L slowly recuperated and opened his eyes slowly only to see all the chaos coming at the hands of a man and his control over the others. Looking around slowly, he noticed himself in the lap of the girl from before as he groaned and pulled away gently, causing him to slip out of her lap and back onto the ground on his side. He didn't care about what was going on so much as the others, he couldn't figure out what was going on and attempting to comprehend only made his head hurt again as he moved to a new seat.
Moving back into his awkward seating position, he brought his head to rest on his knees with a sigh. He wiped his tear-stained cheeks on the cloth of his clothes and brought his hand up, biting down on it hard. "niaga reven...niaga reven..." he whispered before resting his head back down and moving his palm from his mouth to cup them over his ears at the mayhem occurring around him. "Cease this pointless toil...enough...my head is full to split and enough has transpired...please..."

If Thorn had not been full of rage before, as sure as hell, she was now. She could feel the anger that had been building up inside of her towards teh doctor finally overflow as the fights between his "puppets" began. She didn't remember the boy sitting back on the floor, nor could feel the gaze of another; her mind was only focused on the horror before her. Her fists were clenched so tightly that the nails were now digging into her skin as she shook with uncontrollable rage.
First off, it was official that that Dawn girl was 100% brainwashed, even before getting controlled; the two (the other contestant that Alice girl) fighting in order to stay alive. This was awful.........NO ONE should control people like that. ANd her priest of a father said there was a loving God.......well, where was he then?! Just more proof that he was wrong; how he'd always been wrong. Loving Gods don't put people through hell like this.
But at teh sound of a microchip in her brain, she took a moment to panic as she dug beneath her hair frantically, as if a spider was within it. How dare he.......get it out! GET IT OUT! she took a moment to mentally scream at herself, as she could hear the a-hole of a doctor's voice began to laugh at her. Both panic and laughter in her mind ceased instantly as the events continued to unfold.
One girl had tried to attack the doctor, but was taken out by some big-arse guard. Props to her, but bad timing. Another boy dove into the fight and got hurt. Rages of power flowed between the two.
Then all the lights were out.
In a second Thorn was off the floor and running stealthly, once again forgetting her Crimson Tales book, which now lay beside Shakespere. She could see perfectly in the dark; after all, The Red Skies had tons of night shifts and night battles, so her eyes were well trained. She looked between silouttes of students and guards, til her eyes rested on the doctor........well, if he wasn't going to stop the chaos, she'd make him. Or Dawn. But her anger was not at Dawn, so that wouldn't be right.
Gathering her power, her eyes turned a blood-red color again as she focused on the Doc's body, holding that precious little remote of his, the other source of chaos. She wanted him to freeze and never move again. She wanted him to drop that remote and never pick it up into his grimy evil hands again. She wanted him to die, but slowly and painfully as much as the others have been suffering put together, and more, so that it would at least make up PARTLY for what he did. She wanted him on his knees begging for death before her, his insides ripped out of his body, his bones broken, his skin beaten and bruised and burned.
Though that wasn't possible, Thorn wanted him to freeze so badly that he would never, EVER, move again. They weren't puppets and never will be.

