*The doors to the Orion creaked open slowly and a familiar sillhouette made it's way into the tower. Before the color made it's way to Soneko's six foot strtcure, anybody who knew him would have been able to tell who had entered right off the bat. Also, anybody who could smell his scent or sense his aura level would have recognized his presence. He stepped through the open doors to the Orion and scanned the floor, noticing a few small puddles. Melted snow. And it hadn't been there for very long, for the scent of it's owner was still lingering. He could almost see the trail of the almost completely faded smell. He followed it, his boots thunking loudly.
He hadn't done much here for quite some time. The beginning of the year was the last time he had seen anybody from the Orion. He'd had a small run-in with Deity, but that only lasted a few moments before he had trailed off to do...Absolutely nothing, if he remembered correctly. Except for run into an over-arrogant human. The boy had some kind of powers, Soneko understood, but there was little to no threat from the boy. Either way, that was in the past and he would probably never see the stupid child anyway.
He had done a small amount of training with Silver back at his village. It was at that point when he, for no reason at all, shifted back to his semi-Sinner state. It wasn't normal, but it was better than being distorted between an angel and demon state. At least his full Sinner form was like an unholy angel. But a mix between a regular angel and demon was just a bit...Odd.
He wore his regular black long-sleeve button-up shirt, a pair of black worn-out pants with a silver circular belt buckle to help keep his pants up. But now, since he was back to normal, he had to belt up his arm again, and a long black aviator glove reaching twenty five percent of the way up his forearm.
He reached the bar to see a man with long red hair sitting, drinking something. He also saw a girl with long blue hair, seeming to be studying something.*

Valin stepped over the bodies as the fifth and final Yuuzhan Vong warrior corpse hit the ground. The more or less unscathed Jedi began walking over to the Slayer, who stood silently still.
A Slayer was deadly. In fact, they were beyond deadly. Jedi Master Kyp Durron, who was certainly one of the most powerful Jedi Masters of the new Order, could not fight even one Slayer in the late stage infection by the Alpha Red biological weapon - which basically broke down Vong biotech and the Vong themselves down on the genetic level.
Master Skywalker had been the only known that was able to defeat them. He fought and downed five of these warriors with little effort. It truly spoke of his attunement to the Force and of the family history of being the son of the Chosen One.
Valin brought up his lightsaber and the Slayer brought up his amphistaff.
"So..." Valin said in his native language Basic rather than English, "Do you understand Basic, Slayer?"
It nodded but otherwise stayed perfectly silent. It was probably doing what Valin was doing - looking for a slight drop in defenses here, an undefended part of the body there, or doing something that would make the other lose their focus for just a single moment - a moment that would cost a life.
Deeper into the Force, Valin drew himself. The world opened even more to him, the glory of life more in focus. The power of the Force flowed through him. He was the vessel for its will.
"My ally is the Force and a powerful ally it is," Said Valin. It was a bit of wisdom shared to him by Master Skywalker once - in Valin's darkest hours, Luke showed him the light.
And there it was - the gap.
Valin moved forward, striking forward with his blade of silver light. However, it just grazed the Slayer's unique armor on the left side of his neck - armor that was quite literally bounded to his skin and slightly more resistant to lightsaber blades than even the normal Vong armor. However, even a graze was enough and Valin could feel the living armor break slightly from the heat and pressure. It was a start.
The enemy Slayer immediately attempted to jab the business end of the amphistaff into and through Valin's stomach. With a bit of Force telling him where the strike was going to be milliseconds before it happened, the Jedi brought the blade to intercept, catching it, and pushing it away.
He smashed a foot into the Yuuzhan Vong's chest and with a decent amount of Force, the kick was enough to push away the Slayer. Immediately, it discarded the amphistaff to its belt and unleashed his two Steng's Talons -close combat implants of very high stature in the Vong honor code which could be extended or contracted from the forearm. In a blink of the eye, the Slayer was upon Valin.
And the Jedi withdrew his second lightsaber hilt, igniting the violet blade of light. This lightsaber had once been his lover's, Kalee. The Slayer came at him, doing small jabbing motions with the talons as it moved around Valin with incredible agility and swiftness. The Force, however, told him where the Vong would be next. Well not exactly. It couldn't sense the Vong's presence. What the Force did show him was something not in the Force being there, displacing an area once occupied by it. It was really the only way to pick out a Yuuzhan Vong - but it was harder, more consuming in energy to find something absent in the Force.
The Vong exchanged blows and Valin blocked them all. The Slayer was pushing Valin back towards a large boulder placed in the park as a decoration that children typically climbed on. As the distance finally closed with boulder, Valin found himself stuck between a rock-and-a deadly Yuuzhan Vong warrior - so he had to get out. He called upon the Force and looked deep into the rock to find imperfections in its construction... and he continued to block Vong attacks. One slipped through from lack of concentration, slicing through his robe and upper arm - creating a deep wound that bled profusely. He found the weak points of the rock, at last, as another of the talons slashed across Valin's chest, mostly destroying his robes and barely harming him.
The weak points found, Valin exerted pressure with the Force - and the boulder erupted into smoke and flying debris. This, of course, incredibly shocked the Yuuzhan Vong Slayer. It also sent more than half a dozen flying, sharp, but small stone projectiles into Valin's back, imbedding themselves there.
The warrior's shock was enough to slip in several gashes with both lightsabers. Valin performed an upward swipe with his personal silver blade that dug deep into the hard, rock-like armor. The violent blade went straight down into the Slayer's right shoulder armor and the shoulder itself, right into the body. Releasing that hilt from his grasp, the Jedi jumped up and away in the confusion.
Very few things in the universe could really stun Valin. But seeing the warrior grab the hilt of Kalee's lightsaber, pull it out his shoulder and body, and not once showing any sign of pain - that was something. The Slayer tossed the lightsaber to the ground, where it turned itself off from its failsafe. He turned around to face his Jedi enemy.
The Jedi smiled. If it had perhaps been another, weaker man, they would have said this was impossible. That this was a losing battle. That the Slayer was an unstoppable foe.
However, this was Valin Lobel. He had the Force on his side, and nothing was impossible with the Force.
And just as he thought this, the two charged towards one another.
