Overwhelmed summed up the Senshi of Cherry Blossoms right about now. Not that she hadn't been before but this was perhaps the worst right now. So much was going on and though she'd managed an attack Laurelite to help Ganymede out she'd been thrown when screams had started.
Perhaps because of Ganymede's power? She didn't really understand it but a lot of people on both sides were affected. And it only served to heighten in her inability to focus currently.
Maybe that was how she ended up in front of the General Queen, brown eyes wide in surprise. She wouldn't stand a chance... Maybe she could get away before she was noticed?
She certainly hoped so. With a quick about face, the pink clad senshi moved to run.

Altais - Basic of Shockwaves
Altais was all about to be like, kick to the face for the lieutenant and stuff but then the man was on the ground, rolling in pain and the Senshi had no idea what was going on. Apparently some massive wave from somewhere?
Didn't matter to him though, cause then he could move back over to Denebola and Corvus and Celsus.
"Is he okay?" Altais looked around, "Sh...Should I keep fighting?"
His stomach dropped as he watched Ganymede collapse against Val. Not again, please, not again. He stalked his way back over to Valhalla and Ganymede, and for a moment, he ignored the battles and chaos around him and just stared at the blonde woman. Reaching up, fingers curled into the brown cape that hung loosely off his shoulders. Valhalla's, he now realized. How he had missed that was beyond him. The squire pulled it from his shoulders numbly, and wrapped it around the princess.
His princess. His family. His sister.
Alex's hand slipped back into the little Jovian pouch on his hip, where he pulled out two more vials and handed them off to Valhalla with shakey fingers. "I'm going to do something stupid." He warned, his gaze slipping to Valhalla. "She's not going to be happy with me. Please, just get her out of here. Get yourself, out of here. Use those again, if you need them."
Alexandria's gaze shifted towards Laurelite, before flitting back Ganymede. "If... If I don't..." Alex paused, his lips forming into a thin line. Valhalla would understand what he meant, even if he didn't say it. "I'm sorry, alright? Can you tell her I'm sorry?"
With that he left the pair there, stalking off towards the General Queen. If he didn't die here, he'd likely live to regret it in the morning. Alexandria pointed his key at her, and twisted.

Oops I did it again. I messed with your head.
Squire: Somewhat Larger Key - About the size of a standard sword/blade. The head of the key would be ornate enough that he could use it like a hilt (Think Kingdom Hearts if you have too) Spell: Unlock the Path to Knowledge
Effect - By thrusting his key into the air (think of it as aiming the key for a keyhole only he can see) and twisting it, Alexandria can distract his opponent with an outpouring of knowledge and trivia. Think of it as a mix of the Micro Machines spokesman combined with those Bing! commercials. At this stage, he can only use knowledge that he, personally, knows and the effects last 15-30 seconds and produce a mild disorientation and/or headache in one person only.

Corrupt Eternal Sailor Cyllene -- who knows wtf she is doing at this point
You have to go.
Cyllene shook her head slowly at the Princess in defiance. She respected Ganymede, and would do anything to help... But running away wasn't an option. Running away didn't help anyone.
The blonde wanted to take a moment to bask in the warmth of Ganymede's Crystal- a feeling that she wasn't at all used to. She closed her eyes briefly before she was snapped out of her daze by a hand that grabbed a fistful of hair and yanked her roughly up to her feet. She was pulled back against the General and his words made her cringe.
"Beni, please," she pleaded with him. "I went willingly," hot tears threatened to spill again, but Cyllene refused to cry here. Not now. "I joined the Negaverse willing. Forcing that poor girl... That isn't right. I couldn't let her."
Her breath caught in her throat when Azurite suddenly appeared and threatened Benitoite. At any other moment, Cyllene would have shrieked with joy at seeing her; Azurite was her person and she made things better. But threatening a General? Cyllene was only afraid that would end up getting her killed and it would be her fault and she would never forgive herself.
"Oh no. No, no, no. Az this is my fault and I deserve it. It's okay, really," she tried to convince herself as much as she tried to convince the other Corrupt Senshi.