~*~*~*~*~* Draconis tried to flatten himself against the wall as Gerard stalked in, flanked by the new, more intimidating guards. Wow. They were really serious about this, weren't they? Escaping seemed futile, if not completely impossible. Dawn's cuteness seemed out of place next to the horrible doctor, and then he gasped audibly as she suddenly fell over, unconscious. That was not good. How did he do that!? The remote... from what he could see from here, there was probably a button for each of them... ah! Microchips! He traced the scar on the back of his skull idly as he tried to figure out how the remote was working. Obviously it had a link to the microchip in their brains, but where? It probably sent an electrical shock of one of their lobes, but...
Oh, my God. She looks like a zombie! he thought in terror as pseudo-Dawn rose. Alright, this level of science he'd never even thought existed, much less seen demonstrated. And... hmm, 102. Who was that? Oh, the girl next to him. Alex... Allen... Alice! Oh, poor girl. He watched with horror as pseudo-Dawn attacked Alice, wondering how else this doctor could control them. He could pit them against each other. At the end of the day, they could ultimately be made into slaves.
Suddenly feeling violated for the chip in his brain, Draconis watched the fight carry on, his grey eyes darting between them frantically. Gerard... he didn't look too well. From his somewhat surprised expression, Draconis figured he was either scared (which wasn't likely), or something hadn't gone completely according to plan. Had the doctor lost control of his patients? The thought almost made him smirk evilly, but then he remembered there were other people around, so he restrained. Hm. Maybe this doctor didn't have as much control as he thought? Still, this turn of events made the blond boy an iota more uncomfortable than before. If all else failed, Gerard could simply order them to kill each other and start from scratch with more unsuspecting teenagers.
Oh, hell. This would not do at all. And-- holy crap! The lights bursted! That vortex did not look very inviting. Nope, not one bit. And now there was no light! The dark did not bid so well with Draconis, especially when it was dark and in a place he wasn't comfortable with. In the dark his depth perception was zero, and he lost his balance, falling to the side and landing hard on his hip. "Ah!" he exclaimed rather loudly. Oh, that was gonna bruise fast. When was this fight going to end?
You've made your point! he mentally screamed at Gerard. We get it! We've got powers! Now get off your coward rear end and fix it! ~*~*~*~*~*

Sean, at first, loved the scene unfolding before his eyes! So much, he barely understood what Tylor, who had been sitting right next to him, had said. He just nodded and agreed, his face in a hideous grin. Then his eyes flashed, his stupor changed to frustration as he realized that chaos wouldn't come as long as the doctor held the remote. And even Sean wasn't crazy enough to challenge those new guards. His eyes went blank as he tried sifting through time. He saw the events clearly, looking almost from a points of view that didn't seem possible. Sean had activated his powers to try and see what had truly happened. He had, of course, heard the words and seen the actions, but this way he could see what the doctor was really doing. Sean saw the remote, the doctor pressing buttons...Sean struggled to see what they did or what they said but it was just beyond his sight. He tried moving forward when something slashed into his left cheek, and he stumbled out of his trance and onto the ground. He thought it had affected his eye, because the lights when out but then he realized his other eye couldn't see either. He felt a bitter, yet almost inviting taste in his mouth as he wiped blood from a cut on his cheek. Chaos...it was the greatest thing for me...but being a puppet? Well that's just not in my intentions. The doctor will control me if I don't do something... he thought grimly. "So Tylor, how do you suppose we win the game now?"

Felicia's eyes adjusted well to the dark from her life on the streets and being locked up in her own home. She sat up and peered around at the chaos around her. Damnit! She stumbled out of her seat and moved in a crouch across the room, her grey eyes darting about. She heard a strange thud and an audible 'Ah!' and recognized Draconis' voice. Her eyes widened slightly; had he been hurt? Felicia turned her head in the direction she had heard his voice, wishing her left eye wasn't damaged. She quickly crept forward with her arms outstretched, feeling about quickly yet gently until she felt a form laying on the ground. Her breath caught and her hands pulled back as she squatted down, concern in her voice. "Draconis? Is that you? Are you hurt?" She asked, hearing more crashes and cursing coming from behind her.

"Even power doesn't last forever my good friend, the doctor will lose it eventually, we just have to wait for some other player to do it for us. When they die, we are free either way. With this new development, chaos is already on its way with a lucky full roll with a two times bonus and a choice to pick any card in his or her deck."
Tylor smiled within the dark, his grin masked by the veil of darkness created by the lack of light. This new factor would greatly change the path of chaos into a treadmill turned on to the max leading towards the White Ridge Academy on a collision course for destruction. It was only a matter of time till someone used these to take advantage of the situation and Tylor knew how.
"We simply take the controller from the good doctor and we can control all the fools in this school. If we can hit that bull's-eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate."

