in the process.
She stood up and dried her arms before starting to dry the floor, blushing some from her messing up after staring at Tala's adviser.

"You should really keep your eyes on your job." Arthur frowned, hearing the yelp before turning to face the girl, "I'm sure if Matron was around she would discipline you on your lack of attention." His voice was like velvet and no doubt matched his looks, but his attitude stunk... Tala's attention snapped from the spillage on the floor to his advisor, yes the man was harsh, but what riled him more was how he reacted to the incident... At least she was cleaning it up, rather than covering it with a plant pot like he'd seen some of the other maids doing... "There's a stain on the carpet over here as well. You might want to get onto that once you've cleaned up that water."Tala locked eyes with Rosa for a moment, stunned that the man would speak to her in such a way, but then as the man turned and muttered something about the 'servants' having no idea how important cleanliness was in such a building, the Prince realised how little Arthur thought of those beneath him... It had crossed his mind several times that day why he wasn't infact accompanied by Jack, but every time he tried to broach the subject, Arthur would cut him off or find something else to talk about... Eventually, King Trogan would come to take up his throne, relieving the male of his duties and leaving him to take a 'wander' around the gardens...

Villa looked down bowing her head. "Yes, sir, I will clean it up." She said softly keeping her head down and went over to the stain, starting to work on cleaning it up. She looked into Tala's eyes before looking back to her work, feeling a chill off his adviser.
When Tala was out Rosa kept track of him and moved carefully, taking furtalizer to go to the gardener to deliver it for the servant, wanting an excuse to get out and see Tala again to say good morning if she could. In the gardens Rosa or Villa as she was to be called looked around for Tala.
Upon seeing him she jumped when the gardener came out of she would call nowhere spooking her. "Hey! There it is. Thanks a many." he said grinning and took it from her having her help him dump it around some of the plants then grinned at her. "How's the flower coming along?" he asked. She blinked then smiled.
"Thank you, it is doing fine." she said softly and looked over as the gardener smiled waving to Tala.
"Good morning my Prince. How are you doing?" He asked grinning. Rosa watched and looked at him then smiled softly.
"Good morning....Prince...." Rosa said blushing and bowed her head slightly to be respectful. "How has...your day been?" She asked softly, trying not to blush in seeing how more handsome he looked in his new clothing. The gardener grinned moving over to Tala, nudging him some in the arm grinning.
"Hey, I think she likes you your highness. Best not let her get away, even if it means defying the royal law." he whispered grinning almost like a fool.

"Trying to say the least..." Tala muttered in reply to their questions, this advisor was beginning to get on his nerves, moreso following the moment Tala had stepped away from the gardener as the man nudged close... "Defying the Royal Law would be a great injustice against the family." Arthur 'bat-ears' Creed had heard the man's joking comment and appeared almost as though from nowhere behind the gardener. "I'd keep an eye on that girl, she seems to be everywhere..." he frowned, "Perhaps I should speak to Matron about her...""Just leave her alone." Tala uttered a low growl, glaring at the man who lifted his eyes before narrowing them. "You of all people should be aware that there are rules one must stick to. If this maid is seen within your presence, questions will be asked and with questions comes controversy. You cannot risk any more uproar, especially after your faux-pas barely a day ago."Tala didn't know whether to lunge at the man and beat him to within an inch of his life, or shout him down about how he'd been thrown into an environment that was far away from what he was used to - and the fact he'd been expected to sit and take commands like a trained animal... Seeing no way forward besides perhaps doing something he would regret, Tala clenched his fists, then turned and walked away. Arthur was hot on his heels, but as he drew level with the male, Tala did something that seemed to remove a little of his frustration... Extending his arms, the Prince shoved the man from the side of the walkway - those watching may just have laughed to see the lanky man's legs disappearing over the top of a hedge, followed by a loud splash as he sunk into one of the pools... Tala didn't stop walking however and soon disappeared inside the castle.

Rosa stared eyes widening, hoping he wouldn't tell the Matron about her. She held her tongue though when Tala spoke and looked down. The gardener looked at Arthur mocking him and snickered laughing as did Rosa as they heard the splash from his falling into the water.
She slowly stood brushing off her dress. "Don't listen to the big ol' bully. He's just some stuck up snob who wouldn't know what work was if it bit'em on the butt." He said grinning to her to comfort her, patting her back. "Now go on, get on back inside and do some glass work or something before ol' sour face, stuffy pants gets inside and puts a bad word for ya to the Matron."
Rosa nodded softly smiling gently, thanking him and hurried off into the castle, smiling softly as she went a little but tried to hide any enjoyment from her face not wanting to cause questions. She got back inside and began to work on the windows and walls, washing and drying them to make them spotless, hoping Arthur wouldn't report her to the Matron, not wanting to deal with that battleaxe anymore than she already has had to.

