Hiru headed for the hospital to visit a teammate who had been injured in their previous mission. On his way in, a proud chuunin walked in with bravado, flaunting that he had had a near perfect score on an exam. Hiru paused for a while to hear the tale, and quickly recognized one of Kiri's chuunins. It took him a few seconds, but he rememberedthe boy's name: Batsu Watanabe. He usually saw him with that violent Hoshigaki girl and that taijutsu specialist in red. Even though they both had been active around Kirigakure for a while, Hiru had been mostly on covert missions for the last few years and never had a chance to properly introduce himself to him.
Hoping to make a good first impression, Hiru approached the chuunin from behind with a huge uneasy smile and adressed him without really knowing what they were talking about, "Congratulations Batsu, I heard those jounin exams are really something else!"

Batsu Watanabe Medic/Archer HP - 192| CP - 304|Mhp - 352 D: 42 | F: 10 | R: 22 |W: 20Batsu was a bit shocked to hear a third voice, especially since the hospital was quiet for the most part aside from the patients of course. As he went to turn around to address the person, Mayumi took the opportunity to dismiss herself in a haste, leaving the two behind to talk. Batsu had turned himself around and looked at the male. Right off the bat, he noticed the male's gray skin tone and jagged teeth. "A Hoshigaki... oh great" he thought to himself. However, there was something different about this one. In comparison to the two Hoshigaki he met before, this one seemed more docile, more intelligent, more... sane... Batsu swiped a loose strand of hair from in front of his face and swept it behind his ear. "Sorry, you misheard. I just finished the first part of the medical exam, not the jounin exam. I still have a bit longer to wait in order to be even considered for the rank. But thank you anyways, Hoshigaki-san." 'Hoshigaki-san' was the first thing that popped into his head since he didn't know the other's name... just his clan. D: 42 | F: 10 | R: 22 |W: 20

It was quickly obvious to Hiru that the young shinobi had no idea who he was. Still, he couldn't really blame him since it had taken him a few moments to remember the medic nin's name as well, and it was actually his job to know the village's ressources and shinobis.
"Oh I hadn't introduced myself!", said Hiru. "I'm Hiru, Hiru Hoshigaki.", he clarified with enthusiasm. "It's great you're going through the medical corps training. We don't have a lot of efficient field medics in the village, which means you'll probably be in high demand once you finish the process!", he added.
"I might have a... project... coming up in the next few days. Think you'll be done with your exam by then?", he asked.

Batsu Watanabe Medic/Archer HP - 192| CP - 304|Mhp - 352 D: 42 | F: 10 | R: 22 |W: 20Batsu's eyes immediately widened at the mere mention of Hiru's own name. Stories had often been told about the Hoshigaki's prowess in the art of ninjutsu and here he was in the flesh. It was a petty that he didn't recognize him right off, because he began to feel a bit foolish for not knowing. After Hiru finished talking, Batsu smiled a bit... nervously. Hiru actually wanted Batsu to go on a "project" with him? How awesome was that?! "I'm sorry Hiru-san. I don't know how to answer that. Stage two of the exam is due to start soon and I'm not sure if there are anymore stages after it. But once everything is done, I'd be free to help. What kind of project is it?"After he finished, Batsu thought to himself, "If Hiru wants my help, I HAVE to get that jutsu learned." D: 42 | F: 10 | R: 22 |W: 20

Hiru smiled at Batsu's reaction when he mentionned his name. He had forgotten that since having joined the Swordsmen of the Mist his identity wasn't so secret anymore.
"It's a mission for which we've been struggling to assemble a team. And a medical ninja would certainly prove a valuable assett to it.", he explained. Looking at Batsu, he tried to figure out if he could hold his own in a fight. He certainly seemed well trained, but before he would entrust this shinobi with the well being of an entire squad, Hiru needed to be certain of his abilities; and basing his opinion on no more than vague observations certainly wouldn't be responsible.
"Say, if you have some free time before that second part of your exam, what would you say about a quick spar? We wouldn't go all out, just enough to loosen up a bit!", Hiru asked, hoping to be able to gauge his partner-to-be's abilities before officially adding him to the team.

