It is odd, to say the least.
A man who has always loathed humanity is seen amongst them, looking odd clad in his full body armor of his kind. He is there helping the species he has always looked down upon, looking for survivors... and bodies of those who had been killed so savagely.
User knew this sight all too well. Because he had caused hundreds of such familiar looking landscapes before, as well. He too had murdered for the hell of it.
That was a long time ago, though. When he was a young man, a man with his mind full of lies. A boy who thought killing weaklings was a means to work up the ranks and a way to gain honor. User has changed much over the years. He doesn't exactly regret what he did, but has decided it is not the life he wants anymore - it worked for a while, enabling him to obtain more power to defy Cooler.
The Saiya-jin Prince stopped in his traces, his nose picking up the smell of... a newly deceased body...
He lifted up a few tons of rubble to find the body... of a young girl...
No older than his own little girl...
Unbearable anger and rage began to build up inside him as he lifted the body with incredible delicacy and care.
Three words were whispered as he began to carry the poor child's body down the slope of rubble. These simple words, filled with such sorrow and saddness rather hate and anger, spoke of User's ultimate transformation from a cold, ruthless killing machine into something more - something better and, perhaps even, good.
"This poor girl..."

.....The day before, a young unknown had arrived at what was presumedly known as Club Orion. Today, he was still a youth, and still an unknown, but was making himself quite comfortable in his new position. He had been kindly shown a place regarding some sort of rest for himself, though he still wreaked of wretched sea water and felt of grimy, gritty salt. He felt quite unclean as he laid there, resting lazily in his hammock.
.....Creaking, back and forth, rocking along the same line through reality, he had his right arm hanging over the side of the material he was wrapped in, and his left was bent across his stomach. He left leg was stretched straight along with his body, and his right just barely touched the ground, having enough leverage to give momentum enough to swing his body and his vessel back and forth, back and forth.
.....Elsewhere, he was only faintly aware of some major event playing out upon this planet he had found himself on.

She had shifted her position now, arms hanging at her sides, stiff and tense as her fists clenched and opened. Her feet were at shoulder width apart, head still bowed and golden locks of hair facing Keno.
".....you're lying Keno...." Her voice sounded hurt, and angry at the same time.
"My Nii-chan would never do something like that....if something was wrong you knew about it immediately. You knew something was different when Tygre's time came for him.....so you must know something now...."
Jade didn't want to fight him, not like this. Spar with him, sure. Train? Anytime. Just hang out and talk? Of course. But fight him in anger? It wasn't even a possibility until tonight.
".....I don't want to hit you again....I wanna help.....I don't want this to happen again...."
He wasn't Caine. He wasn't the former User. He wasn't the Devil Fierce. So what happened....?

Valin stood in the entrance of the arena, watching the brawl. Though his eyes could not follow them as good as he wanted, the Force did so easily. Had this been a brawl between two spiced-up smugglers or pirates, he would have done some fancy trick to stop it.
This was different. This was a personal battle, one he had nothing to do with. So he just stood in the arena entrance, still concealed in his cloak. The Force offered a few more trickles of water from its ocean. The puzzle was coming together - and he wasn't liking it.
The holocron, still on the table, was playing a hologram: Master Yoda lecturing in the Temple Spire while in meeting with the other Jedi Masters of the High Council. He was speaking to Anakin Skywalker, who was just a frightened young boy far from home and being studied by these Jedi.
The words Master Yoda spook to the child Skywalker seemed to be another clue from the Force: "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."
Suffering...
Ichi was suffering. Jade was suffering. KenoTao was suffering. User was suffering. Deity was suffering. A destroyed city was suffering.
The whole world seemed to be suffering.
Valin beared this as any Jedi must. Though not the worst pain he had ever beared, it seemed like it was such a burden on his shoulders. There was little he could do besides offer consul and clean up the mess. He would have plenty of time to help with the city.
The Force had drawn him to the source of the suffering...

He stood there and soaked it all in like a sponge. She wasn't about to attack him. Didn't look like she wanted to. That was good. Not that what he said next would help. He wasn't sure if it would make her feel any better or not. Not in the least, but since she seemed so willing to know the truth and he was such a horrible liar (apparently) he might as well tell her.
His eyes studied her frame carefully. Would she really buy the only real excuse he could think of, or would she think it a giant stinking load? Well he'd only know if he told her, and his hollow eyes gave no indication as to whether or not he would. But he knew he would, it was merely a matter of time really. For now though he merely looked at her, waiting until he was sure he should open his mouth. Nothing was quite as horrible as a woman's wrath. He wasn't about to invoke it simply for speaking too soon.
"If you don't want this to happen again...give me a reason to forgive them...completely. Otherwise, hope you're around to stop me next time." How cold. The temperature had to drop a few degrees because of his voice alone. No feeling still, save the confusion that had him wondering still if she really took a swing at him. Other than that...nada.

[[ Well, User hasn't destroyed a human city since he first got to Earth except, I do recall once when he totally lost it in LSSJ form and did so. Then again, most people don't expect too much 'good' from old Monkey Boy. Now if Valin went all Wrath of God/Force on something, that might stir some controversy. ninja ]]

.....Something was indeed troubling our new visitor to the C.O. establishment, and it shone explicitly upon his face. His eyebrows were scrunched together to cause wrinkles between, his lids were nearly closed from concentration, his mouth was set firmly and his lips pursed stringily, and a sense nearly of a removed self-consciousness radiating off of his physical being.
.....The more he thought of it, the more he wanted to forget it, and the more he forgot it, the more he wanted to think of it. And the more he thought of it, the more it angered him. 'The ******** did I come from?' Ever since the day before, when he had been welcomed to the C.O. by some humanoid sporting a pair of wolfish white ears and a matching wolf's tail, he had been left to his own devices to mull over the past which had to stand between what he last remembered before the events of the night prior, and where he was now. The last thing he could dig up were flames...
.....He shook his head, as he had done several times this night, and would do several more, in a symbolic resemblance of the mental shaking and waking and returning of his conscious self. Of course, it would be only mere moments before he once more drifted back into his delving.
