Masa looked down at the scene. Hiru had ran off, Shinzu was still recovering and Batsu was tending to his care. Byakuran was doing his best to help and Mizuiro came out of nowhere. This thing needed to die. It was inhuman in both size and its durability. Masaraku struck three blows to the beast. By the first it was dead, the second was to make sure it stayed dead. And as she drove the sword through the things head she said, "Nobody gets to hurt my teammates like that." She pulled out her sword and looked at everyone around. "Somebody get Hiru, Somebody tell Taka-sensei what happened here." She looked at the two students. "You two, get back to the academy, tell them its clear." She looked at Batsu and said, "Do you want help getting him to the hospital or can you do everything you need here?"

She rolled her eyes and said, "I'm pretty beat up myself, I just have a bit of a better tolerance I suppose." She looked around and said, "I'll head outside. If things get to bad ..." She paused and said, "After you get Shinzu patched up a little more we can all go to the hospital together. The exams are to close for us to risk any of us being to hurt, and you're going to need your chakra, so don't use it all on him right now." She began to walk away and said, "Uh, if you like, uh, need anything ..." and pointed at the door. She went outside, snatching up the small body of Fai Lang and tossing him out the door. She rummaged through the body until she saw a headband for Konahagakure. 'The Fire Daimyo strikes again.' Was her thought process as she continued to pat the guy down.

Byakuran gave a slight smirk as the Hoshigaki drew the battle to a close, his face turning bemused at her accusation he was a student. "Hn...back to the academy...I suppose I don't represent myself very well...still." he he gave a forced laugh through his injuries, before giving a slight bow. "If it's all the same to you... I think I may go recover from my wounds..." his eyes turned towards the dead body of his target...Jin, a glint of satisfaction that at least his secret had died with him in the young Otobe's eyes. "I've already pushed my luck achieving what I needed to here." he said almost to himself, before holding his hand up in a single hand sign. "Still...it was a pleasure fighting alongside you all... maybe we could do this again sometime." he insisted in a gentile voice, or as gentile as he could manage at the moment, before he vanished in the flicker of a shunshin, whisking himself out of the library. Making a flashy exit was always important, after all.

Still, he needed to rest...this battle was not easy on him, and he'd not been at full strength since the conflict began... he winced slightly, putting a hand over the remains of his burns from earlier, and headed off towards his apartment. He'd sleep this whole situation off...and hopefully be able to make himself presentable by the time Lord Orikami arrived... the last thing he needed was to be even more of a laughing stock with his clan than he already was....

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)

A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another with extreme speeds. This super-fast movement is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. To a normal person, it would seem as if the user has teleported.
Cp cost: 15 or 1 per ft

Requirements: Dexterity 20, Chakra Control 10, Ninjutsu 8
Training: 2 stages
Stage I: Dexterity DC 15 {d20 + dex mod} First of all, a ninja much be able to run fast. Get your speed up to scratch rookie!
Stage II: Chakra Control DC 20 Now practice fielding your chakra towards your leg muscles to enhance their power. If done right, you should move at an accelerated pace with minimal side effects.
Special: When rolling initiation checks or racing, or anything that involves speed, add chk mod to the dice roll. Does not nullify Stealth checks.

Air is cool through the streets of Kirigakure as Yun walks, the young boy pulling his hood up to brace away from the cold. He hastens his pace slightly, 'The sooner I get there the better', he thinks to himself. His destination, the Kirigakure Library. Sure, actually getting your hands on scroll's or books can sometimes be problematic, but it's a medium of learning not used by many. Yun reaches his destination, ascending the stares and walking through the front door. Looking to Miss Harumi, the librarian, the young boy see's she's reading some text per usual, not paying attention to him in the least. Yun walks through the stacks of book with a goal in mind, shinobi weapons. An interest the young boy hopes to quell with a novel. Turning a corner right he reaches a section he's perused countless times. Books, scrolls, and manuscripts concerning weapons. Yun extends himself on the tip of his toes and reaches something that peaks his interest. 'Senbon; Tool or Weapon'. With a shrug, he walks a few more feet to find a soft, oversized armchair. With a plop Yun sits and begins.

Opening the book Yun rereads the title as well as the name of the author, some individual he's never heard of before. Flipping through a few pages to find the beginning the young boy skims a sentence or two, noticing the book is indeed about the shinobi tool but it starts abruptly and little of it makes sense to him. 'of strong metals, senbon started as a doctor's tool, most often acupuncturists.' Yun scrunches up his face and shrugs. Looking down to the bottom of the pace, he notices that the page he's currently reading is labeled five. Expression quickly changing from one of confusion to that of irritation, the boy flips back a few pages to the beginning. 'Alright, lets start this again.' Yun settles back into the the armchair and begins reading again. From the first page this time around.

'Thin needles occasionally used in shinobi combat are called senbon by those in the know. But, they began as something totally different.' Yun's eyes followed along with the text splayed out on the page in front of him. His age should not be used to measure ability; Yun hadn't ever had problem reading, Uncle Tio had made sure of that. 'Now used as dangerous weapons if used correctly, senbon originated as tools for healing various illnesses through the use of acupuncture.' The young Fubuki nodded as he read on, this was something he was aware of. Lessons at the ninja academy had given him basic knowledge about weaponry but he desired a more in depth answer.