Hiru smiled as his pedigree was recited by his fellow chuunin. He knew he had more experience in combat than most shinobis his age, but that Batsu, though very young, certainly looked like a gifted one too. He obviously wasn't going to use Samehada's shredded edge against him, but he most likely wouldn't have to hold back all that much against him.
"No problem Batsu, I wasn't planning on flooding the area but it might be wiser to move to somewhere where are less risks of accidents.", he acknowledged. "From what I heard though, the entire hospital could get a free defribilation if I was to dodge one of your attacks!", he added jokingly. Continuing his conversation with the white haired boy, he headed for the grove while warming lightly.

Besides, I wouldn't want to shock any of the patients here that didn't need it. And I most definitely didn't want t to be discovered to be my fault. Mayumi-san would be quite upset with me, ya know?" Batsu's eyes darted to the right. The boy was pretty fearless, for the most part. But one thing he feared the most was upsetting his boss. Batsu followed Hiru to the grove and unsnapped his bow from the strap on his back. [exit to main island: the grove] D: 42 | F: 10 | R: 22 |W: 20

He wanted to get to work on a stronger version of his healing technique. After all, Hiru wanted him on his team and the guy was strong. There would be no way the jutsu he knew now would be sufficient enough to help him or his summons effectively. Batsu immediately ran inside and dashed to the hospital library. Granted, it was small, but he was sure to find something to aid him in his goal. D: 42 | F: 10 | R: 22 |W: 20

