Toma cleared his throat. "My request is not fool hardy it is honorable. I wish to show these fae the same respect they have shown us. If I where to face them as I am now it would almost be like slapping them in the face." he said looking at his sisters and smiled. "I don't really see why your being so cautious. After all you released the seals when I tested their mother and everything turned out just fine." he said motioning his thumb towards Torra and Terra.

"Yes, well humans are frightfully more powerful when they are pushed to their limits. Magical beings however are much more arrogant for they always have a little extra to give having differing powers in different species. And Raiden, these girls of yours have grown into lovely young ladies. They look much more like their mother than you. Thankfully."

Rava looked at her nieces. "Yes, they do look like their mother." She looked over at Chaliste, "And what are you doing here cousin? I don't think a mentor is needed in this battle."

Chaliste jumped, "I am here to support my student. She is after all one of the participants reasons for fighting. Lord Jesse over there has taken a liking to her. So I am here because I choose to be." She knew that little bit of disrespect would cost her but she always had an issue with how higher up angels thought they were better than any other angel.

Rava glared at her "You should watch your tone Chaliste, we don't have to help you or your friends if we choose not to."

"Calm down sister. We came here to release our brothers and nothing more. If you wish to put her in her place then do it at home." she looked at Chaliste, "She is right you know. But I understand you have never liked how your superiors carry themselves, perhaps when you actually catch up to us with demon students then you will understand our hardened and slightly emotionless natures. Until then watch what you say."

Amiera's body was livid as she stood in the presence of the angels. How her mother had become a fallen was now clear to her. Angels were arrogant and nothing like the nature of Fae or how her sweet human mother had been. Surely Fae had not been perfect in their dark history, but they respected all even when it was not deserved. The Summer Queen let her power form around her, as bright sunlight. It was enough to make Remonee exert some power to balance her and a chill swept through the battleground as the Highest Fae stepped forward to speak, still clutching her fiance's hand. "I will not let you disrespect anyone here in my presence, be it one of your own or one of my Fae. You come here to Fae land world to do one thing. That is to help your brother test my Fae. I do not allow angles to come here often. But Fae laws demand fair and equal solutions to this matter. The ancient kings and queens have given us this solution. So let us get this task done with so that my court, and all of Fae may celebrate in the crowning of a new king and the marriage that is set to take place." Amiera said, her royal blood showing through as she watched the angels closely.

Mikal smirked. His cousin was doing well so far. He stepped forward and bowed like a gentleman to the angels. It was his way of being sarcastic to them. He hated them and would never welcome them here. But what had to be done had to be done. "Ladies. Let us get this over with. as my queen and cousin has already stated, she is to be married once this ordeal is through. I know she wished to get to her happy wedding day, so lets not keep her waiting with you 'Idle Chatter'." He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. It was enough to make the Winter queen and young Summer lord chuckle.

Ambrosia narrowed her eyes and looked at the Dark Fae kingling, "Child, you may keep that sarcastic tone to yourself, it will do you no good here. As for the events in which you plan to celebrate, we could care less, there are more important things at hand. Keep your mind and focus on the situation at hand. Being a new king you need the practice." She said letting her own sarcasm cover the words as much as possible.

Rava glanced at Amiera, "Young queen, we know your kind are not the fondest of angels, but we do know the laws of each community. We will set our brothers powers free. But we cannot leave, until this matter is settled. We need to bind them once more. For the sake of us all." She turned her attention to the rest of the group. "As for the rest of you, just because you are lords or rulers of a season and or court of the fae does not mean we care to hear your words." She said it to the group, but it was mainly directed at the dark king. "My niece means a great deal to me, if I see fit this test will not take place, watch your tongue young one."

Torra looked shocked, she barely knew her aunts, and yet here they were acting like over protective parents. As arrogant as they were she knew they were trying to be nice. Angels were funny like that. The amount of darker energy was making them shifty and on edge which she assumed was what all the snappy comments were caused by.
She watched as they moved to their brothers and gave each a once over, a small smile. Rava and Ambrosia raised their hands and started to chant, a moment passed and the air cooled. Her father and uncle fell to the ground and let out a loud cry. The air around the demon kings turned red and gold and the ground broke around them.
Looking at them Torra saw their skin had taken on a pale shade, red for Toma and blue for her father. She had never seen such a thing, it was amazing and terrifying at the same time. She moved to take Terras hand, there they stood, minutes passed and it was over. Her father and uncle stood, eyes still closed, they were breathing heavily, like a great weight was lifted from their chests.

