Sophie walked into her room, sat down on the bed, and continued reading the Illiad, trying to convince herself that she didn't care. But now that it had been mentioned...everything about it made sense. The stirring when she read mythology, as if she knew it all, and more...it made sense. She decided that she would start conducting research. Back to the Library. Again.

Alis walked over to the nearest good-looking apartment building, bought herself an apartment (with a few bills off of the multi-million-dollar pile she had brought.) She was now busy moving furniture she had summoned down from Olympus. When she was satisfied, she sat down and started creating her lessons plans for the year.

Ares leaned against his bike just outside the library waiting. Despite the very soft sprinkling of rain, he didn't mind getting wet. He ran a hand through his thick, black hair as he thought about his next move. Luckily, the cover of the tree overhead prevented his bike from getting too wet.
His black, t-shirt was soon sticking to his body from the outside moisture. Rather than leave immediately, however, he had a feeling to wait a few moments longer. Taking the "History of War" book from his pocket, he placed it in a black, leather pouch on the bike before turning around to lean against his bike and look back in the direction of the library.
"So, you coming or not," he said more to himself than to anyone else as he reached inside his pocket and pulled out a cigarette.

Frigg looked down on the mortalized Olympians with interest. She rather liked them. Maybe she would help them...no. She would stay indifferent. Because that was Frigg's way. But then again...she caught a glimpse of their futures and smiled. No, they wouldn't be needing her help. Yet. Satisfied, she turned back to her spinning.

"Great idea, we should give that guy a call," Alan said to Aly.

Aly smiled as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. " Do you have the card with his number? We can go outside long enough to call him and see about getting some answers. That ir I'll hit him with my bow. That feels right somehow."

Sophie walked back into the Library, straight to the mythology section. "I'm doing some research on it," she informed her general audience.

Finished with her lesson plans, Alis teleported back up to Olympus. Where was everybody? Knowing Athena, she wouldn't be gone for this long. And she wasn't allowed in the Olympian throne room. Instead, she went to the nearest computer. Athena had just happened to share with her the Norse gods' email addresses. Dear Loki, she wrote, Where are all of the Olympians? It's not like any of them (except Dionysus and Zeus) to be out this long. And all of them? I know something's up. I'm going to find out.

Hestia walked around the Olympian pavilion, on her way to the throne room. It was time for her daily Hearth-check. The flames needed tending...as she walked into the room, she found--no flame at all. "I'm sure you have a plausible explanation for this," she said, looking up at the man in the throne. It was not who she was expecting it to be. "Who are you?"

Alan took out his cellphone and handed it to Aly. "Here you go, do you want me to call or would you rather do it?"

Loki was composing a response with a quill and ink. He loathed the modern responses of mortal men and would sooner Listen to one of Nerthus's tales of when he was a young than use a mortal respondance machine affectionately called a Computer. Finishing his response in the traditional runes of the Aesir, he handed the scroll to the immortal White Raven messenger that ferried messages to other deities. He looked to the side and cursed mentally; Another Goddess! How many people DIDN'T I poison? Must I make another concoction to rid myself of these Greeks? "I am Loki of the Aesir, God of Firelight." he said as Loki rose to greet the newest arrival. "Your relations called the Greek Gods are not present, and will unlikely be able to attend in such short notice." Magicking up his conjuring staff, he gathered energies to him, "But that won't matter to them when they find their beloved relation in immortal danger."

Aly handed the phone back to Alan. " You. For some reason I get the feeling you're more diplomatic than I am. If we're really who that guy says then it stands to reason."

Hestia raised an eyebrow ( a highly unusual gesture for her). "Loki of the Aesir. God of firelight, really? Interesting. I am Hestia, goddess of the Hearth. I came merely to check on the flames of Olympus," she murmured, and added, " I am the thirteenth Olympian." She lit the great hearth in the center of the throne room and started to walk out.

Alan dialed the number into his cell phone. He wasn't sure what he'd say exactly to Ares but he figured he could just wing it and see where it's lead.

Aly watched her brother calmly as she leaned on her bow. For some reason this position felt natural as though she had done it a thousand times before and was simply waiting for her brother to pay attention to her again. She had no clue where the feeling came from but it didn't bother her at all as she watched him.
