((OOC: I have a little time so I am going to start on my IC entrance post. Please bare with me))
Walking down a narrow cobble stone path Ahtel squints here ocean blue eyes trying to peer through the massive conifers. Realizing that there was no one in sight Ahtel reaches down and pulls her heavy cloak tight around her midsection. The action was not necessary but more of a habit. See Ahtel has spent much of her time imitating the actions of humans, that has been the only way she has been able to operate relatively un scathed. Letting her mind wander she settled a distant stare on the stone path and thought about the simple things that she missed. The condensation from her breath in cold air, goosebumps and the red that painted its self on a cold weather face.
Even though in deep thought she kept her same steady pace until a misplaced stone was caught in her perrifial vision. Ahtel stopped and stooped to the ground with reservation she slowly reached forward with her right hand and picked up the fairly simple stone. Keeping her position she gazed at it rolling it between her index and for finger, its shape intrigued her. One side almost polished and the other jagged and sharp, this simple thing reminded her of conflicting interests. Standing she kept her vivid eyes focused on the stone, " I am wondering the significance of this piece?" Ahtel pulled the stone in hand around and stuffed in in a side pocket of her pack.
She peered forward just before she took her first step and noted a dim light aways down the cobblestone path, and she continued forward.
