((Hey Jade, Cya Keno))
PostPosted: Sun May 06, 2007 6:59 pm

((Hey Unks, Pithpith. Bye Nii-chan!! *huggles* Figures, I some in just a touch too late.....oh well.))

The elevator door opened up with a soft hiss to the main floor of the club, letting out it's lone passenger. The young Saiya-jin woman stepped out, a pair of thick framed glasses sitting on the crown of her head, hidden slightly in the raven colored locks. She also had on a red buttoned down shirt, with the top few buttons left undone to expose a nice amount of skin. She wore a pair of tight fitting black pants, with a pair of chains attached in the front and crossing to the opposite leg behind her. Her brown tail swung gently behind her, as she made her way over to the bar counter, a large book and a note book in hand.

She turned slightly, looking up on the moniters. It seemed she had just miss a three person, free-for-all match between Keno, Unks and Epithany. Pity, but she wasn't in much of a sparring mood at the moment. So she just flipped open her book and notes, pulled out a purple ink pen, and began looking over Japanese Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.

Yet again, the Orinian Emperor finds himself at this dump. As offended as he seems by this planet, he certainly makes an effort to stop by more often than not. It's a little like watching a television program that exhibits human beings of a clearly much lower intelligence than the rest of their population for the sake of comedy. It's a lot like that, really. With a grunt to clear his throat, Wesley parts the doors before reaching them, stepping over the threshold.

His typical red coat is buttoned down to his waist, dull yet dark purple slacks hanging loosely over his polished leather shoes. Forearms folded behind his back, he takes a gander about his surroundings from under the brim of his fedora. Quiet night, but the room isn't filled with the boring stagnance that it seems to be made for. There was life here recently. Negativity, too. The thought alone brings a smile to the demon's face. Little is more entertaining than watching Earth people have a bad day.

Stifling a quiet laugh, he moves toward the far end of the bar to fetch a drink. As he does, he catches a familiar face with his eye. Jade. Or.. no, this is the other Jade. What's her face. Not too modest, this one. More than happy to let her breasts have a read of that book, too. Not minding whether or not she sees Tali having a look at her chest as he passes by, he continues on his way around behind the bar.

"Enjoying the view...?"

Her voice was soft and matter-of-fact, and she didn't even look up from her book, only pausing to reach up and lower the glasses from her crown to her nose as she peered at a smaller set of characters. It wasn't that her eyes were bad, just that glasses made it less complicated to read small characters. She whispered softly in japanese for a moment as she wrote something down on her paper.

She paused for a moment, casting a glance in Taliman's direction before looking back down with a slight smirk on her lips.

"Might I be so bold as to ask you for a second of what you are having?"

"Feel free."

That's all he says. Once he reaches his destination, he unfolds his arms and pulls the overhead cabinet open, taking out a single glass. He turns around and sets the cup upon the counter, a little to the girl's right. Shutting the cabinet with an abrupt bat of his palm, he slips his left hand under his coat and into one of his pockets. From it he takes a small golden flask, the cap of which he twists off and drops on the bartop. He then pours the glass full of vodka from the flask, just leaving it there instead of taking it up.

Rather, he then takes a pull from the flask itself. He turns to his right as he lowers his hand and reaches for his dropped cap, twisting it back onto the bottle; from this angle, his eye is out of view to the Saiya-jin, to her his face hidden by bloody locks of hair.

"Arigatoo gozaimasu...."

She reached out and lightly picked up the glass, and taking a light sip of the firey liquid. With a pleased sigh, she delicately licked her lips and put it back down on the bar top. Kirra was amused, seeing as how Jade was never one for alcohol, or to hold it well for that matter either. It was all in how one handled herself, even with one body, the two were completely different.

Kirra sat up straight and leaned back away from her book for a moment, sliding her glasses back onto the top of her head. She looked over at Taliman, and picked up her glass again for another sip. He really did have a lovely shade of red for a hair color...too bad Saiya-jins only had black, or blond when Super Saiya-jin.

"I thought you didn't like comeing down here....and yet this is the second time our paths have crossed."

"You've been keeping score."