"Everyone, they have been released. Don't take this lightly. They aren't themselves fully. They are more carnal and will try and if the laws would let them kill anything that challenges them. Now get on with it so we may get them back to normal."

The brothers open their eyes letting everyone see how they had changed. Raiden's eyes were now red with crystal blue centers. Toma's were pitch black with blood red centers. As they looked at the people around them their eyes locked on to the fae that wished to challenge them for acceptance into their clan.

"Rava, Ambrosia I have one more favor that I need you to do for me. I would like you to heal these fae when they are injured because if you don't they will die." he said his voice soaked in blood lust.

Raiden raised a hand and pointed towards Mikal and Jesse as electricity sparked all over his body. "I'm going to tear off your limbs and rip open your guts so my daughters can see just how unfit you are to protect them."
PostPosted: Mon Jan 27, 2014 4:15 pm

Ambrosia focused her attention to Raiden, "I will do no such thing. It is part of their laws that you cannot harm them to that point. This test may be one to test these fae, but it is another test to learn control over yourselves." she said it in an extremely stern and rage filled voice. The temperature dropped to almost freezing, which being in a winter dueling area it was even colder.

Torra looked between her father and uncle, "Wait, why are you going to test the guys if Remonee is fighting to be with uncle? Wouldn't it be more fair if she fought one who isn't going to take it easy on account of their feelings?" she turned to Remonee, "I'm not trying to make it worse for you I was simply asking."

Rava pondered this for a moment. "My niece is correct. Your love for this girl will cloud your judgement and you will not fight how these tests intend for you to fight." She took her sisters hand and walked to Amiera and Remonee and each angel took a hand from the girls and closed their eyes. "We know you do not enjoy us being here, we can feel your emotions clear as our own. But this is important to you and yours." They opened their eyes, "Let the battle between Raiden demon king and Remonee Winter Fae queen begin!"
"Let the battle between Toma and Mikal Dark Fae king, and Jesse Summer Lord future Summer king begin!"
In unison Rava and Ambrosia shouted "Good luck everyone!"

Toma smiled wickedly before vanishing and reappearing in front of Jesse and Mikal. "You first." he said as his hand lashed out grabbing Jesse my the throat lifting him off the ground. As he tightened his grip he could feel the young fae's neck start to give way under the pressure. He chuckled as he brought Jesse head first into the ground creating a crater from sheer force of impact. He stood pulling his arm out of the ground leaving Jesse about ten feet below the surface. Turning his attention to Mikal he started laughing. "Wanna know a secret?" he said his body slowly being engulfed in black flames.

Raiden looked at Remonee. "We'll start when my brother is done. Gotta make sure he doesn't kill them by accident." he said turning his attention back to the fight.

Mikal laughed and was gone. It a flash his nightmare scythe was embedded in the demon. He disappeared again, showing up on the edge of the crater Jesse was burried in. "How long do you plan on waiting Summer? Your missing all the fun!" Mikal laughed. His power was pure evil when totally released as he stared at the demon he was fighting. The shadows around him began to form into a larger scythe and his wings flexed in preparation for another attack.

Jesse had appeared next to the Dark King and cracked his neck. "If that is all you have then you are no match for us. Dark Mutt why don't you use blood magic and get this over with? you've beat demons before." Jesse sneered to the Fae beside him. He pulled out his katana that glowed with the power of the hot summer sun. "I won't lose."

Remonee watched, her thoughts silent as she pondered her attacks and defense. She wasn't cut out for fighting, and knew there was a high chance she would lose. Her heart was heavy as she thought about losing Toma over this. It would be best if she didn't fight at all. Winter was not meant for this. She glanced at Amiera, wondering if the Ancients would allow her to back out. The kings and queens of old were not ones to disobey. Remonee shook the thought and faced forward to watch the fight. She would lose Toma either way. The future was clear to her. She would lose the fight. Or she wold lose her life. But she would not get to be with Toma.

