wheninvegas I put the word counts together Nisha was still a little scattered by the sudden stop and falling over as she looked at the person she had walked into, he looked well like a normal person, a little taller them her so she guess he was likely the same age, he had apologized to her as they were standing there. 'I guess we are both at fault it seems'. She thought to herself smiling a little as the thought crossed her mind as she listened to him go on about that he was also a freshly graduated academy student and new Genin. "It a please to meet you too Yakitori". Nisha said shaking his hand as he offered it to her, she was happy as well to know someone else that was in the same place as her, and then noticed the letter in her hand again as he brought it up. "Oh this". Nisha said bring the list up and looking at it again before replying again. "It isn't anything really, I just got back from the main office, the team I was meant to be on is already on a mission out of the country at the moment, so they told me I should go to the outfitter and pick up my graduation kit, and take sometime and look into my ninja path, when in the academy I had a talent for Sensory training, so I am going down that path, and if I wanted I could try doing some basic missions while waiting". She said happily as she looked at him, as she stood there now feeling a bit nervous as she noticed she had just blurted out a bunch of stuff now that she could reflect on it. 'Wait, if he is a new Genin like myself maybe he needs to get his graduation kit as well'. Nisha looked at him as the idea hit her and she looked excited. "Did you get your team assignment yet?, if not do you want to come with me?, I was going to get my graduation kit first". Kaito reassured Juugou that it was fine and that he could order anything from the menu because it was 'All You Can Eat'. However, he did so in a very loud tone, which garnered plenty of annoyed looks from the other patrons seated nearby. The older teen noticed this and quietly ordered breaded shrimp from the waitress, who left in a hurry. Juugou wasn't sure what to think of Kaito at all. Their first meeting was for lack of words odd. It was like he didn't take life, or himself seriously. Hajime started up the conversation by confirming Juugou's earlier comment about his being a medic. He said to have been taught by shinobi and the ninja monks from the Fire Temple. The monk had also mentioned having learned other methods the were deemed dangerous so even he had reservations about using them. "That's pretty cool!" said the young Aburme with a smile. "What was it like training at the Fire Temple?" The waitress returned with their drinks, placing them down in front of each of the ninja with a straw across the rim of the glasses before slinking away to get to other customers. Kaito then asked about the Aburame, to which Juugo nodded. "You're right. However my family uses the bugs in tandem with medical ninjutsu. In a way it's more efficient because we don't have to be directly involved when providing support and can treat multiple people at once." He took his straw and tapped it against the table until it broke through the paper wrapper then blew on it so the wrapper would remove itself and land on the seat next to Kaito. Juugou sipped some water through the straw before asking a question of his own. "For an Akimichi you seem pretty lean. If i didn't know any better i would say you look more like an Uchiha." Before Kaito replied to his inquiry he turned to Hajime and asked him if he had heard from Sai, to which he shook his head. He then explained that while Kaito was off seeing family and getting drunk, and Sai was effectively MIA he spent most of the time wrapping up their last mission. "Who is this Sai you guys are talking about, your team mate?" asked Juugou feeling a bit left out once the topic switched.
Their food arrived shortly after. Juugou took a fish stick and dipped it in the small tub of tartar sauce before biting off half of it. The breading complemented the fish perfectly. He looked over at Kaito and his jaw hung slack. The man was putting away the food with gusto, almost as if inhaling the food into a bottomless pit. Juugou gave Hajime a sidelong glance and could see the monk was not trying to hide his utter disgust. The Akimichi had devoured the shrimp, tail and all, and requested a second helping. The waitress walked away after jotting down the order on her pad, sharing Hajime's disgust. Kaito asked their opinion, stating that he thought the waitress showed interest in him. Hajime made it clear that he thought otherwise. "I have to agree with Hajime. You'd have an easier time with a platter of breaded shrimp than you would with her."

