Fiery Tiamat The adept shown in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkGpOxo9yx8
Blue hair and presumably a water adept. I suppose Harmony might be Piers's offspring... But I was wondering if maybe Harmony may end up being one of those two kids who were running around in Lemuria. One of them said they'd be grown up in 20 or 30 years, or something like that. Ooooohh, good point. Besides, I'm thinking if Piers decided to have children, as slowly as Lemurians age, even if he had a son/daughter right after the events in TLA, his child wouldn't even be old enough to fight with the party in 30 years. If only there was some algebraic formula that I can use to calculate a Lemurian's age so I can further prove this point. Such as how a dog ages 7 years for every one human year. Or am I reading too much into this?

Well, if I recall, it's not that Lemurians are innately long-lived, it's just because they have unlimited access to the Draught, which drastically slows their aging process.
So, assuming Piers doesn't have access to the Draught any more but continues to age at a normal rate from where he left off (somewhere around 20, I'd guess) I'd say it's not out of the question for it to be a kid of his.

Hmm? I'm pretty sure someone in Lemuria said they stopped making the Draught around the time that Babi was there... I was under the impression that that Lemurians aged slowly because the lived in Lemuria.
I do think, in the outside world, Piers would age normally, and any children he might've had would as well.
EDIT: Official site updated again: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/bo5j/energy/index.html
No, they haven't revealed the silhouetted character yet. They've added pages for Djinn and Psynergy. The Psynergy page is the one I have provided the link for. Clicking on the icons for Growth, Douse, Fireball and Whirlwind will bring up two videos for each, one for their out of battle effects, and one for their in battle effects.
And really, Matthew being the one to use Fireball still... Doesn't Tyrell learn it at all?

Fiery Tiamat And really, Matthew being the one to use Fireball still... Doesn't Tyrell learn it at all? When you think about it...Didn't the Wise One say Isaac was imbued with the power of the Mars Star? Perhaps the effect of that trait would be his bloodline being able to wield some Mars Psynergy. And this is if we consider that utility Psynergy like Move, Lift, etc. aren't really aligned with a particular element.
I'll bet Tyrell still does learn it, though. He should, he's the pure Mars Adept after all!
Yeah, I think I also remember hearing that the production of the Draught ceased because of the actions of Babi, but I think the water from the fountain in Lemuria is considered the same thing. It's also said that time seems to run slow in Lemuria, but that might be just an illusion due to the slow aging.

I was under the impression that it was the power of the Golden Sun. But, since it was done through the Mars Star, I wouldn't say that's out of the question.

This game needs to come out already. Everybody's suggestions are really good and it's getting ridiculous.

^Only a couple more months to go before it's released in the US... About one month for the Japanese version though. smile
And yeah, I think that Matthew may have enough Mars influence in his life that it might allow him to have some of his own; his father received a portion of the Golden Sun which was channeled through the Mars Star, plus, let's face it, it's quite probable that his mother is a Mars Adept as well.

Debating is fun!
Also, I was just in Lemuria. Lemurians prepared the draught specifically for the purpose of leaving Lemuria; when they stopped leaving, they stopped making it. Babi stole the last of it before he fled the island. Drinking the water from their spring is what extends their life.

The Lemurian draught is also just the spring in a bottle... like Poland Springs...
Huh. Hermes' Water and Lemurian Spring... what is with Mercury and springs...

o_o Say hello to our second Mars Adept... EOLEO! Well, this puts the debate about his elemental alignment to rest at least! Also, introducing our new villains...http://www.dotup.org/uploda/www.dotup.org1174069.jpgQuote: Title: The story accelerates with two encounters! Meeting a new companion and the mysterious organization! Our 2nd Mars Adept in team is... *drumroll* Eoleo! The son of Briggs and Chaucha! He's the prince of the pirate kingdom Champa, and leader of the pirates. He's free, wild, and filled with a sense of justice. He leads the Champa pirates after his father, and joins Matthew & Co. in their journey. Screenshot 1 shows the 4 character in front roll are Matthew, Karis, Crown, and Eoleo. Screenshot 2 is Eoleo saying, "are you trying to make me indebted to you?" The enemy side... Military nation conducting secret maneuvers - Tsaparang. A mysterious country that excels in science and military power. For some reason, its commander contacts Matthew & Co. They appear in many places, and seem to be making use of Matthew & Co. Screenshot 1 is Spade saying, "I shouldn't belittle you. Now I have to finish you here." Screenshot 2 is Heart saying, "what a group of troublesome children..." Commanders of Tsaparang: Spade: A warlike swordsman with "sword" as his name that stands in front of Matthew & Co. Heart: A commander of Tsaparang. She gets close to important person of other countries using her bewitching beauty as her weapon. BTW, Tsaparang is the capital of the ancient Guge kingdom in Tibet. ...I wonder if this means that Takeru will be in it as well... No Proxian main character... crying
