[[ I'd love to introduce a planetary invasion of Earth arc, as well as a flood of refugees from the world of Azeroth. It would take a decent amount of work. But it would be interesting to saw the least.
Imagine a massive portal opening in - I dunno, one of Earth's big cities or a desolate area of Earth. The imagine a massive dimension traveling ship appear in the sky and crash into an island chain or again, a desolate area of Earth.
Those are just the refugees. The demonic forces of the Burning Legion would come later. But we would finally have a bad guy that could run circles even around Deity: Kil'jaeden the Deceiver, Lord of the Burning Legion. There is, of course, the Lich King (See sig) too - who may soon rival the power of the Deceiver. ]]

[[ No one really knows the true limit of his powers.
The only real statement thats been made is that his power is only bounded by his mind and will. As the Deceiver, he is a master of illusion. He can shapeshift and control his overall size. In the matter of arcane magics, he is unsurpassed. He has personally enslaved the Dreadlords - who are incredibly powerful demons that are basically soul vampires.
He is a master of deception and trickery - most of the time he doesn't even bother with fighting. Kil'jaeden will stay behind the scenes, manipulating events to his desires. No one has really ever seen Kil'jaeden fight. The warlock always has someone do the dirty work for him.
There are plenty of other powerful beings that would happily try to crush us: The Lich King would do it for sport. Illidan Stormrage would do it if it would mean he could somehow attain more power. ]]

[[ Bad thing for us is that I could see Kil'jaeden working with your baddie - at least for a time. There seems to be nothing called a 'setback' for the Deceiver. He seems to plan accordingly for all possible problems that could occur. As for fast, I don't know. But he could easily stand back and use his vast arcane magic skills to attack us.
And, like I said, that's just one baddie. The Lich King may rival Kil'jaeden's power and has an army of undead minions. Illidan is less powerful - and now insane - but still mighty in his own right. ]]