Yakatori Yomi Yakatori listened intently as Nisha spoke. She had a pretty good grasp on how the system worked. “ Ah graduation kit that must be the note in my headband was for!” he thought to himself. A warm gentle breeze shifted his hair to the side and for the first time he felt at home in the Village of the Leaf, he was outside, meeting new people, starting to work, these feelings allowed him to loosen up a little and remind him of his days in the Land of Iron. His ears perked up when Nisha mentioned that she too was a sensory ninja. “ I wonder if she could help me train or little?” his thought was momentarily before he came to the conclusion that just because she was a sensory ninja as well doesn't necessarily mean that she could help them. “ Were their abilities to different, would she even want to train with him?” these were questions better saved for another time. Yakatori was delighted when Nisha asked him to join her. “ I, unfortunately have not received my team assignment yet” he said slightly sighing “ the lady at the administration office said that someone would get to me shortly but no word as of yet.” His words trailed off toward the end but he pepped up with excitement when he began to speak again. “ I would love to join you! I’m sort of a fish out of water here” he said chuckling “ I hope you wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes for bit before you meet up with your team.” He added in quickly “ as long as I’m not a hassle, I wouldn’t want to impede on anything you were doing.” He figured he might as well be blunt with his new acquaintance he didn’t have anything to lose. “ To tell you the truth I don’t know too much would you mind if on the way I picked your brain about a few things? We can walk and talk if you like but i'm chalked full of questions and the lack of answers are hurting my head a little.” Word count: 2194 + 348 = 2542

Hajime spoke of Sai possibly visiting his family one way or another, shrugging the drunk would throw in his two cents. "I mean, I dunno.. I'd like to get to know that weenie but he never wants to hang with us y'know? Like I'm gonna be doing missions with this guy and he'll be watching my back! I'd like to know whose watching my back instead of some dude I don't see more than twenty minutes at a time. I still think something's off..." Turning his attention now to the Aburame boy. "Yeah he's our teammate who never does anything with us, he's an a*****e!" This Sai talk was getting him all worked up now, the last thing the trio needed was drunken Kaito to become trailer trash drunken Kaito. Although being drunk he knew working himself up wouldn't end well, for him mostly. Ninja jail sounded like a bad time, with his stature and hairstyle he certainly would be someones girlfriend there. Kaito laughed the comments about waitress off. "Yeah right, you guys are funny! I do love a good sense of humor!" Drunken minds didn't work so well, unfortunately for Kaito his was exactly that. The boy would throw down the rest of the shrimp, tails still included. The last one would be chomped up just upon the waitress' arrival. "Ayeee thanks babe!" The Akimichi winked at her with his mouth open, showing off shredded up pieces of shrimp. She made a sickened face and left with a 'You're disgusting!' Upon walking away. "Heh heh playing hard to get I see. I like a challenge!" Kaito chuckled upon throwing his old plate under his new plate. "So whatcha guys wanna do today? We could probably get back to doing some missions or somethin' right? After today's adventures I'm almost broke..."

Nisha smiled looking at Yakatori as he seemed lost in thought for a moment before replying to her with a yes basically, he hadn't received his team placement yet, which meant that they were both free to do stuff together. "That means that we can do stuff together until the teams get sorted, so lets make a plan of what to do today". She said with happily as she put on a bright smile. "Why are you a fish out of water, and I am find showing you around is there anything you would like too see in particular?". She asked with a small laugh mirroring his action to a small degree, as she stood with him. "As I said before I was only going to pick up my graduation kit, which you likely could pick up at the same time, and then spend sometime learning a little about my role as a sensor ninja". Nisha said for a moment as she motioned that the two of them could start walking, she was leading the two of them to another building near by, the ninja outfitter. Nisha had gotten a note from the assignment office that she had just come from before bumping into Yakatori, so her first stop was picking up her kit and then moving on. "Yeah lets walk and talk, first lets go to the outfitter and pick up ninja kits, you never said but which role are you training in, and feel free to ask anything? Nisha said walking with Yakatori, it took maybe five minutes to reach the outfitter in the village itself. The outfitter building was a rather normal looking building, the fit into the area, it had a store like front entrance, with an attached warehouse building, entering the store brought Nisha and Yakatori into display room with a counter on one side with a door that lead out to the back behind it, a older lady sitting behind the counter looked up at the two who had just enters, around the room were a bunch of displayed items. "Hi there, are you two here to buy supplies or pick up an order". The lady said as she looked over at the two of them. "Oh we are here to pick up our graduation kits". Nisha said as she went over to the woman and offered her the note she had gotten, the woman took the note from Nisha and Yakatori and reached under the counter and took out a large book making a note in it. "Ok, so as part of graduating from the academy you get to pick any three items you would like". The lady said with a smile as she looked at the two new ninja. Word count: 2542 + 457 = 2999

