Medeus Wantcookie Medeus ohmigod YES! I knew I was forgetting important ones! Nickelodean was the greatest! xd I still think Fairly OddParents can't be topped. IT literally was the greatest cartoon....ever. >_> I remember liking CN more than Nick back in the day, just because the cartoons had a tendency to better appeal to me. Like, PPG and Samurai Jack are still some of my favorite things. xd Fairly OddParents is definitely one of my favorites, though it's certainly suffered from your typical this-show's-been-running-for-too-many-years-now decay. There was a period where the show was the best thing ever, and then it started to go downhill somewhere. Holy s**t, I was wrong, Samurai Jack was the best thing ever!! @_@ lol I thought it never got old.....but yer right, now that I think about it, it never ended. xd I dunno, I guess Older CN was better than newer Nick, so maybe it depends on which part of the childhood you mean? lol Yeah, sounds about right. ...Wait, did you ever watch Megas XLR? xd

I just read an article about a 13-year-old girl who refused a heart transplant because she didn't want to get her hopes up for a surgery with no guarantee of success (and live under a rigorous medical regime for the rest of her life if she was lucky) and actually won. People on my FB are condescending her for choosing to die, saying that she's not 'competent' enough to make that decision for herself and that her parents and the courts should force this surgery on her because it's in her 'best interests'.
Wtf? It's her life. It's truly unfortunate that she has to make a decision like that at such a young age, but that doesn't mean that it's not her decision to make. I admire her courage and composure in the face of something no 13-year-old should have to go through, and am kind of appalled that such a simple freedom is under attack simply because of her age.
