When Hajime was finished, Sai sat back up and gave him a nod of thanks. Patting his body to see just how badly damaged he still was, he surveyed the wreckage of the road. The rest of the leaf forces were now returning to them, Yu and another shinobi were approaching faster then the rest. Once arrived, Yu immediately approached to have a whispered conversation as the other shinobi began searching through the wreckage for any of the supplies that had managed to survive the crash.

With a heavy sigh, Sai disengaged himself from the destroyed wagon. "Good job." He grunted towards the to the monk and drunk before turning away and making his way past the arriving shinobi and out onto the road leading away from the village.

Juugou spent the entire morning and most of the early afternoon asleep, having been completely exhausted by the previous night. He sat up stiffly on his bed, supporting himself on one arm and rubbing his eyes with his free hand. The young Aburame looked over at the clock n his bedside table and saw it was roughly half past 1 o'clock. Yawning mildly he got out of bed washed up and returned to his bedroom to change into fresh clothes. After making sure his headband and gear were in check he hopped out the window, dropping lightly on the roof of the shop next door. He then dropped to the street and began to walk around the village.

'The sound of flapping reaches your ears as a black crow slows it's rapid decent before landing onto your shoulder. Hopping from one foot to the other, it waits for you to take the scroll attached to one of it's legs. Once removed, the crow will immediately take flight with a parting squak.

The scroll reads...'

"You have been enlisted to represent the village in an important diplomatic mission. In three months time you will be expected to arrive in the Land of Earth to assist in a delicate matter that is of the utmost importance. This will be a joint mission with several other Hidden Village shinobi, your actions and results will reflect the strength of our Village, it is expected you will not disappoint. You will be contacted later with more detailed instructions and appropriate funds. Do not share the details of your mission."

Nisha sat at the desk in her room looking at the band that lay in the center of the desk, her fingers ran around the Leaf symbol craved, melted, etched into the cool steel of the headband, a sign of relief escaped her as she remembered getting this headband, the teacher summoning it and letting it fall into her hands, after giving her advice and telling her to have confidence in herself, passing the final exam along with Shiro, for defeating the wooden doll and sealing it. "I passed, I'm a Genin now". Nisha said and smiled as she held the headband closer to herself as she move it and tied it around her belly as she finished getting ready to head out, grabbing her jacket off her bed as she heading off to the main administration building of the village and get her team assignment.

With a skip in her step Nisha made her way down the main road leading to the center of the village, the place that she called home was located on the outer area of the village just off from the main road, her father had setup his office near the main entrance for the village, so his clients wouldn't have to travel far to finish there dealings, so they could take sometime to have a break in the village before having to head off again, and ended up buying a house near-by for his family.

Finally making her way to the main office for the villages ninja, she had taken sometime to sit in the park outside the building to calm herself and relax, like most people Nisha had visited this building in the past, it was a building that every ninja had to visit every now and then, in order to sign up for the academy you had to do it here, the mission office was here, which was where you pick up missions and receive the rewards of those mission. Nisha had visited this building a lot of time growing up, her mother worked here doing mission processing, dealing with the information brought in and sorting and reporting it, Nisha would come with her from time to time, sit under a desk or in the park outside and read books or listen to the interesting stories that the passing ninja would tell.

While getting herself ready to head inside, NIsha was shocked and looked to her shoulder as a crow landed on her, causing her to let out a loud yep sound as the crow stood on her, after the shock had settled she noticed the small scroll attached to its leg, and it would wiggle it at her from time to time while balancing, she took the scroll from the crows leg carefully and backed away as the crow took off again, opening the scroll and taking a moment to read it before putting it away in a bag on her side. 'That was weird, well looks like I have a mission to get ready for, I also need to get my team assignment so lets head in'. With a deep breath and pushing herself up onto her feet, she went into the building.

Making her way around the office, Nisha made her way to the assignment office in order to get her team placement, while speaking with the person behind the desk about what she should do before meeting up with the team as they were on a mission at the moment, he informed her to go pick up her graduation gift, and take sometime to learn about the broad fields that most ninjas fell into and what field she would feel comfortable in.

