By the time she reached the end of the test Miera’s tail was twitching and her ears were laid back against her head. She knew she hadn’t done well on the first few questions, I mean really, the biggest part of the brain was the brain- She’d choked. But it got better as she went or so she thought. She knew she’d misspelled some things but it was close enough, she hoped. With a sigh she turned the test over signifying that she was done, there was no sense going over it when she’d already done her best.

Jamie chewed on his pencil as he took in the questions on the test. This was all about squishy bits inside him. He scribbled a few answers, occasionally stopping to poke himself in the area that was describe as if it would help give him the answer.
He erased and answered and paused a bit to poke at his skin, pondering at its size and suppose layers and kept writing onward. He finished not really sure but it was done and all the questions had been answered.

Tsvetan sighed as he looked down at his paper. Science was not the most important thing in his mind, but he knew he needed to pass it. Thankfully he had found time to study, and this didn't look too hard.

Jango had to copy off Fredrich. It was a risky move to copy off the son of the teacher, but Jango was too concerned about not passing his class to really care too much about taking a risk.

Fredrich knew that Jango would need to copy off his test. His friend didn't have a science mind. Not many kids their age did. Fredrich was happy to let his friend copy his answers down, so long as his mum didn't catch him helping someone cheat.

Response: Well, of course Lilly was going to pick the best element! ”Met-Ment… Meit-near-e-um. Meitnerium,” Lilly tried out. It was a very hard word to say and she frowned over the word before shrugging her shoulders. ”The symbol is Mt and it has the atomic number of 109,” she announced proudly, glad that she remembered at least that much. This was tough, this science stuff.
”Ummm…” she paused, looking down at her notes. ”It’s synthetic… which means it’s not natural?” she added hesitantly, glancing up at the teacher’s face to see if there was any signs of whether or not she was right. She wiggled a bit. She didn’t really like this assignment, afterall. ”It’s also radio active,” Lilly blurted out. Really, though, she had no idea what it meant to be radio active. That just sounded weird. Did it turn on radios?

Response: Even though she was now a senior, Cider was still not a fan of speaking out in front of the class. So when she was tasked with researching and presenting her topic, she sighed, opting to turn in a paper instead…perhaps even pleading a sore throat to get out of speaking. She had never faked sick before…so she figured it might work at least once in her life. The Element that she had chosen was Astatine, and drawing out a pen, the hybrid began slowly writing out all of the information that she had gathered about it.
Astatine is a highly unstable element which has a half life of only eight hours, with this half life being judged by the most stable isotope. Even the name itself detonates how the element is unstable, as it is derived from the word 'astatos', meaning unstable. The element is very highly radioactive and serves no purpose, either biological or natural, save for being used as a research item.
…So it wasn’t a very good or detailed paper…but there honestly wasn’t much information on Astatine…so she did the best she could, and quietly moved to the front of the room, laying the paper on the teachers desk, still hoping she could get out of speaking in front of the class.

Response: Vígdís stared at her notes, cleared her throat and started speaking. “I have Zinc, number 30 on the periodic table. Zinc is the 24th most abundant element in Earth's crust. It is a bluish-white, lustrous, diamagnetic (I think that means it can be a magnet) metal, though most commonly the metal has a dull finish.” She looked around the class to see if everyone was paying attention before continuing. “Zinc is a fair conductor of electricity. For a metal, zinc has relatively low melting (419.5 °C) and boiling points (907 °C). Another cool thing is that Zinc burns in air with a bright bluish-green flame.” Víg nods to herself in satisfaction and sits back down at her desk.

Response: Habushu nervously stood up, pulling his sweater away from his neck as he stared down at his paper. “I have Livermorium, it’s number 116 on the periodic table and is a synthetic chemical element. It is an extremely radioactive element that has only been created in the laboratory and has not been observed in nature. It is the heaviest chalcogen, although it has not been confirmed to behave as the heavier homologue to the chalcogen polonium.” He sits back down, all information that he found that he could sort of understand now exhausted. He clicks his nails on his desk as he panics, hoping he’d said enough to satisfy the teacher.