The powerful lord speaks with a sly grin on his face as he slips his flask back into the pocket of his pants. His long tail waves boredly around between his coattails as he turns once more, lifting and folding his arms around his chest. He turns his head to see Kirra more directly, his one blue eye looking lazy and tired as usual. Tali again gives the young girl a lingering look up and down before he returns to her face. Even if he couldn't tell already, such attire doesn't feel like something his brother's woman would wear. She calls attention to herself, like a flame in a dark room. Interesting kid.

Conveniently sidestepping the woman's comment, he responds with a question.

"Why bother sticking around?"

Kirra smiled everso slightly, a touch of lipstick coating her glass as she lifted it again to her lips, licking them afterwards for a moment. She closed her book in front of her, and folded her arms just under her chest.

"Unfortunately, I myself don't have much say in the matter....but once in a while, something interesting comes up."

She smirked and took another sip before continuing.

"For example, Keno being given a death sentence yesterday by seven strangers...always something exciting comes up."

Sure it had only been two hours, but that nice little dip in the hot springs was just what he needed. Though his hair and skin were dry and his clothes were still the same he had worn from earlier, one could surmise that he had changed as he made his way back to the main room. What he saw brightened his evening a bit, while shooting down any glimmer of happiness at the same time. First the frame of Jade and along with her the figure of Tali.

This one was reading though, this Jade. Well she was reading. It seemed she had just stopped. She was a lot more revealing with her clothing. Not in the 'yeah I have breasts don't drool' sort of way but the, 'wanna take a look?' fashion. Only when her buttons were torn off in battle would so much skin be exposed.

Whatever. He didn't mind. The fact that there were so many signs discerning one from the other pleased him. He wasn't sure if he would join them or not. He certainly didn't have any interest or need for their company. Nor was he really up for anything short of motivational or thought provoking conversation.

Still though he should be polite.

"Evening Kirra. And you as well Taliman."

KenoTao? Death sentence? What's new? As unsurprising as that is, it doesn't help the kid's image much in Tali's mind, as if it were in good shape to start with. He's quite strong for a human, but it's a wonder he isn't dead yet. Not that any of his rivals are really impressive, but still.

"What did he do to piss them off?"

Wesley doesn't move from his spot, his voice calm, smooth and sarcastic. A lot tends to happen on this rusty old ball, but he doesn't see his brother in the thick of things anymore. He's getting lazy. If Team Kill Keno proves worthy enough, maybe that will change. The demon inwardly hopes so. It's best to scout his opponent before challenging him.

Speak of the devil. Well, the other devil. Keno makes his way in after.. whatever it is he does when he's not trying to get killed. Taliman doesn't take his eye away from Kirra, though, back partially to KenoTao. In fact, he responds with a twist of his hips, taking a seat on the bar counter.

Kirra opened her lips to explain further, but paused as Keno himself emerged from the hotsprings area of the hallway. She turned slightly, taking her green eyes off of Taliman, but keeping her body facing towards him as she smiled at the tiger.

"Konbanwa, Keno-san." She bowed her head slightly in greeting towards him, taking another sip from her glass. Then slowly, she slid from her stool and stood up, gathering her notes and her book on the japanese language.

"Unfortunately, as you arrive, I must head off. There are plans for tomorrow, for which this body needs it's rest...."

She tilted her head back and finished off the last of the vodka, and place the glass down on the counter. Then Kirra looked up at Tali sitting on the counter, and gave him a slight wink.

"Perhaps we could finish speaking, another time?"

WIth a small smirk, the young woman nodded to both the men, and started walking towards the elevator, a slight sway to her hips as her tail swung behind her. As the door opened, she turned and smiled at them both.

"Jaa, maate. Goodnight."

And then the doors closed, carrying her up to the top of the tower.

((And so, I must be to bed, for I have work tomorrow. Goodnight you two. >w< *leapspindives into her Lair*))

He nodded lightly back towards Kirra in greeting, only giving something of a gentle grunt to return her words. No sooner had they exchanged pleasantries than she was on her way out. That meant that the only people left down there were Keno and Tali.

