"He must be stopped," Said User, who carried several tons of debris and rubble in his arms. This stuff was mostly metal parts or former steel framework of skyscrappers. It was being set aside from other debris - possibly to be smelted down, recycled, and reused.
"What do you propose?" Asked Valin. Now The Jedi had met up with the Saiya-jin many hours ago to clear the debris and find people. Using the Force, he had sensed out some lifes still trapped. Some were strong... some wouldn't make a few more hours even if he found them and got them out right away. User had informed him on what happened to this city - and now Valin understood why KenoTao had been the shatterpoint of this, he was the cause of it.
"I am going to kill him. There is no doubt about that," Said the mighty warrior as he placed the debris down - which shook the ground no matter how much he tried not to. User looked at Valin - and the trail of rubble that floated a few feet off the ground just slightly behind the human. Both men were covered in dirt, dust, and just general grime.
"He is redeemable," Valin cautioned, "From great evil can come great good. No one is beyond redemption for their crimes. Not even you, monkey man." The Jedi had sensed this particular scene had caused some personal pain or turmoil in the Saiya-jin.
"He may be 'redeemable', Jeedai, but can he be forgiven for these actions? ...Can any of us?" User said sharply and bluntly, his voice filled with anger and regret. He thought only of the little girl - she looked so much like his daughter that he had to sense her ki to just calm himself down.
Force throwing the debris into a pile, the stuff crashed into the other destruction, causing a large gray poof of smoke to fill the air for several seconds. "I don't know, User," Valin then motioned to the other people here, regular persons who had once lived here or around the urban area. "I wonder... how many of them will forgive? Few, if any at all." This was remarkably similar to when the Vong came to Coruscant and leveled most of it to dust. And even though he was a Jedi - he still didn't forgive them and even hated them.
"They will remember, though. And they will rebuild. They will become stronger from it," User said to the Knight.
"What a price to pay for inner strength. I can only hope they will find peace in the years to come. Maybe they will find the ability to forgive and accept. And maybe we will be able to find it for ourselves one day, too."
The two were silent for a long time until they both went back to work. There was still much to do.