Between the two of them, Cyllene glanced over Azurite's shoulder at Ganymede. A sigh of relief escaped her as Harmonia's fuku returned to its white color and the screaming finally stopped. Her attention was quickly returned to Azurite, however, when she heard Laurelite's command. "Az, you have to listen to her, don't get yourself killed. Let him go."
Then Ganymede collapsed against Valhalla and Cyllene screamed again because dramatic was something that she definitely was. "Ganymede!!" She struggled against Benitoite and his grip in her hair like a feral cat, screaming and thrashing. "Let go! I have to get her out of here!"
The general had gone; was retreating, and Celsus took the opening without entirely knowing what he was doing. He cast a glance over at Denebola, Corvus and Altais, and the expression on his pale face was pained; he could not have said how sorry he was in words, though he knew it showed anyway.
And then he was running, stumbling, staggering through the people that were fighting, pushing his way through the crowds, Celsus's heartbeat loud in his ears. He couldn't do anything, he knew this; he knew that even making an attempt was pointless and that he was hardly worth it all (inadequate and pathetic, whispered his mind); but he couldn't simply stand by and do nothing.
(Hadn't Bifrost called him a coward? Hadn't that Ganymede knight called him stupid for not wanting to fall in line with his plans? Could he do nothing right at all?)
He passed the others, moved from the clusters of senshi and knights and Chaos agents and was in front of Laurelite now, and the whip was in hand. Celsus had not stopped moving, and now he swung his arm back and then forward again as hard as he could, the whip cracking through the air and towards the General Queen with the sound of a gunshot. His feet slid into position to brace himself against the movement, teeth gritted against the swell of nausea and dizziness in his head.
He felt satisfied by the blossom of red against the knight's uniform, but it wasn't enough, not nearly enough. Aurostibite shifted his feet, and twisted aside, but not in time to dodge the swing of the man's scales once more. They crashed painfully hard against his skull, and it felt like it was splitting open beneath the hard metal, stars ghosting in front of Aurostibite's vision as he staggered.
There was an urge to throw up; he bit it back, refocused his hazy eyes, and turned them towards the knight.
"Big weapon for a little man," he said in a low voice as he advanced forward with slow movements. "Do you feel strong, knight?"
He was letting himself be dragged further and further away from the battle; from the people, from his team, from everyone. But Thrymr could not have pulled away even if he'd wanted to; he felt utterly locked in place, his fingers still curled loosely around the hand that was currently twisted in the front of his uniform.
And then they were out of sight, and Thrymr found himself alone - and a second later, pushed roughly, his back hitting the stone wall that surrounded the castle. The man was much taller than he was; Thrymr found himself blocked off, his heartbeat erratic in his ears, blue eyes wide as he stared up at him. His hands had risen automatically in a gesture of submission, and now, with the general as close as he was, they were barely an inch from his stomach.
His head was spinning. Thrymr swallowed painfully hard.
"Thrymr," he whispered. "My name is - is Thrymr."
He did not know why he was telling the truth, but he felt as though the words were coming out without him intending to. A pale pink flush had decorated his cheeks, ebbing over his face and the few freckles that dotted his nose.
"We - we snuck in here, I don't - I don't know how - " Thrymr stammered. "Please - "
She had been gone from the battlefield for too long. It had been four and a half years since the Surrounding and for all that she liked to talk the talk about what it meant to fight it had been that long since she had walked the walk. One didn't simply forget how to prepare for something like this, did they?
No. That was something she was certain she would never forget, but she hadn't been prepared. Prepared to wait? Prepared to defend? Yes, always. Prepared for this?
Her heart swelled and she felt panic closing in, losing sight of the three that she had entered the portal with. They had all raced down to join the fray and then she had lost sight of them. Denebola had taken off after Celsus and then -- Everything was so loud; so many bodies, so much screaming and she didn't know where anyone was.
