Super Sailor Adria
Total: 3+3+3+5+4=18
"It worked," Adria promised, still holding her close. The growing dragon and worsening heat might have implied that things were getting worse but there was something about whatever was going on that was worth being optimistic about. He held her to his chest, maybe because he didn't want her to see the looming evil in the distance, or maybe because it was giving him some sort of stability just to have someone else.
"We have to keep doing it, though," he said into her ear. They weren't in this alone and it was almost reassuring to be packed onto this platform with so many people.
...It made it feel like they had a chance. Like there were enough of them, all determined to survive, that maybe they might make a difference.
The carnival music was loud, mocking, and echoed with screams. He didn't think he'd ever hear the tune the same again.
The cracks in the ground were as good a target as any--and judging by the reaction they'd had so far, they were onto something. For better, or worse, it was something.
The earth was trembling beneath them, but he kicked at what debris was nearby, unwilling to abandon Meridiana. Plumes of smoke erupted wherever the debris landed, encouraging him to keep at it. "Come on, we have to keep it up. We can do this," he insisted, repeating it in his head until he could convince himself that he meant it.

Ammersee
With the effect of the small rocks into the chasm from earlier, Ammersee could only hope that pushing larger rocks would have a bigger effect; he began looking for the largest that he could find and shoving them desperately over the edge.

The ground is weakening and the loud, echoing sound of a crack forming underground is nerve-wracking. The dragon seems to hear it, seems to fear it. It’s trying to climb higher atop the immortal frame of the carnival tent. Flames have licked the entire surface, and any normal tent would have melted away into a pile of nothingness already but in this strange space it seems to just keep burning. The dragon may not be so lucky. As the chasms are filled, the lava turns to ash as if the debris functions as some sort of toxic poison. It crept from deep underground, barreling towards the creature in the distance; its claws look like they are turning to ash. Its tail has all but disappeared. Still, it’s not giving in. It throws its head back and lets out one more bellowing roar--only, this time a wall of fireballs shoot across the sky--right towards the platform everyone is gathered on. Quote: Fireballs are hurling towards you! You need to keep doing what you’re doing to fill the chasms, but you need to protect yourself first and foremost! Roll to determine your fate!If you have a fourth stage character, RNG between numbers 5-10! If you have a third stage character, RNG between numbers 4-10! If you have a second stage character, a Mauvian Senshi, or a full Youma character, RNG between numbers 3-10! If you have a first stage character, or a humanoid Mauvian, RNG between numbers 2-10! If you have a civilian or a basic Mauvian, RNG between numbers 1-10! Quote: If you roll between 8-10 you feel the heat from the fireballs but you aren’t in any immediate danger. In fact, the heat seems strangely reassuring; you feel like you’ve gotten a burst of strength. You have a great opportunity to keep clogging those chasms . Keep up your efforts, you can tell you’re making a difference! If you roll between a 4-7 a fireball blows right past your head. You narrowly avoid being hit and may feel overheated, dizzy, or feel a little singed. A quick check reveals no noticeable damage (unless the player prefers to) but you don’t have much time to focus on that. You made it past the first wave--now you need to make sure there isn’t a second one. Keep trying to clog the chasms, you’re so close to taking this thing out! If you roll between a 1-3, a fireball hits you; you feel extreme, disorienting and painful heat. You may feel like you are about to pass out, may feel sick, and may take actual physical damage up to your discretion. While the sensations of the fireball will pass after a moment and leave no damage (unless the player prefers to take damage), it still leaves you slower than usual. You can resume trying to clog the chasms but you may have a more difficult time than usual. Still, it’s no time to give up! Please keep track of your roll totals in bold red font at the top of your post! If you choose to, you may respond from the prompt you roll to or any prompt lower, but you cannot respond to a prompt higher than what you rolled! You can only roll once per prompt and if you make a mistake, simply strike out your post. Please do not delete rolls! You may continue to RP between prompts. The next prompt will be posted at noon EST on Monday October 28th! This will be the last dice roll for the ORP; please make sure you try to backfill RP posts if you haven’t begun to already! While you will not be penalized for empty posts when the tallies are made, please try to fill out posts as you are able to! While you can still join the RP, you cannot make up lost rolls!

Daphne Emmerson4 + 7 + 1 + 10 + 4 +2“Yeah.” She said, trying to get control back over her emotions. “Just giant lizards who can literally swallow us both up without a second thought. You’re not a very big cat, you know. And I’m not a very large girl. We’re kind of really screwed.”
Daphne’s voice was strained, but she held Soleiyu a little more tightly and as she saw the fireball coming towards her, she tried to move, or at the very least tried her hardest to turn so it would get her back and not hurt the precious creature she held in her arms.
The heat and the pain was overwhelming and Daphne screamed as the flames engulfed her. A wave of utter dizziness hit her and she sank to her knees as the flames vanished. She was suddenly exhausted and trembled in fear and the residual pain. “…Are…are you okay?” Her voice shook and she looked down at the cat in her arms, concern warring with utter terror for control of the emotion in her eyes