Charlie had watched the non-microchip-induced fighting between the other kids with some amusement. Not that she wanted it to continue, but it proved that everyone was just as freaked out as she was. She wasn't a complete failure. Besides, the way the kid with the laptop that had been broken talked was just plain funny. She couldn't help sniggering from time to time at what he said. That said, she also felt a little left out because no one was paying attention to her. Not that that wasn't par for the course for her, but still. It almost made her want to do something...reckless.
Then the doors flew open and the rat b*****d himself and a bunch of new guards stomped in. Just looking at the man made her want to both vomit and get up and punch him for treating the kids the way he did. Then he called for Alice and Dawn. A sinking feeling emerged in the pit of her stomach. What was he going to do to them? Charlie watched as the events unfolded, the news of the microchip infuriating her further. The fight between Alice and Dawn began to get increasingly violent and Charlie saw Jack react before she knew what he was reacting to. He hit the floor and she heard Alice scream. Then the lights went out. Blinded for a few moments, Charlie's rage snapped. Sure she had hurt people herself, but never like this. Never in such magnitude or on purpose. The people Charlie had hurt were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. This ws something else entirely. She saw that it was killing Alice to do this to Dawn, and that Jack was a casualty. All Charlie wanted was to stop the mad scientist before anyone else had to go through Alice's pain. Almost before she realized what she was doing, she was up and sprinting at Gerard, hoping to get at least one hit in before the guards took her down.

((I was SOOOOOOOO ready to post right after Sora Kitty but then my freakin' power went out and my post disappeared! Great! Time to play catchup. -_-))
Brynn Syvra was so pissed. The boy had fought back and choked her. She raged, she'd been about ready to shift almost all of her power onto this one boy. SHE would bury HIM. SHE was older. SHE was definitely stronger. SHE was smarter. SHE would not lose. SHE... Hal yelled and rushed to her, hugging her. Brynn Syvra stood, kinda stunned. Her throat hurt and the scars where the pins had been inserted into her right leg throbbed, but probably not as much as the others entire bodies did. She buckled, her entire body falling to the floor, but Hal clung on, her face buried in Brynn Syvra's chest. Brynn Syvra didn't know what to do. She was kinda dazed. Her arms stood out either side of Hal's body, but slowly, awkwardly, she brought them to rest around Hal in reciprocation. She stared ahead of her a moment, zoning out, remembering. She muttered so only Hal could hear, "You...remind me of the only person I've ever called friend..." But as Hal looked up and before Brynn Syvra could properly decipher her expression, the doctor burst in with a bunch of guards, the Rai boy scurried over and started talking to Hal, and then Dawn and Alice began a fight to the death...and then the lights went out. This worked to her advantage. Her rage at the doctor was nothing compared to what it had been towards the boy. He's hurting my DAWN! she screamed inwardly. She shook off Hal, her face filled with murder. She walked a few steps closer, but not close enough for the guards to threaten her. She didn't care that her body was in bad shape. The focus came easier now. She wanted the doctor to die, if only mentally. She focused and honed in on his face, and then she felt the surge she wanted. She fell to her knees but kept her focus on the doctor. She wanted the last thing he remembered to be pain. Rip, tear, bind, scorch, bend, break, electrocute, scald, burn, dismember, pull apart, PAIN.

As some of the students were foolish enough to take on the Doctor, L took the moment to scurry under a table and cringe in the fetal position. In the darkness, he could barely see anything, but when he could tell the people he'd been focusing on when they moved. The girl who attacked him and the girl who comforted him both ran and tried to attack the doctor, this was not a good move and he could tell...if he didn't do something, they could get hurt. Wait--why would he care if the girl who attacked him got hurt?! She was a b***h who deserved what she got...but...the fact that Hel stood up for her and defended her from his retaliation...he couldn't ignore it. For some odd reason beyond his recognition, he was from under the table and as he ran by, he took a hold of Thorn's arm and the mean girl with the same powers as his. "Waaiiiit! You can't!!! You'll get hurt too!" he said as he yanked them both back and pinned them down with his eyes shut tight. He didn't know what swept over him, he should've saved himself and only himself...but the way he was making those girls behave...he couldn't let it happen to them too. "He'll attach strings to your heads too! He'll make you both hurtie!!! Turn you into zombiez of the darkness!!!"