((sorry for delay, got writers block...)) sweatdrop Tala was running on autopilot as he made his way through the castle, eventually he would find himself in the training room, armed with his daggers and beating the heck out of a dummy-warrior. It swung and spun with each hit before he sheathed his weapons and took it on with his hands, punching and kicking before finding his frustration leaving him... Arthur had taken the time to dry himself off and change his clothes and now scoured the castle for his charge... None of the maids or servants had any idea (although some of them were clearly playing dumb) and some even sent him the wrong way, but eventually he located Matron who directed him towards the training room. By then, Tala had taken a break from beating up the battle material and now sat on a block to the side of the room, drinking some water. The gathered crowd that had been watching him train scattered when Arthur appeared, but they knew better than to cross the man and hastily vacated the area. Setting the water aside, Tala rose to his feet, ready to continue training before jamming on the brakes and narrowing his eyes as his eyes met those of the advisor. Arthur did not fume, scowl or rant... Instead he made his way across the room, stopping a few feet away before folding his arms. "I would think they're expecting you for dinner. Shall we go?" he held out an arm as though directing the Prince to lead the way. Tala gave a growl, but obliged, making his way down the corridor towards the great hall...

(it kk np -hugs-)
Rosa was in the dinning hall, setting the table after she finished the windows and walls. She had even swept up the hallways leading to the dinning room before getting the table set for the royals dinner time.
She looked around not seeing the Matron and sighed happy for that and as she finished she moved to one door, opening it and set it in place then the next she did the same, trying to hope that Arthur hadn't reported her.
When she would hear footsteps she hurried to get the final two doors set and got up what was out and put away, making sure the plates and silver was in the right places before moving to make a quick exit, afraid if Arthur saw her again he'd report her if he hadn't already.

When the man had said 'they're' expecting him, Tala had thought that perhaps there would be more than just himself and Arthur at the table, alas, there was nobody else in the room besides the occasional maid and of course the waiting staff who hurried to place the pair's meals before them before Mr Creed threatened them with dismissal... Tala watched as they pulled back the lids covering the food, then, being careful to recall how Jack had tried to teach him how to 'eat like a Royal' he started to tuck in...his eyes lifting occasionally towards his advisor who seemed not to have even picked up a fork... After a while of being watched, Tala set his cutlery down and pushed himself away from the table, glaring at the man who regarded him with a confused look. "I don't like people watching me eat." Tala growled, "Either start eating, or take your meal elsewhere."Arthur was stunned, then his eyes narrowed. There was a moment of silence, then the man reached for his fork, dropping his eyes to his meal as he picked up his knife and started to carve his meat. Realising the door was open, Tala calmly removed his plate from the table, helping himself to a handful of other items before slipping away. He was surprised when Arthur didn't stop him leaving, but as he walked out through the door he cast a glance behind and realised his advisor hadn't noticed. Shrugging, Tala walked down the corridor, his eyes scanning the rooms as he passed them before he came to a stop, taking a seat on a nearby windowsill before setting his plate down and continuing his meal - without the cutlery.

Rosa walked the hallway some, peeking out around a corner to look around and sighed. She leaned back against a wall, glad to be avoiding the Matron. She paused through in hearing something. Moving further down the hallway and looking around the corner she blinked and saw a form.
Staring she realized it was Tala, only Tala she knew would eat with his hands. Smiling she slowly moved, down the hall towards him. She paused through looking around, surprised to not see Arthur at his side.
Carefully she neared looking around, keeping an eye out for Arthur, knowing how quiet he could be now. Finally closer to Tala she smiled softly to him watching. "Hey, I'm surprised you got away from eagle eyes. How you manage to do it?" She asked giggling softly and gently folded her hands behind her in her maids uniform.
In catching the delicious aroma of the food her stomach growled and she placed a hand over her stomach, blushing. "sorry about that. Maids don't eat till after the royals and others in the ranks above maids eat." She said softly, keeping her tone hushed so not to draw Arthur or the Matron, not wanting to mess with either one.
"Mind if I keep you company? Don't worry, I'll scat if the battleaxe or eagle eyes shows up or stats to come." she whispered, snickering behind closed lips. "Wishing you weren't royal yet?" she asked softly, leaning back against the wall beside the window where Tala sat, looking at him in the soft light of the outdoors.
"I sort of miss being treated as royal but at the same time I have been enjoying this time not being recognized or treated as royalty though I will be making sure my own castle staff is happy and has regular meal times and not just when they are on break in between working and even to eat if I or another above them is at meal time." She whispered softly like a verbal note to herself.

