She sat on it in a huff and fiddled with the crank, this time turning it slowly . . . and finally it whirred to life. "Alright alright~" Rostym cooed as it floated off the ground. "Let's try this!"
The shrine was in sight and the gust was throwing off his control. The burning visage was gone, but the effect was still in affect. The loss of control was being wrestled with as the wind was also against his goal. With a growl, he tried to regain control.

The rush of air was exhilarating and frightening and exciting and terrifying. Rostym laughed a little as she learned the controls step by step. This thing was so intuitive! How clever! But her fun was quickly rained upon as what felt like a literal wall of anger struck her.
She could not understand the words, but the anger stunned her. The flyer dropped feet faster than she thought possible, and she struggled to get back to something steady. Was she not supposed to be here . . .?
The fog seemed endless. Rostym peered left and right carefully as she glided along, suddenly fearful and cold. Was she even going the right way . . .? Keep it together, she told herself, biting her lip. The machine was attuned to her; if she was strong, then it would be too.
Why did she keep feeling all of these emotions, though?
The wind was growing strong. More violent. He was losing control again, and he was beginning to lose his path to the shrine! He was veering off course!

Maoarxi shooked her head she wadnt going to listen to the voice.

The wind continued to push him along. The shrine growing further and further away, further out of sight... He was losing control and he was so close...

And finally, the world's true edge. Her stomach fell at the sight of the endless darkness and mist around her. It was quite cold, but . . . she could spot a light.
The winds were unparalleled here, though. Each gust through her more and more off course, and she struggled to maintain her altitude. Positive, think positive!
And just as she was starting to despair and pray to her goddess, Rostym found a gentle breeze ringing her to the island. A long sigh of relief left her, and she was shaky by the time the glider landed safe and sound.
She kissed the ground before anything else.
Then the little shadow approached the altar and bowed, taking a light from it and holding it close to her heart. "Thank you," she whispered as the fog engulfed her--and she found herself on the cliffs once more.
Taking a deep breath, Rostym stepped away to catch her breath.
"Come on!" he roared as a strong gust threw his glider up into the air and finally let go. Closing his eyes, all he could do was hold on tight as the wind released it's zephyrous grip on the contraption. Then, he realized that the glider wasn't shaking... he wasn't fighting it anymore... he was just gliding. Gliding slowly and downward. Opening his eyes, he could see the shrine and the glider was heading right for the island that it sat upon.
