::After taking his glass away from his mouth, the tall Tonepian tucks his lips in gently, nodding once as he sets the cup of tea down, his other hand resting at the corner of the table. He takes a moment, but replies softly all the same.::

Mm.....we haven't had a night like this in.....

::Deity pauses, leaning his torso into the back of his chair, eyes glazing over towards his lover in idle thought. They haven't sat down for a nice meal in ages, it would seem. In all his time on Earth, the boy actually can't recall having even a single private dinner with anyone else, in fact.::

....a long time....have we?

::Giggling softly at the thought, Deity shakes his head and leans back in, sliding his right hand inwardly along the edge of the table. The movement of his hand lets his claddagh ring catch the glare of the candle flame, the same seen on his old silver locket, dangling against his chest on his shirt. Reaching for his fork and knife again, Deity suddenly realizes that he doesn't quite feel up to eating the rest of his meal. His meal only half-finished, he knows his father would get onto him, but he finds no need to eat further if he isn't hungry.

Thirst, however is another story. Reaching over and taking up the tea pitcher, Deity tips it over and refills his glass before returning it to the center of the table. Instead of taking another drink, though, he places his elbows on the table before interlocking his fingers and resting his lower jaw upon them, glistening red orbs taking the moment to admire the girl's fair features under candlelight. He says nothing more for a few seconds, his feet unhooking from around the legs of his chair. His slender legs stretch out under the table, reaching past the halfway point along the plush blue carpet, a short distance from Jade's feet.

When he finally does speak, he lifts his head only slightly from his hands, an earnest smile adorning his expression.::

....you look wonderful tonight.

She smiled softly in response to the Orinian before her. Her tail swung slowly through the back of the chair, the tip brushing against the floor at points. Most of her food was gone, and while she had controlled her eating speed, her appitite was not something to be tamed.

Her eyes watched him as he moved in his chair, soaking in his handsome looks and presence. Her smile grew slightly as she stretched out her legs a little, her feet running up alongside Deitys. It was wonderful to see him so relaxed and worry-free, if only for a few hours. No headband and no hat let her see most of his red eyes and contrasting black hair. He had hardly aged since the day she met him almost three years ago.

"So do you Love....always.."

His smile sent flutters through her heart for a moment, a rare thing to see at times from him, but something that got her everytime. Slowly, after a few more moments of foot-play, the young woman pushed her chair back a little and stood, walking from the table and towards the refridgerator near the elevator shaft.

"...Care for a little dessert, hun?"

She turned her green eyes away for a moment as she opened the fridge door, looking in at the dessert resting on the shelf, reaching in to get it.
