User ImageGreetings, I'm 23 years old and I live in Puerto Rico. I joined Gaia back in 2003, and now I'm finishing my last year of college. Through my college years, I have seen how students have created their own garden. I tried doing one with my neighbors, but I moved away before we could start.

But in my University Chapter of the Chamber of Commerce, we have established small projects, such as planting Arabic coffee plants and making furniture with recycled wood planks(?).

I hope to be able to find tips and share my projects with this amazing community. emotion_c8

Hullo southern neighbour! I'm in BC, in zone 4a. I am super jealous of your 8a. I've worked in a garden centre and it was one of the best jobs I've ever had. I hope you're able to fine a nursery job, because it really does rock!

Welcome! I'd love to hear about your projects. I've never grown coffee plants before, did you find it easy?

Hi, I'm Sam. I joined Gaia several years ago in high school and tend to drift back whenever I'm unemployed long enough to get bored. Like now. I was raised in southern Arkansas but now live on a ranch in Montana. I raise heritage breed chickens, am an avid gardener (though I find the sagebrush steppe climate I'm in challenging), and love to spin, knit, embroider, and read. I'm an archaeological technician, which provides only summer work this far north, so I've been trying to motivate myself to be crafty enough to start a business with it during the winter.

Hello! I'm called Rose. I am a witchy in training >w< but don't let that be the basis of your judgement! I LOVE challenges, and i like artsy things, gardening, cooking, and all kinds of things! I'm currently trying to do some big challenges in gardening too!

You see, I live in gardening zone 6b, but that's not stopping me from obtaining AND growing tropicals like passionfruit, dragonfruit, cupuassu, cacao, vanilla, sugar cane, bananas, and blood oranges!

As of now I have many more seeds than that, and not all of those fruits I have yet, but I'll get them soon! I have blueprints on how to recycle plastic bottles into a greenhouse, so I'm working on that.

I have a lot of recipes, crafts and such to share!

~sigh~ I envy you... I'm actually getting a few seeds from puerto rico ^^ the cupuassu and cacao actually.

Hey, my name is Torrance.

I'm eighteen years old and currently pursuing a BFA in Animation. I also enjoy drawing comic strips in my free time.

I actually heavily enjoyed Gaia when I was in middle school and early high school, but decided to call it quits. Due to newfound boredom and desire to do something relatively new, I am now back.

I love to cook, which led me to try and grow my own vegetables. I'm also trying to enter new fields of interest, such as crafting and knitting. I hope to become more economical, practical, and creative in this guild.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my introduction and pleasure to make your acquaintance.