Tala was intrigued that the maids and servants weren't allowed to eat before the royals had finished, but he remained silent and listened to her speak before pushing the plate towards the girl. "I figured you might be hungry..." he didn't know how much food servants were given and he had layered the plate up more than enough that he had eaten his fill whilst waiting for her to arrive. He hadn't enjoyed being 'Royal' there were so many restrictions and being a 'free-spirit' he didn't like to be restricted... But then again, at the back of his mind, there was something...perhaps being in power might be useful... "Do you know where Jack is?" Should Rosa choose to eat, Tala would keep watch so that she wouldn't be caught eating off a Royal's plate, "I haven't seen him since that incident with the Bandit..." Rosa might not have been able to distinguish the tiniest look of concern on his face for the old warrior, but it was there...

Rosa sat on the edge of the windowceil and began to eat, letting him keep watch this time. Hearing his question she silently shook her head sadly. "No, I'm afraid not. I wish I could say otherwise but I wasn't even allowed near his quarters so I have no idea where he's at. That's odd. I wonder why you haven't seen him. I thought he'd always at least show up once or twice a day to report to you."
Rosa said softly, feeling concern and picked up on the concern from Tala for the old warrior. "Do you want to go looking for him? Maybe he's in his room. I could check tonight if you want or if you think you can escape your watch bird. I think I can sneak away from the Matron." she said, keeping her voice soft as she ate, the food tasting so good. Swallowing she ate some more, her speed calm yet also a bit quick, not wanting to be caught and punished for eating off a royal's plate, let alone being seen again with Tala after being seen near him more than once by Arthur.
"If we can find Jack maybe he can find a place I can practice controlling my power. I have a bad feeling the Demon King isn't going to lay low for long. I have a bad feeling he's just biding for the right time to strike and I don't want you to lose your birth parents...even if your father does hate me for having powers." she said softly then finished off the food on the plate, wiping her mouth and sighed smiling. "Oh that was so good. Thank you very much." she said smiling happy to have a full belly.

"It won't be safe for us both to sneak away." Tala frowned, "People will start asking questions if they haven't already..." His eyes drifted down momentarily to the plate as it became clear - it was obvious they didn't feed the servants as much as they laid out for the King and his family... "Arthur sleeps in his own room, so I will search for Jack. You should rest whilst you can." He suddenly rose to his feet as he spotted his advisor making his way swiftly down the corridor towards them... "Here." Picking up the plate, Tala pushed it towards Rosa before narrowing his eyes, "I expect you know where this goes. Take it back." He glanced briefly towards the man before turning and walking away, leaving Rosa holding the empty plate. Arthur eyed her suspiciously, then turned his head as Tala disappeared down the corridor. "I think you heard his highness?" He raised an eyebrow at the girl before sweeping past her and pursuing the Prince as a reasonably quick walking pace...

Rosa listened nodding and quickly took the plate when gave to her. Seeing him leave she stood nodding when Arthur made his comment. "Yes sir." she said and darted off to take the empty plate to the kitchen so it could be washed up well. When around a corner down from him she sighed, not liking that adviser one bit but she had no say in who Tala's adviser was and wasn't.
She hoped Tala could find Jack, hoping Jack was alright as well. Taking a breath she sighed and moved onwards, taking the plate to the kitchen and began to wash it up along with the other dishes to return to the kitchen. She didn't like doing this but didn't complain, keeping her cover up well but wasn't sure how much longer she could keep it up. She felt a worry the adviser might learn who she was before the King and Queen then inform them. That was something she tried to keep her mind from thinking about happening.
When her chores were done she would move to her bed and lay down sighing starting to drift off after moving to get changed, her eyes closing as she removed her slip on shoes and fell into slumber on the bed.