Amiera showed no emotion on her face she she let her power go more. The more she released her own abilities, the more power Jesse and Mikal had. Jesse was stronger then she was right now and she knew he would survive. She was worried about calming Mikal after this. Killing the Dark King was nearly impossible, but getting him to rebind his power willingly and not throw off the balance made it seem easier to try to kill him. "Mikal." She said sternly. "Stop playing and finish this."

Mikal smirked. "Yes my Queen." He growled.

The ground began to shake and brake apart around Toma as he release more of his demonic energy. These young Fae had no idea who the hell they were messing with. If he actually used his full strength against them they would die. He looked at them his eyes growing colder. "You're far to arrogant thinking yourselves my equals." he said before vanishing. When he reappeared his one hand was embedded in Jesse's chest the other was crushing Mikal's throat after it had broke through the scythe. "Lets see how much pain you can withstand." As Toma opened his hand inside Jesse his black flames engulfed the foolish summer fae from the inside out. Putting not only him in unimaginable physical pain but immense mental pain as well. Toma tilted his hand allowing Jesse to fall to the ground unconscious. "Now I gently maim you."He said as his claws turned black before piercing Mikal's neck. As they did dark tribal marks began appearing allover Mikal's body. "A light curse to stop you from moving while I break you." he said as he throw the young king into the air. Toma appeared above him bringing his heel down onto Mikal's chest shattering all of his ribs and sending him towards the ground. Moments before he made contacted Toma grabbed by the wrist breaking it with his grip before jumping into the air and throwing Mikal down onto Jesse sending them both two miles under ground. Toma snapped his fingers releasing the curse on Mikal. "Get up. I didn't deal enough damage to either of you to kill you." he said as he floated in the air looking down at the hole.

Raiden chuckled. "Stupid fools better start thinking they've already fail the first test. After all this is not some simple test of strength. But a test to see if they have the right qualities it takes to be a ruler." he said as he watched Toma become slightly intangible by molding his physical form with his demonic flames.

"Brother! Yield! If you harm them further the way you are physically they are going to die." She leaned closer to Terra "This is why they are bound, your father and uncle, well they have a terrible time controlling themselves."

Terra shivered. Fighting wasn't something she cared to discuss or take part in unless completely necessary.

Rava watched her brother bash the two fae. "Raiden, brother dear, perhaps it is time to settle this little test? I don't have to use any energy to see those boys have massive internal bleeding and too many broken bones to be able to fight back. They need to think like the warriors they are and yield before they cannot."

Torra looked at her aunt, "What do you mean by that?"

Rava smiled at her niece, "My dear, these kinds of tests are so ancient, when they were manifested true strength was not measured simply by how strong one is, but by knowing when they are beat and knowing when they should step down. You're mother lasted this long going through the same treatment your love and friend are now facing. We angels and demons are not so terrible you see. Though this is supposed to test your strength but to see if you can make the tougher choice between pride and knowing what is best for yourself and others."

Torra looked back at the fight, "So they can't kill each other, but they aren't allowed to stop until one yields, how double edge of our races." she narrowed her eyes and watched her uncle float above the ground glaring into the hole.

Jesse floated up on his wings and knelt in front of the demon. He had never bowed to anyone but Amiera before, and it was a sign of true respect and submission. "I concede defeat. Though I could fight you more, I know my place and I value my life more then the pride of winning this fight." He spoke in a somber tone. His wounds had healed and he held his sword at his side.

Amiera was working hard to heal the Dark king before he decided to show up. She knew she could only prevent the pain as he was darker more then he was summer. She sighed softly, finding him still alive and raging.

Mikal climbed out of the hole and stood straight. He would never bow to anyone, not even Amiera. The wings on his back were gone. Silvery Fae blood poured from his back as he stood, staring down the demon who had done such damage. "It seems you have done the impossible. Your aura has ripped off a royal Faes wings. That is a sign that I am not worthy of winning this fight. Proud as I am, I grant you the win demon. I do not wish to see my love's tears over my death." He tilted his head to Amiera and sighed. "Now now Cousin. Healing my Summer side wont help. You know the laws. The demon has won. I shall receive my punishment from the Elders upon our return to the Palace of Summer." He said before bowing to the demon. "I concede defeat, Toma."