Hajime broke bread with the other two ninja. His stomach growled for the surely delicious food they were eating, but he forced it to politely decline. He would eat no meat, no matter how much his stomach wailed and his instincts begged for blood, bone, and sinew. Hajime pushed a peeling of bread into his mouth and swallowed it, followed by a gulp of water, "Don't worry about it Kaito. Sai is our teammate, and, as far as I'm concerned, he is as trustworthy as you are. When the time comes, I'm sure he'll surprise us all." Hajime sighed, "He is rather stand offish, I'll admit." Hajime added, "Yes, Sai is our teammate, the third in our ninja cell."
The monk side-eyed the drunk as he howled with laughter. Coldly, he muttered, "It wasn't a joke." Kaito was acting a fool, and his actions here tarnished the village to some degree. Worse- these sinful lusts and spoilings were trying Hajime's patience. Hajime waved over the waitress, and beneath the clatter of plates, ordered a coffee to sober Kaito up. He disliked the unclean, pep inducing qualities of coffee, but they were a known way to counteract some of the effects of alcohol.
Hajime drummed his fingers on the table as he waited for the coffee to arrive, "Missions, Kaito. We need to complete more missions. You need to complete more missions, lest you run yourself bankrupt with your gluttonous habits." His eyes wandered over to Juugou beside him, "You're welcomed to help- we do have an open slot on our team for the moment."

Juugou listened to the two team mates discuss Sai while he ate his fish and fries. From what he gathered, Sai had an abrasive approach to dealing with them, opting to be more of a tactical commander than a team player. Kaito seemed to only have a problem with his secretive nature, while Hajime threw a not-so-subtle jab about Sai being as untrustworthy as Kaito. The young genin felt out of place, mainly because the subject of discussion was someone he knew nothing about, but also because Kaito's behavior towards the waitress was ruining the lighthearted mood around them. Apparently Kaito thought they had been joking earlier when Juugou and Hajime mentioned that the waitress didn't like him, because he was laughing and making light of the situation. He had just finished devouring the last shrimp on his first plate when the waitress came back around bearing the second plate. As the waitress set down the new plate in front of Kaito, Hajime asked for a cup of coffee for his drunk team mate. After stacking the new plate atop the old one the Akimichi asked what they were going to do later, proposing doing missions in order to fill the void created by his drinking and massive meal. The monk was of mind to go on missions, at least for Kaito's sake. He glanced over at Juugou and invited him to tag along since there was an opening on their team at the moment. "As much as i would like to join you guys on these missions, there are a few things i have to take care of. Though i do appreciate the offer." The young Aburame finished his plate and washed the food down with the rest of the water before sighing contently. He waited until the waitress came back around with the coffee before pulling out his wallet. After she set the mug of dark brown liquid on the table, the young Aburame tapped her on the shoulder and handed her a small sum of ryo. "This is for the exceptional service and patience you showed us today. Thank you." The waitress smiled and nodded before going off to tend to other customers. Juugou then slid out of the seat and stretched before turning to Kaito and Hajime. "Thank you again, Kaito for the treat. I covered the tip for all of us so you don't need to worry about it. Next time i'll treat you. Hajime, it was definitely a pleasure. We should meet up sometime and discuss healing techniques. I'll see you guys around. Good luck on the missions!" he waved good bye while smiling and left the shinobi to their planning. Juugou walked out of the Yellow Tail and turned to go to the shopping area.

