Hearing and watching all the little children get so excited about the sights and treasures all about the ruins as they delved deeper, and deeper, Iron was almost fascinated by them. In a way... he felt akin to the younger babs, so in awe like he tended to be when he was shown a whole new side of life. Even the simplest things like dance, or the wonderfulness of cuddling....
His attention his pulled back to his little trio when Thomas speaks up, his own eyes lighting and glistening when the gem is presented. Shocked that something so precious and valuable could be found, he stepped towards the naga, adjusting his spectacles in usual fashion, "Wow that's quite beautiful..." if only he had his gem appraising kit with him..... but something did seem a little off about it... Leaning in probably far too much, as if hoping to get a better look, he muttered softly, "It would look quite lovely on Ama..." mostly just thinking aloud.
As he was about to continue fawning over the treasure, as well as praise Thomas for his discovery, a sudden dark shadow zipped into the sides of his vision, before bumping into his leg. Stumbling a little, the demon looked down to see a terrified looking vespercat. Shocked, Iron bent down to carefully gather up the poor thing, "My what's gotten you so frightened, little one?"

quoting you just in case! Feel free to reply when ever you can. Leave no one behind! <3
Thomas grinned at Iron as he leaned in to examine the stone. His smile flickered slightly when the demon mentioned an 'Ama' again, but hardly phased him."If ya want it for ya flame, you can have it,"He offered genuinely. Seeing Iron lift up a startled vespercat he cocked a brow, shooting the familiar by his own tail a sidelong stare."They got a familiar convention goin' on or somethin'?"He asked with a chuckle. He was about to put a hand out to pat the vespercat when he felt something brush past his back. His quick reflexes caused his head to snap around immediately, but there was only wall behind him. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he slowly turned back to Iron, the eyes on his hips now focused squarely behind him.
As they continued on, Thomas was distracted by the children running around everywhere and the coatl now playing with his tail, he entirely missed Arthur getting away from the group. When he finally did look up to find the pair of demons, he noticed one was missing."Fella must have gotten lost studying something or other,"He mused. After a while, Tom finally heard the third companion come back to them. When the demon explained about following and whispering, Tom tried his best not to react expressively. It was a peculiar tale, but should he react with typically spooky "if I didn't do it, who did?" line, or pretend he had, in fact, done it. Deciding on the former - just for the drama of it all - he let his face contort into one of confusion and surprise."I've been here the whole time, prof,"He stated innocently, nodding to Iron for back-up,"Guess the excitement is getting to you, huh? Because if I wanted to whisper in your ear, I wouldn't be the one running away,"He oozed, leaning in closer as his voice dropped to a whisper near the end of the sentence. Although at the back of his mind, he couldn't help but think of that 'brush' he'd felt earlier. Was there some kid playing pranks or something?

By the time he managed to find someone, Cyril was not quite running, but it definitely wasn’t walking. He saw the familiar light green hair and felt a surge of unexpected relief. Someone he knew—marginally—and someone in general. “J-J—“ he’d planned on calling out her name and slowing down before he hit her, but something fouled his feet and suddenly everything was falling.
He blinked a few times, dazed, and realized he was no longer holding his vespercat. Jacintha was on the ground, and there was a weight on his back. “S-sorry, d-did I hurt you?” he asked, fearful, all thoughts of whatever was in the ruins gone. “I-I don’t know what tripped me.” The answer was obvious as a coatl hissed, untangled itself, and slid out of sight. His patterns were flashing something bright and rapid, embarrassment though she couldn’t read it. The blush that marred his face however, as he scrambled to get up and help her up, probably showed that well enough though.
Reaching around to grab his vespercat off his back, he was surprised when he got an armful of brown jackalope. “O-oh. . . ?” he made a confused noise. A soft meow came from below him. Ah, there was his new vespercat.

Aurora ended up with a chaperone checking on her again and being healed again since she was clearly a very clumsy grimm today. She wondered if she should take some classes to try and improve her agility. She got up and started off again after thanking the other chaperone for helping her yet again. She felt like a fool though she was supposed to be helping others instead she was falling all over herself in these ruins. She sighed and started looking for the exit so she could get back to the carriage before she made more a fool of herself.
Coco smiled at Kayla Sue and said "Of course I don't mind if you eat your lunch. I already ate mine." She said softly then said down in front of Kayla Sue. Then she felt like something touched her back. She shivered and turned looking around wondering what all these feelings were and what caused them. There seemed to never be an answer to the spooky feelings. She turned back to Kayla Sue and shivered again. "Another spooky feeling, I really want to know what it is, or maybe your right and it's just the feel of these ruins, jumping at shadows." She laughed nervously.

