((NO! if you want to train go to the actual threads. What Kinami ment by ''this thread is its whole exsitence'' was that you didnt have to go to other threads to post for the fest. More or less: Training=go to the real threads mrgreen ))
((ok that was pretty pointless....sounds like you guys already knew that...just ignore me ^_^))

When Ark was bored, and there wasnt much to do at the festival, he came to the canyon to train. He had heard of a new Taijutsu, that was very famous in Konoha; the Gouken. Ark, having had gotten scrolls from the library, sat on a rock, and started to read. He read carefully, and found it quite interesting. Before he went to the ''harder'' stuff, Ark would just practice the basics. Though Ark was an excellent Taijutsu user, he wanted to hang to the basics first. He went over to a tree, put his left arm behind his back, and raised his right. The then forward thrusted his right hand into the tree.
Ark went 3/4ths into the tree. This Gouken was wy too easy. He was eager to get into the harder stuff. He went back to the scroll, and kept reading.

Ark then read something about a ''Dynamic entry'' which the scroll described it as ''A move that forwards all of your power, like a hawk to a rat.'' Ark smiled, and was even more eager to learn this new jutsu. He went to the same tree, and did what the scroll said. ''Move far away from your object, dash, then raise your leg to chest level of the object.'' Ark did the same position as before, and then dashed towards the tree. He raised his leg and yelled ''Dynamic Entry!''
Ark then instantly went through the tree, breaking it in half. Ark landed, and smiled with joy. ''This jutsu is so easy! and effective!'' Ark said as he looked at the broken tree. ''I will master this in no time'' he said again, but just to make sure, he looked at a rock. Harder and bigger. This would be a real challange.

Ark came back the next day, still seeing the rock there. He passed by it when he was going to help with the fireworks, but when it was his break, he went and trained. He stared at the rock, trying to focus as hard as he could. Ark walked backwards a bit, and did the same position as he had done before. Maybe he would personalize his stance later, but he went by what the scroll said. He then dashed towards the rock, jumped up, and threw up his leg. If he made a hit, he had anouther move that he was going to combine with it.
Ark hit the rock. It was a close to missing, but Ark still hit it fairly hard. After he hit the rock, and jumped off it, he then put up his right hand and pointed out his index and middle fingure. ''Shunshin no jutsu!'' he said in the air.

Ark focused as much chakra as he could and said ''Shunshin no jutsu!'' and Ark immedently swifted to the other side of the rock. As he flew forward towards the rock again, he threw out his leg to hit it again. If Ark hit again, he had made a killer combo.

Ark had sure hit it way better than before. He slammed against the rock, and nearly cracked it. He then landed on the ground, and looked at the damage. For Ark to even chip off some of the rock was amazing. He smiled again. ''I really really like this Taijutsu! Konoha, you're brillient!'' Ark went back to the scroll, and continued to read. There were many many more moves to learn.

Maiko walked into the canyon and sat down near a barren tree, waiting for Reck and Ren to show up for their first training session as student and pupils. She was a little early, so she'd have to wait a while. For the time being, she pulled a kunai out of her pocket and began drawing in the dirt with it.

Ark walked into the badlands again, and saw the other jounin, Maiko. He walked up to her and waved. ''So what are you here for?'' he asked. He sat down next to her, and looked up to the sky. ''It sure is nice out'' he finished.
((Oh, and besc I noticed that your stats are still a little ''out of wack'' If you wanted me to fix them up, i would be glad to.))

((hey arcy, can ya help me out with my H.p. and C.p. because i need to firgure those out a.s.a.p. and you c an help me i think! i will p.m. them to ya when you are on and read this post! oh and i just visited the system forum and this is what i found:
H.P:Your hit points this will be found out using 10+your constitution modifier.
Cp: Your chakra points this will be found out using 3+ your chakra modifier. ))

((heheh fixed oh and this is the canyon arc!))
navalie walked into the canyon once more this time to train so she could prepare for the chuunin's. she then looked around and decided this would be a great place to start her warm up's. she then stretched her legs far out and then brought them back. she then started to plunge forward to start running around the canyon. she then ran around the canyon as fast as she could with the weights on her waist. she then started counting her laps. "1,2,3........................." and she stopped counting and began counting in her head.
she then looked around her and saw two people, arc and maiko. she then came to an immediate halt and waited for their re-actions. she plopped herself on the ground and began pushing herself up. she totally forgot she had the belt on and her first push up she almost fell face flat because of the heaviness. she then got back up and decided that wasn't the best choice she had so she then decided that she needed to learn at least something and quick. she then looked around and saw a large rock that she could plunge at. she then began to plunge her fist at the rock not knowing how hard it was and remebering the last time she had done this exersize. she then punched the rock and when her hand made contact it started to sting. she didn't care although and she continued her long training that started. she then punched her other hand and continued punching the rock until she couldn't do it anymore. she then began kicking the rock as hard and fast as she could and then she stopped.