Yakatori YomiYakatori followed Nisha’s lead to the ninja outfitter. He was enjoying their walk and talk after her question he said back “ Oh I’m a fish out of water, because the leaf is my adoptive home. Originally I’m from the Land of Iron but my father and I moved here shortly after my mother passed away.” His voice trailed off towards the end. “ Should he tell her about his clan?” He still wasn’t sure how he would be accepted or who even knew of his people so he kept his mouth shut. “ Back home my father hunted so occasionally I would give him a hand and when I wasn’t doing that I would read. Many of the books I read were about ninja’s and far off lands so when we moved here I figured I might as well take a shot at the ninja life.” Yakatori realized that he had been given this poor lady his life story and returned to her latter question. “ I am training in the role of sensor ninja as well! The only problem is that I just found out I was one and I have no idea what a sensor ninja is, I think it might do with my ability to sense living things but other then that I’m clueless you wouldn’t happen to have an official explanation would you?” Yakatori asked with a smile, the sooner he figured out what was expected with him and what he could do the faster he could improve. The walk through town was relaxing the sun was shining, there was a slight breeze in air and the town seemed bustling but not crowded. They hadn’t been walking for long before he found himself following Nisha into a small storefront with a larger building attached to the rear end of it. “ A pretty boring for a weapons shop” he thought to himself, but at the same time he didn’t really know what to expect of one ether. The walked into together and a lady greeted as they entered. Yakatori let Nisha do the talking as he eyed the weapons in the display case. “ So much cool stuff! I should really think about how I want to fight before I pick anything.” Yakatori handed his note in with Nisha and began to browse through the book of items. He didn’t like the idea of fighting up close and personally so he would need something that he could attack from afar as well as providing support for his future teammates. After flipping through the pages several times and going over the items and their descriptions he felt like he knew what he wanted. His voice cracked at the beginning as he spoke “ Excuse me shopkeep I think I know what I would like, I would like the smoke bomb A, the tracking tags and the shuriken please” he then turned back to Nisha “ what will you be getting?” Word Count: 2194 + 486 = 2680

While walking to the outfitter Nisha listened to Yakatori talk about why he felt out of place in the village, Nisha looked at him and nodded a little as she took in his words. "Oh that it pretty cool, the Land of Iron, that is the one with the Samurai correct?, and I am sad to hear about your mother". Nisha said as she paused while he went silence as they kept walking. Nisha walking for a little Yakatori was the one to speak up again, speaking about how he had read books and decided to give it a shot when he was younger. "Oh really, when I was little I was really sick and all spent a lot of time reading about ninjas myself, so I guess we have that in common". Nisha said with a smile as she replied and then listened to Yakatori, as he said her was a sensor ninja as well, and how he wasn't sure what that meant, and neither did her really, but she had an idea. "Kind of, I haven't done much training aside from the stuff in the academy, but from that sensor ninja are mainly ninja who train in order to track people and things, and use they abilities to sense chakra using the 'Sensing Technique' to detect and track targets, and learn other stuff like tracking normally". Nisha said as they made their way into the outfitter and got they equipment, as they looked around Nisha found it a little hard decided on what she would get for her kit. "I had decided on getting the Kunai, just in case as it can be both close and long range, the tracking tags like you, and the Ninja wire rolls as it might be useful". After Nisha decided on getting the her items she gave her order to the lady who smiled after taking both of the order and smiled as she got the items together for their kits and then looked at them. "Seems both of you are going down the tracker role from the tracking tags item in common both of you got, here is some advice, get good at observing your surroundings and noticing details, that seems to be the thing that set good sensory ninja from the others". The lady said as she handed the kits over to the two new ninja, and then looked them up and down then signed and then took out a scroll from under the table and put it on the table. "Before you head off let me teach you enclosing and releasing techniques for items". The lady said as she unrolled the scroll and pressed a finger to a seal on the scroll causing a small cloud to appear and disperses into the air revealing the Shuriken she had summoned from the scroll. The lady explained the skill to the two of them and how it was used to store some equipment, and took time to setup by drawing the seal and then using chakra and a weakened version of summoning to store the item, and then when needed 'summoning' the item from the seal, and when a skilled ninja took the time to set them up it was possible to use it to create jutsu by sealing weapons and making them appear and using them, and with training one would be able to use it to seal some ninjutsu, when you have the time and ability to setup. With the lesson over and the lady telling them to get out there and begin training or do something with the day, once outside Nisha looked at Yakatori. "So what would you like to see next Yakatori?, we could do more research into Sensor and Tracking skills, maybe a simple mission if you would like to try that, maybe grab something to eat, we could also try playing hide and seek". Nisha said as she smiled waiting on Yakatori to reply. wheninvegas Howdy, how did you find quoting? Basic Jutsu RP positional abilities are basic jutsu.(It's the first post on the page) Sensing Technique ---Requirement: Role must be Sensor/Tracker. ---Description: Due to training as a sensor ninja, the user is able to sense different types of energy around them, and tell them apart using this to detect and track people. The boys second plate of food would arrive and it would last just as long as the last plate. The genin scarfed them down and soon after would ask for his check. Hajime was surely getting a little angry at his drunken misbehavior, but Kaito was a pinch too drunk to really even notice. Chugging the rest of his water, the akimichi would toss a small wad of money down and quickly jump up. "Missions you say?!" A large toothy smile appeared upon his face upon the Hajime's mission suggestion. That's what the drunk was feeling right now, gotta get those missions done so he could reach chuunin! The young aburame boy decided he had other things to attend to, where in reality was probably just disgusted being around the drunk. Juugou had every right to, being around an alcoholic at a young age probably was strange and awkward to say the least. "See ya later ya lil fella!" Kaito waved as his new acquaintance slipped out of the restaurant. "Alright alright alright, let's head on up to the mission office and see what they've got going on up there!" Shortly after Juugou had exited, Kaito and Hajime would follow. Their destination, the mission office! The trip was short yet sobering for Kaito. It always seemed like he sobered up much more quickly than the average man, probably had something to do with his kekkai genkai. The body of an Akimchi was strange to say the least. "Think I'm mostly sobered up now Hajime, perfect timing right?" Kaito chuckled as he opened up the door to enter the office, entering yet holding the door open for his companion. Wasting no time the boy would walk tot he desk, and began searching through a list of active missions. "Anything in here seem fun to you?"Kaito in a drunken stupor would soon after sneak out of the door and dash away from Hajime, leaving him in the dust. 4529 words total.