Illyria, Guardian Cat (( 4 + 5 + 3 + 8 + 10 + 8 = 38 ))'Little Friend?' Illyria really liked the sound of that. She really did. It sent a strange warmth through her.
'Hold on tight okay. We might need to move quickly.' Tiny claws would grip the uniform in a silent response. Illyria wasn't going to risk falling.
Although still worn out from letting loose with whatever she'd done moments before Illyria could only manage a breathless and soft "okay" in response. From what she could ascertain from her new position on the senshi's shoulder was that she wasn't in any further danger for now. Taking the rare moment to be able to observe a senshi in battle was a wonderful opportunity for the young Mauvian. The sight of one using their magic was thrilling. Her whole body quivered. Though at the sound of the dragon roaring Illyria's attention was drawn back to the being that was their opponent. Already it sounded enraged from the attacks that were being directed at it. However most of the directed attacks weren't at the dragon itself but the ground. Her gaze swept the platform and took in countless individuals letting loose with magic or weapons or just bare-knuckled efforts to block the chasms. There was a part of her that wanted to pitch in and continue doing so as well but in her current state she'd have probably been more of a hindrance than a help.
Instead she rested content on the shoulder of the one that had saved her and was continuing to look out for her. There wasn't anything else she could do. However that all changed as the dragon let loose with another deafening roar. If only that was all it did but no, it also had to launch a frenzy of fireballs towards the platform. Illyria instinctively shifted so that she was perched with her back paws on one shoulder and trying to protect Ida's head with her body. She'd not let this attack take away a new friend. Hissing in defiance the feline could feel the heat of the fireballs but nothing really else. But even that was incorrect. As the fireballs passed over them Illyria swore she could feel more energy flooding her limbs. While it wasn't a lot of energy ... it was enough that she could move around more easily now. Taking care not to claw her new friend Illyria shifted positions again so that she was perching on the woman's shoulders. Knowing that her size wouldn't amount to anything she could try and offer support instead. A loud rumbling purr echoed around the space in which she occupied and her tail twitched lazily - gently batting against the senshi's neck. Hopefully it wasn't too distracting. "Maybe another attack would do the trick?"

Sailor Lacerta (of Bandages) (( 3 + 2 + 6 + 8 + 8 + 2 = 29 )) "Yeah, my magic won't help either if we fall in,"
The fact that Arnica was following her lead and that others where moving boulders into nearby chasms seemed to be having some sort of effect on the dragon. The tremors continued to ripple underneath the surface of the platform and Lacerta was more than willing to take Arnica's advice of staying away from the edges but she continued to try and block as many of the smaller fissures as she could. The fact remained that whatever reaction was taking place it was setting the dragon on edge and as the senshi of bandages glanced up during a brief respite she could've sworn that the dragon's body was becoming more and more fragile. Parts of it seemed to have disintegrated completely.
"I think whatever we're doing is working. Keep it up Arnica."
It was in this moment of distraction that Lacerta caught sight of the fireballs arcing towards the platform. Her gaze took in Arnica's form and she had barely enough time to shout a warning to him before she saw the danger she was in. A fireball struck her squarely and she screamed in shock before dropping to the ground. Common sense would have been to roll back and forth but even as Lacerta tried to roll to her side the realization that she wasn't on fire took over. That didn't mean that she wasn't in extreme discomfort. Her vision wavered and the dancing black spots in front of her didn't bode well. It was the sensation of extreme heat that lingered and she gave a soft groan before curling into a ball. This wasn't how things were supposed to go. Getting to her feet was out of the question now but she swept her hand and brushed a few loose pebbles into the nearest hole in the ground. It was going to have to be enough. "Keep going Arnica ..."Kyuseisha no Hikari whoops, quoted a post instead of editing. fixed

Lieutenant Rakovanite Rolls: 10 + 2 + 3 + 8 + 2 + 4 = 29
A noticeable difference was overcoming the shadowy dragon-creature. For being what Rakovanite expected was some apparition or demon, it behaved in the way he expected something living might, as though making conscious decisions to avoid what displeased or hindered it. So what was it? Where had it come from? Why did it exist? Rakovanite doubted there would ever be solid answers, but he could plainly see that it was becoming more frenzied.
It let out a rolling roar, and from the smokey darkness, a rain of fireballs jet toward the earth. The sounds of alarm from the others trapped in this plane with him, reached his ears, and Rakovanite pitched to the side as he dodged a fireball, narrowly avoiding sliding into the chasm.
He hated the heat. It shouldn't be unbearable, but his body didn't feel accustomed to it. It was sweltering, and smoke and ash clogged his lungs and made it hard to breathe, hard to keep moving... He didn't have magic or a usable weapon to combat this creature, as some of those around him did. And Rakovanite was tired, shaking and burned. He wanted to be able to crumple to a useless pile on the ground, but...
That just wasn't what you did when you wanted to survive, when you needed to be useful.
