V remained silent with a clenched jaw. He stood behind ready to jump in front the minute something happened. Knowing it would only piss off Shaylene if he'd pushed her behind him.

"Now now, No need to get angry," Laura raised her hands in defense, "Just doing to for the sake of science and out people." She took a few steps back eying not Red but the vampire. Powerful is always a good trait, I could use that blood. "Besides I'm just here to make sure the side effects don't kick in to harshly on you. I'm only being thoughtful."

Thoughtful? Red voice was sarcastic, though it lowered and suddenly she took on a very sweet tone. If you wanted help, you could have asked. She hissed.

"What fun is it if I simply asked for things?" She looked Red over. "And you don't seem to be any worse for wear." At least this one didn't have such a bad reaction as the others... "Not harm done."

Rage boiled in her and suddenly Shaylene pressed her fingers to her lips and pulled away from Vitae. Colors swam before her eyes and nausia rolled over her. 'Scuse me! She whispered, rushing into the tree's.

"Want?" she put a finger to her chin and thought a moment. "Your blood would be wonderful. Even better if you could sacrifice your body for science. I do need to learn more then what I know now."

E-w-w, and yet intriguing. "Think of it like taking a flu shot. Sometimes people get sick but in the long run it's good for you," she smile while continuing to back up holding her left over cloths in one hand and looking for her pack with the other. Damn, left it at the house.

Shaylene heaved, and then stumbled father into the tree's to heave again. Hearing V's voice, she wiped her mouth and turned slightly unfocused eyes to him. I-I'm guessing a side effect.

Shaylene rubbed her stomach and nodded. Yyyeah. Just sore? She tried to put a word to how she felt. Kind of like the pulse behind a bruise. She thought.

Okay, so I didn't get to obtain any strong vampire blood but I think I'll cut my losses and count on what I've just observed. Scurrying away from the two she tried to figure which way was the house. "Why is it so hard to tell north from south!" grumbled Laura. She had two choices at hand: stay and observe the subject or take to the air and go back to the house. I rather sleep in my lab. At the moment that didn't sound like such a bad idea. Not to mention the vampire was stronger then she could be even with her experimental power ups. It was age verse science, and she couldn't win that.

V looked angry and upset. Pissed would be the word. He turned away and punched a tree causing it to splinter and break, dangerously close to falling down. His fist bleeding due to the wood. "I'll kill her."