Awkward.

There wasn't any real tension between the two. Keno personally would take Tali's back as quick as he would Fierce's. It was part of the reason he never chose to deter the feud between the two of them. Despite that though, they were certainly not on speaking terms exactly. However why not try to speak to him anyway? The worst that could happen is that Tali would take his leave and not say a word.

"Normally I would say something like 'So, Tali, what brings you here,' but seeing as I'm quite fond of little Ren I'd much rather tell you personally that you've raised a lovely daughter. You must be proud." He left the part about envying the man out as he approached the bar but took a seat about three spaces away.

Figures. Nodding ever so lightly to Kirra as she stands to her feet and says her goodbyes, he doesn't bother hiding that he's watching the back of her front until it leaves his view. Whatever he did to catch her, Tybron was smart for not throwing her back.

With the eye candy off the menu, the little overlord lets a sigh escape his nostrils as he drops his folded hands to his lap before turning around and twisting his torso in the opposite direction. He now faces Keno, his sapphire eye focused on the boy during the brief silence. Much different appearance than he had when they first met. Twisting his lips a bit in disinterest, he lifts his brows as though to let KenoTao know that he is indeed listening to what he has to say. In a sense, the tiger boy is talking about Wesley. That's worth listening to.

He replies with a wry smile.

"Fine, smart girl, she's turning out to be. A mite adventurous, but that isn't so bad. Much like her mother."

Well that simple gesture by Taliman was in itself more than Keno had expected. In fact, he really didn't have a follow up. Part of him snickered inside somewhere as he noticed how different circumstances may have led Deity's older brother to call on Kirra. He was almost sure he was making it up, but then again he wasn't too aware of it. Kirra was still Jade to him so there was nothing about her that would attract him.

It was the same with Satomi, who grew into motherhood as well as Tali had into fatherhood.

"They both complement you well. Seems that way to me anyway." He felt he may have said that before, and really didn't feel like repeating himself. Therefore, he decided to just call it a night.

"Rather than waste your time, I think I'll just take my leave. Until we meet again, stay in good health and tell my family I said hi." It occurred to him at that moment that Sato didn't know anything about what had happened yet. That was good. However, he had a feeling Tali would find out sooner or later since Kirra had brought it up. He was hoping to pretend he hadn't overheard, but his desire to keep Satomi and Ren out of picture overrode that.

"I foolishly exposed myself thinking there was no way others like me were being created. For that error, they have been ordered to exterminate me. Most of the people around here are ready to fight for my sake, though I think it mostly in vain. Although it's your choice, I implore you not to include Satomi among that number." He continued the rest of the way out, having already said his good bye. Tomorrow was supposed to be a busy one for him. He might as well rest.

Wesley keeps his words to himself. Like Keno, he doesn't have a prepared answer, though possibly not for the same reason. What Keno says doesn't exactly warrant a response involving more effort than the shrug he recieves from Tali. Even as he says goodbye and makes his departure, the demon doesn't bother to say anything back. Now, what KenoTao follows and concludes with, Tali would have responded to had he the timeframe.

He simply arches a brow as Keno speaks, warning him of the impending danger brought about by the seven deadly warriors sent to kick his hairstyle in. Apparent brutes, they threaten to take out all who try to protect Keno? Simple, then. As the boy wishes, Satomi and Ren will not be involved, if Taliman has anything to do with it. He has no reason to put his wife and child in danger to save someone's a**.

This indeed presents an oppurtunity to see everyone in action, however. If the whole neighbourhood decides to protect KenoTao, one can only assume that some may wish to defend Tybron as well. In order for Taliman to properly scout Tybron, he must know how best to off his friends.

Again clearing his throat, the lord slips from the counter and turns on his heel. He looks down to see that the very last drops of vodka left in Kirra's glass have collected into a little puddle at the bottom. He snatches the cup from the counter and tilts his head back to down the last bit of it. Licking the corner of his dark lips, he drops the glass in the sink and heads for the doors, which open upon his unheard command. On the way out, he rubs the lipstick from his bottom lip with his thumb. Sato would pitch a fit.