Kaito laid in agony as his semi broken body was throbbing with pain. Although he'd been through some rough training, taking a beating from an actual ninja trying to cause real harm to himself was a whole other ball game. This was something he wasn't quite used to yet, nor did he want a habit of these beatings to become a normal thing. Surely next time the Akimichi would be less nervous and more level headed to keep from getting caught off guard. The feeling of taking a beat down was a shitty one, but everyone had gotten one some time or another.

Seconds after Hajime had finished up with Sai he'd make his way over. The monk had started working his magic, piecing Kaito back together. Whatever was going on inside of him, felt strange but refreshing at the same time. It felt as though his insides were slowly piecing themselves back together, his broken bones and battered body just moments hurt like hell and now felt mostly healed up. "Holy s**t Hajime, this is amazing!" Excitement filled his voice as he sat up from his laying position. "I dont even think I'm gonna need to see the medics, I'm just gonna make a run into town and uh, visit the family ya know?" Kaito rolled over into a push up position, and slowly walked into a full standing position. It was a pretty clean action minus a little wobble he'd made while losing his balance. "Well buddy, I'll catch back up to ya tonight. Let's get some din din on me, I owe ya for patching me up!" The akimichi began to limp away, before turning back to his teammate. "Oh right, forgot to tell ya where we're headed. Meet at Yellow Tail, it's a nice little buffet down town. You'll love it! See ya about six!" Throwing a thumbs up, he'd turn around and be back on his way to his parents house. And by parents house he meant he'd be changing and hobbling his broken a** into a bar!

A couple of hours would pass from now til then, and Kaito could be found slamming ridiculous amounts of sake in his favorite little hole in the wall bar just down the street from his home. It was a well known fact the Akimichi were able to stuff down ridiculous amounts of food, the lesser known fact was they were just as good, possibly better at drinking! The drunkard was usually the life of the party, not today though. His body wouldn't permit him to get up and mingle with the inhabitants of said bar, thus sitting and chatting with the bartender was more up his alley today. Looking over to the clock though, he'd realize that it was nearly time for his bro date with Hajime. Slowly, surely, Kaito would pay his tab and stumble off to the Yellow Tail.

Normally the walk would have taken just ten minutes, it took the boy twice that to reach his destination. His vision had gotten pretty fuzzy at this point, but Kaito would do his best to not show how far gone he'd gotten. "Gotta keep my composure, don't want Hajime giving me hell for drinking after he'd bought that lettuce to keep me from drinking..." Mumbling these words, he'd look ahead to see Hajime already waiting for him. "H-hey man!" His words came with a slight slur, maybe or maybe not enough to expose his drunken stupor. "Hopefully you haven't been waiting too long, lost track of ti-" Kaito's sentence cut short as he'd lost balance, crashing into a fellow with shaggy long hair whom was casually passing by. "Shiiiiiiiit... My covers blown..." The genin grabbed ahold of the stranger trying to catch himself, instead pulling him to the ground with him. The drunk would quickly roll over scratching his head. "Oh man, looks like I should've maybe gotten patched up earlier.. Heh Heh.."

Hajime watched listlessly as Sai left. He wasn't sure where he was going, or why he would be going, but he watched all the same. Hajime knew that there was something odd about Sai- but he couldn't put his finger on the pulse. It was a mystery, but a mystery for another day, perhaps. Kaito's eager appreciation caught Hajime's attention. He waved his hand dismissively, "It's nothing, I swear. Simply first aid techniques. You really should... er..." Hajime shrugged. If Kaito sprained something running around town, it was out of Hajime's hands at that point. Hajime watched him go next and gave a slight nod, "Yellow Tail it is, then."

Hajime spent the following hours with the extended team. He got some flak from Yu, mostly for the actions of the two missing-in-action team members. He spent quite a lot of time explaining what occurred and why there was a ninja pasted to the wall. After that, he did it all again, but on a paper scroll at the Mission offices. It was evening by time he left for the Yellow Tail.

On his way to the restaurant, Hajime was approached by a particularly forward black bird. He read its message, nodded, and watched it as it flew away. There was more work to do.

Hajime found himself at the Yellow Tail in quite some time. He didn't really know the way. When he arrived, he found that he still somehow beat Kaito there. He didn't wait long before he noticed someone with a familiar drunken gait. It was Kaito.