Amiera relaxed a bit, but her eyes held tears. Her hands shook as she looked at Mikal and then Torra. "Very well. My Fae admit they have lost. I applaud you for making the proud Dark King bow his head to you. Let us finish this quickley so he may receive the Elders' punishment."

Ambrosia walked up behind Mikal, "Welcome to the demon community young king." The air warmed to summer temperatures, she held up her hands and laid them on his back. "This will hurt." She pinched his skin and reformed his old wings into stronger forms of what they were. "No king should be without his wings. Nor should a fae. I may not have the power to stop your elders judgement, I can at least give you what my brother has stolen."

Rava walked and kneeled infront of Jesse. She lifted his chin so he could meet her eyes. "Young lord, welcome to the demon community."

The angels stood. "These fae have joined the demon community. It takes more than raw power to be a good ruler and demon. Congratulations gentlemen."

Torras mouth fell open, she knew angels had power, but replacing a faes wings, royal or not was impossible, and yet she did it. "How did you do that?!"

Ambrosia turned her head, "Oh my dear, we have so much energy being as high in rank as we are, it's possible but it takes a lot of our own energy to reform such important things to such important creatures." She looked at Raiden, "If you would be so kind as to not rip Remonees lovely wings off or hurt her in such a way that would be wonderful."

Mikal and Jesse walked to the Summer queen without thanks to the angels. The Dark King fell to his knees at Amiera's feet. He dared not look at her while she touched his leathery wings. Symbols formed on them and glowed with light, making the king flinch. He stood once the marks had faded, leaving burn marks on the skin of his wings. His release form faded and he became the king they all knew before the power seal had been lifted. He was silent as he stood next to Torra, his thoughts on the upcoming punishment he would receive.

Jesse's wings shimmered with the light of summer, the patterns weaving across his wings already. He stood once his form had returned to normal, and made his way over to Terra. He bowed slightly to her before standing beside her. He too was silent, but his was a content quiet unlike Mikal's gloomy one.

Amiera sighed. "Let us get on with this. I thank you for restoring Mikal's wings.... But if the Elders decide his punishment should be severe I doubt he will have them very long. He broke a very important law here. I am surprised the Elders are being generous enough to let us finish this." She said softly. Her wings shimmered with frost, signaling Remonee was nervous and very eager to let her thoughts be known. The Summer queen looked at Winter and nodded slightly.

Remonee sighed, trying to calm down. Seeing Mikal's wings ripped off had frightened her. She was not prepared to fight this battle. Her mind was clouded with thoughts as she faced the demon she would fight. It was evident that she was shaking. Even Winter knew better to fight a demon.

Toma walked over and looked at Remonee. "I am sorry I stole his wings. And I am sorry you had to see me like the animal my father created. Also, I'm saying sorry to you because I think Mikal would take it as in insult if I would say it to him." He took her hand and kissed the back. "Good luck my dear. And be wary, he knows you are not one for physical battle, so I'm guessing he will go for your mind." Toma looked away, "I shouldn't be telling you what to watch out for, it gives you an advantage. But I wish you the best of luck."

Raiden chuckled. "Let's get going!" He looked at his brother and his love, "I will not wait all day. Come lovely miss. Let us get this over with so you and my brother may do what ever it is you do." He walked to the center of the field, next to the giant hole Toma had made with the fae boy Jesse.

When Remonee joined him, he closed his eyes "Good luck Ms. Remonee. I don't wish to put you through this test but I must." After a moment the air became muggy and she dropped to her knees. A wicked grin spread across his face.

He opened his eyes and looked at the space he created. A vast almost empty world of sand and heat. "How do you like my original home? Hot and vacant. Our father always enjoyed the heat. I never understood why, still don't." He walked over to Remonee, "I see you don't like the heat, I guess that is because of all the winter and ice swirling through your veins. Pity."