'The original needles used in medicine are nowhere near the size of their murderous cousins. Senbon being their elongated and thicker cousins.' Yun pictured the senbon Sensei had shown the class durring his lesson on the tools of ninja. It measured somewhere between six and nine inches in length. There's no way something like that could be used in acupuncture, that would be dangerous or possibly life threatening knowing of the practices delicate nature.'Sensei said senbon were weapons not to be taken lightly, in the hands of a practiced shinobi they could be fatal due to their accurate strikes.'

'Acupuncture being a medicing needing practice, patience, and skill to perfect, the use of senbon is no different.' Yun scoffed at the book and quickly went wide eyed. He looked up and around. Seeing no one but Harumi he was relieved. If anyone within the library was going to be judged as a crazy person, Miss Harumi would give a run for his money. A chuckle left his lips as Yun returned to the book. 'Extensive knowledge of anatomy and the inner workings of the body is highly encoraged for the most effective use of the weapon. Varying status ailments can be caused to an opponent with the use of senbon, paralysis, blindness, or even fainting are all posibilities.'

'I knew that senbon were serious ninja tools, but i wasn't aware they could cause so much damage to the body.' Yun looked up and stared absentmindedly from the book in his hands. The young Fubuki pondered about the great medic-nin that walked the streets of Kirigakure both before his time and now; the precise and deadly hunter-nin that kept the now somewhat stable village safe from intrusion. That, was the ultimate goal. Yun smiled to himself and turned the page in his book. "Owww!",Yun yelped. He looked down at his hand and saw small droplets of blood exiting his finger. The young boy scowled as he instinctively placed the digit into his mouth.

Yun refocused upon the large book in his lap. 'Senbon, an extremely tactical weapon. Though they're nowhere near as popular as..' SLAP Yun's head shot up, following the sound. He followed it to Harumi. She'd apparently finished the text she'd been reading and simply flung it into a pile on the ground next to her. The two made eye contact for a short second. 'Sorry about that deary, didn't mean to startle you.', the crazed librarian said. Yun gazed at her for a short time longer and bowed his head. 'Of course, no problem Miss. Harumi.' Then child broke eye contact and looked back to his book. 'What a nutbag..'

'..nowhere near as popular as other ranged options, no shinobi's arsenal would be complete without them.' Yun nodded, just as he's imagined. No shinobi should bum rush into combat, tactics and strategy can be more than half the battle. Words of wisdom from Uncle Tio. 'It is a mystery what mastermind originally came up with the concept of senbon. An evil genius some would say. It undoubtedly take a bit of instability to make a medicinal tool into a deadly weapon.' Yun looked up from his book with a smirk. Well that's no news, although isn't anyone who knowingly makes weapons of war a bit of a loose cannon?

Loose cannons, Kirigakure is renowned for their.. colorful inhabitants. They'd been known as the 'Blood Mist Village' for countless decades due to their riggurous training exercises. Thank goodness those practices had been shucked to the wayside long before Yun was even born. The young Fubuki looked down at the novel in his lap and sighed. Even trying to find his place now would take time he wasn't really willing to invest. He's rather easily distracted, chalk it up to his youth. His attention span needs direction.

The child shook his head in a rather feral manner. Rustling his hair with his hands. 'Focus!' Yun then turned his attention back to his book. Shortly after, he couldn't help but giggle to himself. The words on the page looked once again, very familiar. This seemed to be a pattern, more often than not Yun would become distracted and re-read portions of his research matterial. 'No one can say that I'm not thorough in my exsercises.' Yun continued to wear his tickled expression as he flipped the page to hopefully continue his reading.

With a flick of the wrist Yun's happy go lucky attitude made an abrupt disappearance. 'Of course, why wouldn't it be?..' Reading the numbers at the bottom of the pages, it was clear, two pages were missing from the text! Yun voiced his growing agitation by groaning and rolling his eyes. 'This does not seen to be my day.' Abruptly the young boy stood and turned around. Yun took a few steps forward but quickly haulted. Against his better judgment, Yun decided to take the text with him; hey, it is a library right? Gracefly he unzipped his top and his the text within it's lining. 'Now the true test, to see if I can sneak this past Miss. Harumi..'

Yun fumbled with the book in his jacket for a quick second before he was adequately confident in its placement. 'Maybe she wouldn't say anything in the first place, but coming back to find it would be a pain.' Yun let out a sigh. 'And I'd rather not stay here all day..' Trying to play it cool, the boy wondered through the stacks for a few moments, ending up in the same place he'd first acquired his contraband. Jostling the books near it's resting place, faking returning it to the correct place. Calm, cool, and collected, Yun walked slowly through the stacks in the general direction of the exit.

The smile Yun had been wearing before downgraded to a smirk once that knowledge was gained. Being an amazing, dexterous, and cunning shinobi was a necessity for his dreams to come to fruition. He let out a short sigh and bowed his head back to his text. 'Known only by those who've spent their time in Amegakure, even text concerning the intricacies is difficult to come by.' This book his playing with the young boy's emotions! Yun grinned ear to ear and rose from his seated position. 'I've got to talk to Uncle Tio about this!' In a hurry, Yun pushed in his chair and made his way to the libraries exit leaving the open text in the dust.