((Ah, that stinks.))
Thorn had felt that surge of power move through her eyes and focus on hte man who deserved to die; whether it worked or not, she was unsure, but the power was used up either way, and she hoped he'd fall in pain and never get back up. She didn't really register the footsteps beside her, or behind her...........though in a moment this would've been a good thing to note.
But suddenly, she felt someone grab her arm and pull her back onto the ground, taking her fully by surprise. While she normally would've started something out of it, it put her in complete surprise that the one responsible for the sudden rough handleing was...........Shakespere, and the girl from before who was in charge of pain was on the other side of her. He eyes were shut tight, pinning them down, for their safety.
"He'll attach strings to your heads too! He'll make you both hurtie!!! Turn you into zombiez of the darkness!!!"
Thorn watched his sudden concerns, and decided to follow them. As strange as he worded it, he had a point. If she had gone much farther, there wasn't alot more that could happen other than getting caught. She felt pain return to her eyes, her powers used up. She didn't know what to do anymore, but merely looked at the raging scene for a moment. As much as she hated it, he was right, but still.......
She lay down, letting out a sigh of irritation of her own uselessness, but didn't move from her position.
"Dang it all! Why are we in this hell? None of us deserve this! And I was told long ago there was a caring God...........don't see him here, which doesn't surprise me." she sighed, her voice quiet and barely audioable enough to hear, but hte last part a dry chuckle. The last part she wasn't even aware was aloud.

((Wow, everything's chaos... O_o))
Hal collapsed with Brynn, panting. L's power had felt like hot knives in her back, and she was glad to be rid of it. Truth be told, she hadn't even considered what might happen when she threw herself between them - only that she didn't want two of her friends fighting. Not when they had so much else to be fighting for. Softly, Brynn murmured, "You... remind me of the only person I've ever called friend..." As Hal looked up, dumbfounded, the doors banged open and Doctor Gerard burst in. Hal's skin prickled. She really didn't like this guy. She hadn't thought it would be so bad at White Ridge - after all, everything was being provided for them, and even though they were experiments, at least they got cool powers. But her recent experiences had taught her that cooping up a bunch of superpowered teenage delinquents together was a bad idea. And now he was talking about controlling them...! Dr. Gerard summoned Dawn and Alice up to him. Hal knew enough about how Dawn thought to see that she was over the moon. Then Gerard pulled out a remote control. A chill rushed down Hal's spine. That can't be good. It wasn't. Dawn attacked Alice with her power, and Alice fought back, the same way Hal had seen her doing - was it only hours ago? It felt like years. Hal was both horrified and indignant. This is different even than Brynn and L fighting. They at least chose to do that... this is power being used for power's sake, against Dawn's will. This is to prove the Doctor's power over us. Because he created us. And at that, Hal felt a burning anger start to grow inside her. She was distracted when Brynn shoved her way aside to get to Dawn. "Brynn, wait!" Hal called desperately, not wanting her to get caught up in the flurry of broken glass. Brynn might have the power of pain, but she couldn't use it to protect herself. Rai came over and started to apologize, but Hal wasn't really listening. She scanned the scene, trying to find a way to stop it, get her friends out... something. Rai was still there, and Hal realized he was waiting for an answer. "Yeah, we can-" She stopped. Friends. Maybe that was it. Hal suddenly turned her full attention to Rai. "Even if that control is meant to control all of us," she said breathlessly, "maybe it can't control more than a few at once. Maybe if we all try to use our powers at once to hurt him, some of us will get through. Tell the others!" Hal turned back to glare at Doctor Gerard. She felt fairly sure that he wouldn't make her a telepath without protecting himself from the same powers. But since all of this was going on at once - woops, there go the lights - he probably wouldn't be paying attention to that little detail. Mindful of how she'd messed up with Rai and Felicia, Hal sent her powers out cautiously. If I can get some of the combinations for the locks and that control of his, maybe I can get us out of here.