Corvus spotted Altais first with a Lieutenant writhing at his feet. She closed in on him in time to hear his question, barely listening as she continued to scan the battlefield. A flash of white, a tuft of ginger hair. Not Dene... "Celsus!"
Her voice wouldn't reach him, not at this distance; not through all of the chaos and screams. She wasn't close enough to stop him and she didn't see Denebola anywhere near him either. Corvus watched as he drew his whip back and let it crack, uncertain as to whether or not she would be able to watch whatever the General Queen did to him for that.
"Stupid -- stupid!" She stomped her foot, reaching back to snag Altais by the wrist. "Leave him! We have more important things to do than kick a soldier while he's down. Celsus is going to get himself killed. We have to help him! We have to find Dene!"
He knew it was dangerous. Even without Gevaudan shouting at him to fight, Valhalla knew how risky it was to watch as the chaos was forced out of this girl’s starseed. Part of it was his own need to understand what happened to him almost a year ago. If he could figure out some clue as to how to fix the damage that had been done to his own starseed…
Valhalla kept his arm around Ganymede’s back as she continued to force the chaos back out. Around him he knew the battle was still going on. He could hear Cyllene refuse to leave, even with Benitoite’s approach. Azurite appeared as well, to aid Cyllene?
Finally, at long last, Ganymede managed to stop Harmonia’s corruption, and he let out a relieved sigh. But it didn’t last long, and he felt a weight against him as Ganymede shifted back to her Eternal fuku, and collapsed.
“Ganymede!” he called out to her as he tightened his grip, holding desperately to her and trying to get her to wake up. It was no use; she was out cold. Valhalla quickly lifted a hand to her neck to make sure she still had a pulse, and then that she was still breathing, before pulling her closer to him. He shifted so he could put his arm under her legs and lift her up. He winced, the wounds he’d received from Apatite still fresh, but hoisted Ganymede up into his arms. He was careful with her head, making sure she had it rested against his neck, holding her as much as he could with only his good arm.
“Alex! Dont’!” he called after the other in alarm as the knight put the cape around Ganymede’s shoulders and pushed a couple more vials into his hand. “Alex, no!” he yelled, his face losing whatever color it had left. He needed help. He had Ganymede to carry, but also Harmonia! He couldn’t just leave her.
The sound of a gunshot caught his attention, and Valhalla’s head snapped up to see Celsus standing before the General Queen as well. One after another, he could see the people he cared about putting their lives in danger.
Gev was right. They needed to get out. Valhalla looked to Babylon, hoping that the other would collect Harmonia. If not, he would just have to figure out a way to carry them both.
“Let’s get out,” he said with a nod to Babylon and Gevaudan. Passed out, Ganymede wouldn’t be able to argue if he made sure she got through the portal and he went back to help get the others out.
It had been suggested that they wait before going out there, stay hidden behind the boulders and see if a better opening, a better opportunity, a less risky point in time might present itself because there were so many, so much they were up against, had to face to reach the portal and return home. Aptera had seen the point presented, acknowledged that they seemed to be far more inexperienced, less formidable in their present states than those who stood in their way. She was calm by habit on the outside for the most part apart from her gaze darting this way and that frantically while they endeavored to keep hidden at this time. However, while she watched all that transpired with a dread that heaped and heaped upon itself, her mind was scrambling to decide what to do.
Then the voice of the senshi hiding with her who had been helping her with carrying the load of starseeds among those that were rescued came again through the silence between them and alerted her she was not the only one feeling at a loss for what exactly should be done. There was a change of mind, the starseeds would just be a hindrance and help was required. They discussed with urgency their differences in thoughts then. Aptera understood and yet leaving the starseeds was not an option she wanted to choose, felt that she should choose. If there was any chance to get out of here with the starseeds in tow, she wanted to take it instead. And with that, the two of them parted ways. The senshi had charged in to join the battle as Aptera called, "Just, one more thing, I just want to say please take care of yourself." Smiles mixed with many emotions acknowledging the dire circumstances taking place were hastily exchanged on both ends and soon Aptera had lost track of who had left her now with the load of starseeds.