Vüsala looked between his arm and the completely empty area behind and next to him. There was a cut, small but bleeding a bit, on his arm. There was absolutely nothing that could have cut him. His coatl was currently using his horns as a post to get a better view so it couldn’t have been him.
With a small scoff, he pulled his bag around and pulled out the first aid kit he’d brought. There were band-aids in there that he could use. They might be Hallow’s Eve themed, but he didn’t mind. Kanda liked them, so he used them. Thankfully that was rarely.
Bandaged, not that it had been much of a wound, just that he’d wanted it covered, he put his things away and strode back to the beginning of the ruins. As expected, many of the students were already there or working their way there. He kept an eye out for his companions and his daughter. He hadn’t seen any of them on the way in, so they must have gone down different paths. Funny, he hadn’t noticed when he’d drifted from them.

Ok, the statue was tucked away safe in her bag and she was making her way back to the main group. Someone passing by had told her it was nearly time to go back to the bus. Kanda wasn’t taking the precise way she’d come here, but that was ok. It was a better chance to find a coatl or something else that might want to come home with her.
She kept one hand on the wall, bouncing from step to step as she eagerly looked about in the hopes that something would want to come home with her. She wasn’t approached by any of them, but she did find a spot that looked different from the rest of the carving around it. Curious, she picked at it. Just a little. To her surprise, a white arrowhead fell into her hand. Her ears perked up and she added that to her bag. She could show that to Enomu & Vega & Leto! She didn’t think any of them had an arrowhead. Unless they’d found one while she was off wandering. Well, now she just had to find them.

Aedus heard yet another strange sound he looked in the direction of the sound still wondering if ghosts were hiding from him he looked in the direction of the sounds then turned back to the other being he had been standing with. So many things to wonder, Aedus had found many familiars here but this ruin was really weird. Aedus wondered what was the cause or if he had worked himself up so much that he was paranoid and jumping at shadows. He knew he wasn't always right so that could have been the case. Aedus didn't like being wrong though it annoyed him.
While Percy was waiting for Bismae to act, yet another familiar found its way to him, appearing from a shadowy spot in the same corridor they were in. It looked ... scared? Why ... ?

2. An animal comes running out of a shadowy corridor. It looks terrified of something. You may pick 1 familiar.

Odessa tilted her head when she started hearing voices, someone else must have been close. She smiled a little and started to head in that direction. As she did, however, she came across a familiar that was staring in that direction. She mused, stepping forward, "Is your owner in the other room, Little guy?" She whispered, making it so only the familiar could hear her. When it looked back toward the area again she smiled and gently lifted the familiar into her arms. "Let's go find them then." She then started to head in that direction, hoping it wouldn't be too difficult to find its master.
As she rounded the corner, she saw a cute little Grimm freshling. She smiled as the snake in her hands made a sound and gestured toward the child. She nodded and walked toward the kid, "I think this coatl wants to be your familiar." She leaned down, letting the creature from her hands as it slithered toward the freshling.

Kiessi gave a small smile, glad that the jackalope had found who it was looking for. They gave a brief nod, "It's better to be lost together than alone, right?" He hoped the Elf wouldn't mind him coming along. When he asked if they thought the tunnels were haunted, Kiessi stopped to consider for a moment before slowly agreeing. "I don't know much about hauntings, but a lot of my family believe in ghosts, I've never given it much thought... But I suppose it's true. There has been a lot of strange things happening..." They continued walking until they felt their feet touch something. They blinked and looked down to see a few coins scattered on the ground.

Cass was trying to find his way back to the rest of the group when he came across some puddles in the dips on the ground. He mused, not sure how the water got there since up until now mostly everything had been dry and hot. He walked toward one of the puddles when he noticed that there was something in one of them. He reached down and pulled up a snake statue. It was pretty odd and strangely made, but he supposed it was, in fact, a snake. He carefully dried it off and set it into his backpack, covering it with a blanket so that it would have less of a chance to break.
Kanda’s ears perked up as she heard someone coming from behind her. She must be heading in the right direction then! She paused, grabbing her notebook and a small pencil out of her bag just in case the other person wanted to talk. To her surprise and delight, a pretty geist came around the corner and she had a coatl in her hands. A coatl that wanted to be her familiar? The white snake statue must have been some sort of call to it then!
Accepting the coatl gently and draping her around Kanda’s neck like she’d seen Vega do, she quickly wrote in her notebook. ”Oh, thank you SO MUCH. My name is Kanda and I picked up one of the snake statues earlier, it must have been why the coatl wanted to be my friend. I’ve been looking around for one for forever!” Forever might have been an exaggeration, but it didn’t feel like it to her.

Aurora shook her head she wasn't hungry and she wasn't sure this time, she felt silly since it seemed like the other chaperones thought that she would have hurt herself again so soon and came to check on her yet again. Aurora wanted to bang her head on one of the ruin walls, she felt like such a dork. She was getting hurt so much that she was marked as someone who needed to be checked on often. How humiliating. Aurora sighed and continued on with what she was doing trying to find her way back to the carriage to sit and wait.
