At first, the young Saiya-jin doesn't seem to notice Deity's precense at all, too preoccupied at the moment with the bouncing Ki ball. Each hit pushed teh ball to a slightly higher speed, making Jade keep up with it even faster. After a few more mintues of this, it was getting harder for Jade to keep up, reaching the current limit of her speed. She sent it flying towards the ring from nearly the top rafter, and went to chase after it.

Jade reached out to hit the ball back upwards again, hovering only about a foot from the ring tile as she did. But it was jsut out of her reach, her speed just a touch too slow to get her hand under it. The ball impacted the ring, disapating in a minor explosion. Jade's shoulder hit the tile, causing her to roll over it into a crouched position, her right leg stretched out slightly.

She rubbed her shoulder slighlty from the impact, letting out a heavy sigh. "...I almost had that one..."

A moment later she stood, stretching her arms above her head and looking over her shoulder to the southern end of the arena.

" Enjoyed watching Love...?" She smiled and giggled a little.

::Keeping an eye on the girl, the quiet Orinian watches each movement as closely as he can, doing as he usually does when seeing others in the middle of their training or engaged in a battle of some sort. He always tries to put himself into their position, seeing if perhaps he could fair any better then them. Though surprised she coninued as long as she did, Deity was sure that Jade's limit would be hit soon - while working on her speed for quite some time, she can only be so fast. Deity rarely sees fighters with locomotive abilities that impress him anymore. Such is a consequence of one training one's speed prominently for over one thousand years.

As she rights herself and tosses a glance in the boy's direction, Deity only smiles back to Jade, holding himself steady with is left hand, his right lifting in a two-fingered wave to his beloved. As soft as her voice is, having sensitive hearing makes it much less difficult to make out her words, especially at such a distance. Though sure that she would be able to hear his reply, he keeps silent, dropping his hand once more to his side. No doubt she could use a breather anyway. And a shower. He could, too, come to think of it.::