Brynn Syvra was shocked as the same boy who'd hated her just as much back pulled her out of the way and was trying to keep her safe. She almost snarled at him for interfering, but she thought better of it and clamped her mouth shut. She crawled back towards Hal and heard what she said. "It's a possibility," she whispered in the darkness. "Problem is, any one of us could have powers that would be very bad if they were controlled. For example, me and the kid." She gestured in L's direction. "If we're taken over, there's no limit to who we can hurt. The most I've hurt at one time is 5 people, I bet hands down I could do this entire room without blinking an eye." Her braid had come slightly loose and a few strands of hair dangled in her eyes. She saw they were midnight black and that the very ends were tipped in silver white. She swung her braid around so she could see it all and realized that all her hair was black and the ends looked like they'd been dipped in silver white. She stared in disbelief, but she had no time to be vain. She'd figure out the damage later. She flicked it back behind her shoulders and looked at Hal. "Out immediate problem is which ones he'll control and who does the most damage."

~*~*~*~*~* (( Was gonna comment you back, Dragon, but your smart a** has your profile on private. mad So I comment back here!: Thank you! biggrin ))
Draconis felt hands on him for a split second, causing him to slam himself against the wall to get away from them. Some might have thought it was just because it surprised him, but it was for a whole other reason completely. When he learned it was Felicia from her voice, he calmed down a little. "Yeah, it's me," he yelled above the chaos, squinting to try and see her form in the dark. Obviously his attempts were futile, but he thought he'd give it a go. "I just fell over. I'm fine," he assured, sweeping his hair over his shoulder to out of the way. Deciding that this spot was probably safest, he sat against the wall, ready in case debris from something decided to fly at them. "Are you okay?" It seemed polite to ask, he thought. Obviously the situation was very much NOT okay, but he was mostly making sure she wasn't pouring blood or something equally life-threatening. ~*~*~*~*~*

( xD Sorry, add me and you'll be good. : D You're welcome. ^^)
Felicia heard another slam and was concerned, hearing Draconis' voice a little farther away now. She thought about his question and made a run down on her exaughsted, pain-ridden body. As long as she wasn't dying or mortally wounded she didn't care. "Yeah, I'm alright, but everything's gone to hell." Felicia reached into her pocket and dug out the keys she had stolen earlier, even the bent one. She didn't know how to fix it so she kept it and reached out until she was certain that her slender hand was pressed against his chest. "Here, you should hold onto these. They could help you." She said, hoping he would accept. Afterall if the guards caught her, which was very likely going to happen, they would take them back. But if they didn't know that Draconis, who seemed less likely to be captured, had them they wouldn't be able to get them back and they could use them to their advantage. Felicia turned her head and strained to see better in the dark, wondering if she should risk jumping into the middle of the fight.

~*~*~*~*~* He snorted. "You can say that ag--" When a hand was pressed to his chest, he made a very odd, breathy noise as if in pain. Hell! Would this chick just stop touching him!? His heartbeat skyrocketed and he cold-sweated, taking the keys from her hand with his own shaky one. Once done, he gently nudged her hand away, shoving the keys into his front pocket. Really, he couldn't be upset with her; she had no knowledge of his touching fear, but still. He felt a tad more irritable afterwards, and answered, "Yeah, maybe I can lock that 'doctor' in a safe or something." It was no more than the man deserved.
Lord, he wished he knew what was happening. Who was hurt? Were the guards involved? Could they see them? Was there any chance for escape? Now that he had keys, he figured he could lock himself somewhere, or UNlock something and get out, but didn't think it a very smart option if he wasn't going to get far after leaving the cafeteria. Sighing, he nervously toyed with his ponytail, waiting for some semblance of control to take over the situation.