Hajime stared at him as he approached, slurring his speech, and nearly collapsing on some innocent bystander. "You're drunk, aren't you?" Hajime asked almost rhetorically. Hajime sighed, "Why don't we find you a place to sit and sober up?"

Yakatori Yomi

Yakatori had a grin plastered on his face from ear to ear “I’ve finally done it” he thought “I am a ninja.” After he left the academy he was at a loss of what to do next. He pulled off his headband and took a second to appreciate passing the test. He had been so nervous and stressed about preparing for it that he didn’t know what to do with himself now that he had achieved his goal. Placing the headband back around his neck he looked at the village around him. Since he had moved here he had ether been studying at home or training with Gal; he had yet to explore the village that he had now sworn to protect. “What to do first?” He had heard that Genin are able to pick up a few weapons to get them started. But the blacksmith was on the other side of town. Yakatori eyed a small bench in a park not far from the admission office.

He sat down and let out a sigh of relief. “I wonder who is going to be on my team? Or who the other Genin are? I wonder if some of them will be good for a laugh or will they all be the serious type.” In the corner of his eyes he small villagers giving him some weird looks, he would probably do the same if he saw some crazy person talking to himself on a park bench. He kicked his feet out and slouched on the bench, when he gained the energy he would make his way over to the blacksmith and maybe swing by the Hokage’s office and get better acquainted with the village. He didn't understand why it was called a village this place is huge. It was much bigger then the town he lived in back home. “Home” he thought. Yakatori embraced his new life but he missed his home. He closed his eyes and day dreamt about hunting with his Dad, training with the clan, of helping out his Mom. The thought of her filled him with regret and sadness. “If I had been strong enough maybe I could have saved her and others, maybe I would be still home.” The caw of a crown snapped him back to his surroundings. He tilted his head back and looked into the sky to see what all of the fuss was about. The crow seemed to be diving right for him “maybe my lack of sleep is making me see things.” The bird seemed like it was going going to crash directly into him before it pulled up suddenly flapped his wings a few times and landed on Yakatori shoulder. He blinked a few times staring eye to eye with the beast “well it looks real and certainly feels real….wait a minute, what the hell is going on ?!?!?” Before the freak out had left his mind and settled into reality, he noticed a small scroll attached to the crow’s leg. “For me?” he asked, as if crows could talk, but he felt like the bird wanted him to take it. He untied the scroll from the bird's leg and once it was free from the message it spread it wings and flew off. “Cool” he whispered to himself as he watched his messenger friend fly off into the horizon. He unrolled the scroll and silently read it to himself, he finished and tucked the note in the inner pocket of his jacket. “My first mission” he thought as his smile slowly engulfed his face. “I wondered if they are all delivered like that” he had hoped so, it certainly was a good way of getting the word out. He leaned forward in his seat, well I guess now is as good of time as any to start looking for people. His head moved back and forth scanning for anyone with a headband “now I wonder where would be the best place to start looking?”

Juugou had been lost in thought, thinking of potential missions he could undertake when his stomach began to growl. Luckily he was surrounded by a number of restaurants, but the hunger the young Aburame felt made it hard for him to decide on something specific.

Jeez, this is so annoying... he thought, stopping briefly to consider the available options. Unknown to Juugou a guy had begun to run just a few paces behind and ended up bumping into him causing him to lose balance. What made it worse was that whoever had bumped into him decided to grab onto his shirt, which caused Juugou to fall as well. "Ow.." he muttered as he rubbed the back of his head. A moment later the Aburame realized that he had fallen right on top of the person that had pulled him down, and that his face was really close to the other boy's. What made Juugou recoil wasn't this realization, but the reek of alcohol on the guy's breath. The drunk rolled over and said something about getting patched up. The Aburame cocked his head to the side, surprised that anyone would be s**t-faced so early in the evening and asked, "Are you hurt?" A man in monk's clothing approached them from nearby and spoke to the drunk man, asking him if he was drunk. The way he said it made it sound to Juugou as if they knew each other. He stood up, dusted himself off and extended a hand down to the fallen drunk to help pull him up. "Do you know this man, sir?" he asked the newcomer as he helped the drunk walk over to a nearby bench for him to sit, all the while holding his breath to avoid inhaling the alcohol fumes and praying that it didn't stick to his clothes.