Sailor Altair
Endless, all this fighting before her now seemed endless. There had been a cluster of boulders she had hidden herself behind for the most part subconsciously since she did not remember right now when she had arrived and positioned herself here. It had been a struggle traversing the terrain back to this point after making it out of the academy. She did not know if it was being jarred with after effects following the fall, the scrapes she felt stinging her knees now that she had received on the way down and down then, both, or for other reasons, but she cared little now about her physical state than what she was witnessing before her eyes.
Then voices broke her concentration on the scenes of fighting. There were two voices she could gather. Had they been there before she got here or after she arrived? One of them, she felt she recognized, heard before. And then a senshi had darted out of the cluster of boulders and looked back at someone who she assumed was the owner of the other voice that spoke out once more to the leaving party, the more familiar voice; and then that senshi had gone and blended into all the discord.
She sniffled then, and realized she had been silently crying as she watch all this, all the combat, all the suffering. She had felt exhausted after managing to get this far and then she had paused where she was now, but, really, they all had to get to the portal, get back home! She had to get out there as well and help find a way to leave this place!
She sent a silent prayer of thankfulness that she had regained some strength as opposed to otherwise as she witness horror after horror here. She needed to make good use of this energy that returned to her. When she approached from behind in a crouch, she was trying to place where she had seen before the figure who had was also hiding. She tried to speak, but found her throat dry and cleared it.
Castor Page Aptera
She gasped and then her vision snapped to quickly move to who was behind her. Her narrowed gaze took another instant to soften and the fist she formed relaxed slightly as she let the tension that seized her form to get between the starseeds and the source of the sound subside somewhat for now. "Aren't, aren't you, you're Altair, correct?" In her mind Aptera sighed in frustration at her struggle with words but then brushed such petty annoyances at herself aside to focus again on the bigger picture.
Sailor Altair
"Yes, m-my apologies I didn't mean to s-startle you," she felt envy that her name was recollected but she had not managed to remember the other's name though remembered now a group introduction occurring before groups set out in divisions for three different missions. But she felt that now was not the time to focus on an attempt to succeed at a full recollection of her own. "Are those t-the starseeds, I-I happened to overhear, you were talking about? May I-I help you with them a-and we can try to g-go out there with everyone to get b-back home and out of t-this place?" She put as much optimism as she could into a smile along with next adding, "Let-let's get home with everyone." And then she moved to offer to help lift the starseeds with Aptera.
Castor Page Aptera
"Alright," Aptera gave a nod as she pulled a first aid kid out of her pocket and handed it to Altair before lifting her side of their hold on the load of starseeds after a moment of checking that Altair was ready, "Thank you for your offer to help and when we are back home and safe, that may come in handy to treat the wounds on your knees. Let's go." And then they were off.
Sailor Altair
Altair gave a nod in kind to express her gratitude as she made quick work of pocketing the first aid kit she had been given and also helping with lifting the starseeds. They raced forward in a matter of seconds and were quickly confronted still. "Kyaaaa!" she had kicked a large lizard-shaped youma on the nose, but it quickly recovered and lashed out at her again. She had barely managed to dodge the snap of the reptile's teeth while willing herself to stay on her feet and keep a secure hold of the starseeds she was helping support and protect.
Castor Page Aptera
They had stayed on there feet alright, somehow, but they had gone down to a crouching position after staggering. Aptera picked up the stone she had nearly tripped on, glad it filled her palm's hold but she could maneuver it still with one hand and she quickly threw it at the reptile youma. "Let's not stick around it and aim to keep moving forward," she addressed Altair as she followed through with the address quickly by breaking into a run.
Sailor Altair
"Yes, o-okay," Altair gave a sharply executed nod in urgency as her response then ran forward in time with Aptera as she took note in her peripheral vision while passing it that the reptile youma seemed presently preoccupied in attempts at shaking perhaps some pieces of the shattered stone that had hit it in the face out of its vision.
((Aptera and Altair are open for interactions.))

Lt. Prehnite - Down, but not out!
