Kinpoko finally reaches her destination, since the elevators doors open up when she reaches the ground floor. She steps out of the elevator, still intently reading the papers. There were a lot of them, since there was a lot about the origins of Halloween. About how it was a pagan holiday, about why treats were originally given out, and why it was even looked upon in a bad light.

She slowly strolls into the bar, to take a seat on a barstool, to finish her study.

((I might as well head out, since I'm going to be leaving soon anyways.))

Kinpoko sighs, and finally finishes the papers. Before she even got a chance to sit down, she makes her way back to the elevator, to go back to her room. As far as she could tell, no one was around, so she really had no reason to be out of her room. And with that, she presses the elevator to open, walking into the chamber, to go off to her room for the night, and probably study more holidays.

(( It looks like I didn't miss much.. ))

"Oh wait... is it alright for you to leave the amusement park..? I don't want you to get into any trouble or anything.. If you don't really want to go outside the park, it'd be fine with me.." Ikue put the comb back down onto the desk and pulled her favorite panda cap on.

(( Ouch, what a crappy post that was.. x_o; .. ninja -Has plans for Ikue, next month.- ))

( <.< I'll be bringing in Luic soon enough. Oh, and do I gotta' fill out some of those profiles for my characters? It's ever so devestating to read about characters and know all the information, but having your character find out things you already knew. @_@ )


Drake groaned somewhat as he sat up from the bed. ALl he remembered was that he started up the stairs with only two of his suitcases after talking to Mimi. That was it. "I must have been really tired then," he said to himself as he flung the covers back. His lightbrown gaze traveled down to his body as he noticed that he was still wearing the clothes from the previous day. With a slight roll of his eyes, he pulled one suitcase up onto the bed and began to change.

As soon as he had finished, Drake moved towards the door of his room. He opened it carefully and peeked out into the hally. Silence. Shadows. Two things that he didn't like combined. He slid out into the hall carefully, his eyes darting from side to the other side of the hall way. He didn't much like the fact that he was on the second floor, either.

((Heh. You think you have it rough... bloody North Americans and their being one day behind us.))

Bertram shook his head. "If you want to go outside the park, than we can. I should at least be there to protect you from werewolves or something..." he fingered something in his pockets.

(What a bad post...))

((Ich... I've been there. It's too hot and sweaty. I'm very happy here in Canberra.))

Bertram whistled slightly, and his pyjamas flicked back into his casual outfit. He winked at her expression, and took her hand.

The two of them reached the park's exit, and looked out into Barton's forests. Bertram shuddered slightly, pocketing the pebble he had picked up from the exit. A well-worn path led into the woods, paw-prints covering it.

A howl came from the distant hills, and the wraith shuddered slightly. Still, if the worst happened, he could always switch forms and put an end to any and all monsters in the area.

The full moon glinted overhead.

Bertram's eyes glinted sharply in the weak light, as if he was seeing the world differently. "Yeah... spooky." The pair of them walked into the forest, Bertram holding her hand. In his terror, he had let his control lapse, and his palm was now chilly. He hadn't noticed, though, too busy keeping a close look-out for anything dangerous.

Normally, he wouldn't dream of being in these forests... but if Ikue could be brave, he could pretend to be for her sake.
