Sapphire quickly lept onto the side of another building. She shot the webbing that was around Rhino after him. She tried to get them in front of him to form a web in front of the wall to try and stop him from smashing another building. "Hey, I thought we just went over this!" she called down. Staying out of his reach was good for her...but not for the buildings around them. She either needed to lead him somewhere with more space, or be on ground level so he wouldn't have to charge into buildings after her. Honestly she wasn't liking that option.








"Alright, catch you later then." Deadpool said as he hurried off down the street and around the corner. He took a quick look back and frowned. For some reason he had a gut feeling that Zero was going to follow him anyway. Either that or it was all the cheese puffs and girl scout cookies he ate earlier.
He moved towards an escape ladder and quickly made his way onto the roof to get a better view. He needed to think of a way to loose Zero and find....Batgirl? Yep, standing on the ledge of a building not too far off was Batgirl.
"Well that was easy." he said outloud. No he had to make sure he wasn't being followed. Last thing he wanted was someone else jumping in and taking a job from him.

"It's... nothing I can't handle..." She took a deep breath to calm herself "What do you need?" She asked in a lighter voice. She could handle this herself. She didn't need Batman to get involved. Out of the corner of her eye Batgirl detected something red. Deadpool? She thought to herself, not wanting to turn and let him know she saw him. She could ambush him if he got any closer.

Over the communicator, Batgirl could hear Batman say, "Batgirl, I need you to come to the Batcave immediately. We need to discuss what's going on with the world, it's... different. Batman out." Then, static, as Batman apparently cut the line off.

While Rhino charged at the wall, she took that brief opportunity to check back on the bar. To her surprise Batgirl was gone. It didn't look like anything had gone down, granade was still on the table. Hopefully something came up and she just left. She tried to focus on some spiders around the building to see if they could find her.
She heard Rhino say something and turned her attention back to him. Her vision came back just in time to see him hurl a large chunk of concrete at her. Not having much time, and the position she was in on the wall she sprang straight down to avoid it. The piece smashed into the wall, sending large chunks of it following after her. A chunk hit her shoulder as she landed on the ground, and she sprang away from the wall to avoid the rest. She glanced at her shoulder a moment, no real damage. Be a little sore later at the worst. Then she glanced back and realized that she had lept a bit too far away from the wall...out in the open...ground level...ah, crap.



Reaper chuckled a moment. "Don't worry. I have no use for souls. Blood and power suits me just fine." he replied, taking another sip of his drink. "The aura caused by fear and rage is a bit of a nice perk too."
For some reason the mention of cigars made him think of someone he absolutely despised in his old life. Unfortunately, killing them was out of the question, no matter how much he wanted too. He hated the smell of those bloody cigars he smoked. Well, that was his old life. No point in thinking about that here.
He glanced over at the vamp a moment. Minding his own business...fine by him. He turned his attention back to Joker. "Name's Reaper.".



Deadpool glanced back, didn't see anyone, then glanced back at Batgirl. No sign of Rhino. It didn't look like he'd seen her. Now, did he go with the stealthy approach, or did he just go with the direct approach while she looked busy? Either way, he wasn't going to get very far this far back.
He moved across the roof and climbed onto the roof of another building, a bit higher than the others. If he was on a roof top higher than her, he should have some slight advantage. Heck, he could even whip out his swords, leap from the roof screaming 'Banzai'. Since it wasn't Logan he was dealing with, he shouldn't have to worrie about what happened in that Wolverine vs Hulk cartoon. Now that was a pain.
Now that he thought about it...what happened to his little yellow boxes?



//I know, I forgot what he ate though. So I kinda figured cheese puffs were his thing, and I wanted to make a small reference to the cookie thing that's going on in the other forum. xp After some of the stuff I've seen of Deadpool (mostly his smart mouth), I think I might end up getting into him too. Thanks.//

He actually looked away. Well now that was a first. Any other time and she would have been playing tag the hard way, and this guy could easily run her over. Last time she had someone this big charge at her was Kinpin. Heh, heh. Something she did not want to have happen again.
Taking this opportunity, she lept back towards the building she had been on before, then lept back onto the wall. No sence in damaging another building if he was going to throw something at her again. She glanced back at the webbing she had in front of the building and forced it to wrap around him while he was distracted.



Reaper didn't quite understand the last part of the Joker's comment, but he decided not to think much of it. He wasn't from this universe, so who knows. "I've found I don't scare very many supers either. At least not by appearance. I haven't been in this universe long enough to see how supers here take me. Speaking of which, you wouldn't mind if I changed into something more comfortable? That girl hasn't arrived here yet so I think I could be out of disguise for a while." he said.



Deadpool finally made it to the edge of a building that was close enough to Batgirl that he could get the drop on her, but far enough that she shouldn't be able to see him. Still no sign of anyone else...oh, wait. Couldn't see it from down there, but way up here, he could see a nice little path of destruction. Rhino and that spider girl. Good, he was busy. This should be a piece of cake then.

She wasn't going to go back to the cave. At least not yet. He was the world's GREATEST dectective. What did he need her for? Batgirl knew Deadpool must had been close because he had moved from his previous spot on the ground. She hooked the communicator to her utility belt. Loud crashes from below caught Batgirl's attention for a spilt second then she noticed how close Deadpool was. She ducked behind an air vent sticking out of the roof. Two could play the stealth game.