Prehnite would later lament how poorly that had gone. At the moment he was busy getting his bearings again. Listening to muffled voices and distant screams as his initial prey was pulled out of sight by what looked like an Eternal Senshi. Probably the best for both of them. Prehnite was in no shape to have defended himself...
With the other Knight out of sight, what was the point? Later, he'd find them all, and later, pay them back for this. Even if they hadn't been the one's to cast that particular magic, they were still part of it. The cause of all the chaos..Needless deaths.. "Ow.." It was hard enough to get his breath back and his legs underneath himself again without feeling disoriented. "********, evil skirt magic." Pissed about being so weak, but relieved as the burning began to fade.
Nothing looked to be over though. Youma were pouring in at Laurelites command, but the ranks appeared to be thinning. The Senshi and Knights at the center of it all still a real threat. He needed to check in with the others, regroup; he wasn't running into that mess alone. It was easy enough to call up the crystal and check, put a message out at least. "Xenotime mam? Pigtails? You two alive out there..." They had to be alright, had to be.
Suddenly anxious as he scanned the crowds, searching for the telltale flash of Ochres orange braids, or the General herself. They couldn't be to far.

Super Goretti, Chibi Senshi of Glue
Goretti had seen battle. Not like this, exactly, but he'd seen battle.
And he didn't like it.
Suddenly, all thoughts of wanting to get stronger faded. He was standing in an open cavern, battle raging on all sides, and yet he felt entirely alone. He could see the faces of his friends—or, at least, people he recognized. But they blurred into shadows and all meshed together. He saw youma—a lot of youma.
Like, a neverending swarm of youma. The portal was right up on the hill, hidden behind mounds of rocks and he knew that. It would have been a quick run, not even a minute.
If it weren't for the youma and agents blocking nearly every path. And they kept moving.
He tried, once, to run past them—to just push right past them all and duck and run and weave and charge. He'd bounced off the second youma he'd hit and wound up sprawled on the ground when he realized that might have been a little too dangerous considering all of the precious cargo he was carrying. He clutched his case of starseeds closer, and held one hand protectively over the stash he had stuffed in the extra fabric wrapped around his middle.
He didn't want to fight, but he wanted to get out.
But he couldn't get out without fighting.
He just sucked at it, beyond sticking people to the ground with glue and kicking at them. And he was having a hard time doing even just that.
He didn't know what he'd been expecting. Not blood. Not death. In his head, this had all been just some easy fantasy—go in, slay the monster, get out and live happily ever after. Oh—and power up to impress a girl, of course.
And to make right all the mistakes he'd made so far.
The starseeds seemed heavier now, as if they were reminding him of their presence. Jolting him back into reality.
This wasn't just about him standing around, watching as people got hurt—died. He had these starseeds to worry about, too. He had to protect them, and get them home. To somewhere safe.
But he couldn't get out without fighting..
And, for them, he had all the motivation he needed to get moving again.
Not just for himself. Not just because he didn't want to let down his friends, or hurt his family if he didn't come home.
But also because he had who knows how many starseeds weighing him down—and they'd already lost so much. And been lost to so many people. He wasn't going to let them down.
A youma shoved into Goretti hard enough to almost topple him over, jostling him out of his thoughts—but right back into the battle. He let out a startled yelp and had reacted as best he could: Goretti started kicking every chaos aligned enemy that came close enough for his foot to reach.
Unless they were too big.
He ran away if they were too big.

Centisima, Senshi of Centipedes
Centisima didn’t know how to help to help or what to do. There was no wound or blood, it was just magic coursing through her and that would need to end on its own. The battle was dangerously close and he didn’t have time to wait for her to get over it. Careful to avoid her antlered tiara, he curled an arm around her back and hook another under her legs.
“You can help later,” the words came out in a hurry, he was already up, cradling her in his arms and moving away from the holy s**t acid rain that was falling. A drop hit his upper arm and sizzled there. He moved at a fast trot, away from the worst of the fight and then turned back to watch as Ganymede faltered.