After getting their equipment Nisha and Yakatori went back to the mission office in order to find out his team, after getting into the office the two of them wait a little bit of time before getting to the office-nin who looked at them who signed as he looked at Nisha, then turned around and grabbed a note board and looked it over before telling Yakatori and Nisha they teams, and when they would be able to meet up with them, Yakatori was in Squad two as their Sensor while Nisha was in Squad three who's leader was on mission at the moment. Nisha smiled happily with Yakatori and the two headed off again deciding to learn a little more about being a Sensor ninja by speaking with some other members of the villages sensor ninja, getting tips on how to be better at using sensing abilities. With the day coming to a end the two said their goodbye and headed off to they homes, reflecting on the new friends they had made today and learning about they chosen role as ninja, and gaining information from more experienced ninja who could mentor them in the future. Throughout the day, the two learn the concepts behind tracking by noticing details in the area around them, and how to practice this training going forward, how to hide their own tracks and the use of disguises and stealth, and how to use sensing abilities to track people using chakra.

Walking one foot in front of the other, he smiled as he held his leaf village ninja headband. “This time that I have waited for so long, it has finally come.” Theodore said with excitement, looking around he stepped through the leaf village passing a small food stand, excitedly he bought a thing of pockey, it was celebration time and there wasn’t much that he wanted besides this. Taking it he munched on it and glanced around the village. He didn’t see anyone that he recognized from the class, or even in general. That was the problem with the Hidden leaf, so many people and so little knew who they all were. It was almost time for him to begin looking for a new way to do things in his life, he was curious on if he was going to get a squad soon, he really hoped so. Maybe the squad would be filled with people like him. “They all strive to be the best, and wanting to brake the chains that family has left them with.” He spoked to himself. That’s the type of squad he wanted, but who knew if that’s the one he would receive. Life was hard, and he needed someone to mentor him. Suddenly a small note landed from a bird that read, “Your new squad has been sent on a mission, leave now and you can make it.” The note said, Smiling he clapped and took off running with eagerness and a shine in his smile.