Batsu Watanabe Medic/Archer HP - 192| CP - 304|Mhp - 352 D: 42 | F: 10 | R: 22 |W: 20 [FAIL] Batsu made his way into the small library within the hospital. The first thing he needed to do was find a book dealing with amplifying chakra into an already learned skill in order to enhance its effects. However, he was having a hard time locating the book, which was weird because the room was the size of an average household closet. So there was really no excuse for the boy to not find the book. But then again, there were a lot of books crammed into such a small space. [FAIL] As the boy continued to visually combed through the array of books, he found himself sighing. Too bad that the books weren't arrange by topic matter. Otherwise he would have been able to just come in and find the book he needed with little or no hesitation. But this wasn't the case. He was stuck in a cramped room looking somewhat frantically for a book that he needed. Hopefully the boy could find it and finish the jutsu before the debriefing... otherwise, he'd feel like a failure of a teammate... which was the last thing he wanted to be... especially around someone as great as Hiru. [PASS] Batsu continued to look the the small, yet great array of books that CLEARLY needed alphabetizing. One-by-one, the boy searched through the titles until he came across an interesting title that he read aloud "Hmmm.. 'Chakra Intensity: How much is Too Much?. Sounds like it could be quite useful!" Batsu removed the book from the shelf and left the library... so much as it was. The young medic then took a seat on the floor against a wall and cracked open the book. [FAIL] Batsu began to read silently,, but it seemed tl be more of a waste of time. What he was reading seemed to make no sense at all. Then again, his chakra molding wasn't exactly the best in the village. So, therefore, it was only natural that he find difficulty in trying to understand the ins and outs of the art of chakra infusion. Granted, he only read a few pages; however, he wasn't comprehending... and his intellect could rival the more mature chuunin. [PASS] "Well, at least now I know that I need to up my game when it comes to learning about medical lingo. This stuff looks foreign to me... and I'm one of two medics in the entire village." The boy gave a slight smirk as he looked back down at the [FAIL] Batsu continued his attempt at reading through the book but due to the extensive medical jargon throughout the book he wasn't doing so well at comprehending. Yes, Batsu was a medical ninja. Yes, Batsu was fairly intelligent for his age. But neither of those two things gave Batsu a pass when it came to understanding what was being said.Maybe it was time for him to try a different approach in order for him to understand what was being said. (15 + 40 = 55 PASS) Batsu shut off the chakra molding once again and felt that he was skilled enough to move on to the next portion of the jutsu. The boy had to stop for a second to try and remember what that step was, but after a while, it hit him. It was basically the same step but he had to force the chakra into a target. Considering that, he WAS at the hospital and he was sure to find at least one patient that was in need of chakra. With that said, Batsu went to his office, grabbed his lab coat and made his rounds.
As he walked though the main corridor, he came across Mayumi-san who seemed a bit occupied, and worn all at once.
"Batsu, there is a patient in room two that has exhausted his chakra. Please assist him. I have to go see about a girl who was bitten by a snake." Without another word, Mayumi darted off towards the room with the young girl. Batsu then headed towards the man.
(9 + 40 = 49 FAIL) Batsu continued down the hallway and looked into the door to see if the man was somewhat okay. The guy's eyes were closed and he wasn't moving, aside from the movement of his chest. The medic walked in and noticed that he was, indeed, sleeping... which meant he had to wake the guy up in order to get the chakra into him. Batsu walked in and placed his hand on the man's shoulder in order to shake him slightly. "Sir, I'm sorry to disturb you, but in order for me to get you out and back to what you were doing, I need you awake." The man slowly nodded and sat up in the hospital bed. Batsu then put his hands on the man's back and he closed his eyes.
(19 + 40 = 59 PASS) With everything prepared for the jutsu, Batsu began working his magic. The boy focused his untainted chakra towards his hands and as he did so his chakra flowed into the body of the man he was touching. His hands glowed blue due to the chakra and as did the man's back. The technique was working like it needed to, which was definitely a good thing. With things going swimmingly thus far. Batsu decided it best to try and converse with the man in order to try to ease the man's nerve. "So what got you to this state. If you don't want to answer I totally understand."
(8 + 40 = 48 FAIL) As the medic began forcing chakra into the man, he began to feel a bit better. He wasn't as lethargic as before which tended to be the main effect of adverse chakra loss, so things were on the upswing. The man sat still and looked at the wall ahead as he spoke. "I was training with one of my comrades in the outskirts of the grove. Oddly enough, I don't remember everything that happened leading up. All I remember was that I was fighting and I blacked out. Next thing I remember, I was here and you walked through the door short time after waking up. This has never happened before."
(6 + 40 = 46 [FAIL]) Batsu frowned slightly after hearing this. Luckily for him, his teammate was there with him or things could have turned deadly if in the wrong situation. The medic stopped pumping chakra into the man and responded. "Well, sir, consider yourself lucky that you weren't in a serious battle. Your foe could have killed you off with ease like that. Please remember that a depletion of chakra can and will knock you out so one must realize their own limits before it gets to that point." Batsu gave a nod and gave the man a pat on his back as he resumed distributing chakra to the other once more. The man gave a nod as he started to feel better now that he was on the road to recovery, but his curiosity got the best of him. This medic was still very young and knew so much for his age. He had to know what his story was.
(11+40 = 51 [PASS] As Batsu continued the procedure, the patient turned his head and asked the boy a question. "You seemed very knowledgeable about this type of stuff. What's your story and what made you want to be a medic?"
Batsu smirked at the compliment. He felt good hearing that he was considered to have known a lot. But in all actuality, he knew he had a great deal to learn in order for him to even be considered as a mediocre medic... in his mind anyways.

Batsu heard the bell and cut his jutsu off midstream and looked towards the door of the room. The medic then looked back towards his patient and placed his hand on the man's chest and pushed on him to get him to lay back. "I must go see what's going on. Please lie back and relax until you have recovered." The man gave a nod and after doing so, Batsu turned and left the room.
Batsu, a young medic, made his way towards the front desk, his white ponytail of hair swished behind him from side-to-side thanks to the way he was walking. As he turned the corner into the main lobby, he noticed a male who looked not much younger than he was. The other male was looking around like he had lost something and Batsu continued to walk towards him until he made his way behind the front desk. Batsu stopped and turned towards the boy. "May I help you?"

Batsu reached down behind the desk and fumbled around until he had all the charts in his hand. He picked them all up and started to look through the sheets on by one. As he did so, he muttered the name of the woman's name softly to himself. "Takano..." After looking at the name and seeing there was no match, he shuffled the sheet to the back. "Takano..." No match, yet again. The sheet went to the back of the pile. He repeated the process until he came back to the first record he came across. Batsu then looked up at the kid with a bit of a worried expression displayed on his face. "Uh... I'm sorry. There's no one by that name here. Are you sure that that person has checked-in here?'