“Wings is down,” he murmured. It was stunning, the sight of so many senshi fighting, giving everything they had. There was a sense of pride there as well. Centisima looked down at the girl in his arms, hoping that with Ganymede down the pain of the attack would be over. “What do you want to do?”
"Look, Altair, look there!" Aptera slowed suddenly as she caught sight of someone endeavoring to ward off youma. "Let's go over there and help," she sent a look with alarm in the depths of her eyes toward Altair's direction to accompany her words for a second before she focused her vision again on the senshi and hurriedly moved to join the stance against the threats.
Sailor Altair
"Yes, y-yes," Altair looked between Aptera and the senshi and Aptera again and back in quick succession as she paced herself so as to maintain a firm supportive hold to protect the starseeds in tow. And then she, too, moved toward the outnumbered senshi with a nod in agreement, "Let's!"
A four-legged youma seemed to have caught sight of the three of them then as it swayed forward seemingly deciding on a target and as the youma drew closer and shifted its gaze away from their group of two again and back to the senshi they were headed toward, she decided she was close enough in that instant and kicked the youma's head, surprisingly causing it to topple to its side before they ran the rest of the way toward the other senshi. "Can we team up with you?" Altair asked Goretti.

Lt. Hessite
Hessite hadn’t fought in the castle. She had hidden instead, back pressed against a cold stone wall and tears making tracks down her cheeks. When it was finished, she’d slowly made her way to the main hall where the bulk of the fighting had taken place. She had walked slowly through the dead, helped those who were wounded and cried over the bloodshed. This was horrible. Why had they come here? Why had they wanted to kill her family?
The lieutenant had never seen death so close. There had been her grandfather when she was fifteen, a slow death of cancer in the hospital, but even that was sterile compared to this. This was raw and brutal and she wasn’t sure she could handle it. The ground she walked was slick with blood. She wasn’t sure she could defend the Negaverse if this was what the enemy was capable of.
Eventually she had stumbled down to the battlefield, where the fight still raged on. The General-Queen was terrifying in her proficiency at death. More corpses littered the ground but the aura of Order was still bright, sickeningly strong. Hessite wasn’t sure where to be or what to do. Her whisk was clutched to her chest, useless.
It was a horrible, gut wrenching surprise when she saw the child. He had just avoided the grasp of a youma.
“Wait, wait, stop! You shouldn’t be here!” He was a senshi but he was so young. Surely they couldn’t kill the children. She skidded to a halt when the child was suddenly joined by two Order members. They were both woman and didn't look that strong.
Then there was the youma. It wouldn't do anything to her but it also wouldn't listen. So all she could do was stop and stare, whisk held awkwardly and her instinct to protect extending to that young senshi.

Captain Sanidine
Captain Sanidine was not here because he wanted to be here, he was here because he had to be. Because being at the castle wasn't enough, apparently.
He wasn't even in a great condition to be fighting—much as he loved the opportunity to slam somebody's face into the dirt—but he wasn't the sort to just back out of a fight. Not if he could handle at least making an appearance.
He didn't care that a General Queen had died. It had been unnerving, in thought and practice, but he didn't know her, and she certainly wasn't the first person he'd seen die.
She was just, you know. The first person he'd seen explode. He was pretty sure he had a scale or two stuck in his jacket, but he hadn't had time to check.
Right now the plan was, apparently, attack the intruders.
So, Sanidine went at it with only as much effort as he needed to in order to make it look like it wasn't a half-assed effort.
He hadn't killed anybody. Not yet. In fact, he wasn't even sure he planned to kill anybody.
He had arrived late to the battle; it was by choice. He lingered in the castle for just long enough that it looked like he was trying to tend to something, but not long enough to arouse suspicion. The youma had surprisingly accusatory eyes.
He had almost teleported home.
But, instead, the call of duty—and nosiness—had landed him here.
Still, he enjoyed the rush of battle. He had no problem with knocking a few people around, but even he knew his limits.
He didn't plan on killing anyone tonight.
Unless he recognized him from the kidnapping.