Kaito chuckled while being basically carried over to a bench. "Man sake really sneaks up on ya!" A violent sounding belch escaped his mouth, leaving a foul odor trail in the air. "I can't believe I'm this drunk already, my bad man. I've only drank like nine or ten glasses! That's nothing to an Akimichi!" The boy collapsed onto the bench while rolling his head back to face the sky. "Sorry about dirtying up all your clothes, Hajime here and I have had a hell of a day, needed to relieve some stress so I decided to have a few." The drunk turned his attention back towards his teammate who was most likely not too happy with his behavior. "Yeah so uh... I thought about using the plant thingy you got me err but uh..... Sake just sounded better my bad my bad." Kaito really didn't feel very badly about it at all, he didn't want to quit drinking! Eating those leaves to stop him from drinking was like going to a steakhouse and eating a salad, that just wasn't going to fly for him.

The genin sat his head back up, shaking it back and forth viciously trying to get his vision back straight. Obviously he hadn't any luck doing so, but sitting was really helping him out. Kaito looked at the strangers clothes seeing he'd dirtied them up by basically tackling to the ground, he felt like he owed the guy one for not being a total d**k about it, even though he had every reason and right to do so. Kaito began to brush the dirt off the mans shirt the best he couldm before opening his dumb drunken mouth once more. "So yeah hey buddy, you wanna get lunch with us? I'll pay I owe ya one, we're hitting up yellow tail. I'm sure you've been right?" Kaito hopped from the bench, somehow managing to land on his feet. "Let's go let's go!" And just like that, with no looking back the drunk would manage his way inside of the restaurant without falling over or even crashing into another stranger. What an amazing feat. He really had no choice though, he couldn't afford to pay for a fourth person's food.

The genin stormed straight to the front desk slurring the words "Booth for three babe." To a young girl, whom obviously responded with a repulsive look and "....Right this way." in a tone that would fit a young cute girl who probably didn't enjoy getting hit on by stupid drunken people. She would navigate them to a both towards the back, away from people for obvious reasons. "I'm gonna take the solo side, guys. Oh and water please!" Kaito gave a stupid teethy grin to the waitress, as she'd take the rest of the trio's drink orders before scooting away. 'So uh, stranger guy. What's your name?"

Hajime shrugged towards the newcomer, and allowed Kaito to explain in his drunken way. Soon finding it to be unsatisfactory, Haajime added to Kaito's explanation, "We're in a ninja cell together, as of yesterday." He sniffed, the scent of alcohol strong in his nostrils, "I swear, though, I've seen this man drunk more hours than not in these past twenty four."

The monk wore black and green Buddhist robes. The coloring was a bit odd, but it suited his odd demeanor in an odd way. His eyes were sharp and steely, his complexion pale but clean. On the top of his head, he wore a wide sedge hat that left his face in constant, consistant shadow.

"He can't be too badly injured now. I prevented the worst wounds he would have suffered in our mission, and healed the rest." Hajime said this with an air of boredom. He clearly didn't think much of protecting two teammates from the runaway cart and healing them just hours before.

"Yes,Yes," The monk agreed with a sigh, "The Yellow Tail it is then."

Soon, they arrived at Yellow Tail. Hajime sat opposite Kaito, next to the wall. He gazed across the restaurant. He squinted at their far off board near the front of the venue, then looked over his menu, "No vegetarian options, of course." To the waitress, he ordered, "A water for me as well. I'll just have whatever rolls you have on hand. Bread rolls, I mean. Not fish or shrimp, thank you."

Once their new acquaintance had ordered, Hajime shifted to the side to look over this shinobi, and extended a hand, "Sorry, my teammate here should have introduced us by now. I am Hajime Takenaka, of the Fire Temple. This is Kaito."

The drunk guy belched and made a comment, more to himself than anyone, about drinking around ten shots of sake and revealing himself as an Akimichi. He then slumped down on the bench and apologized for dirtying Juugou's clothes. The drunk then went on to explain that himself and Hajime, who Juugou understood was the monk, had a rough day and needed to take a load off. Getting drunk was his way of going about this. He then turned to Hajime and apologized for not taking a plant the monk had given him earlier, stating that sake sounded like a better option.

It was at this time that Hajime cut in, explaining that he and the drunk were on a ninja team that had been formed the day before, and in all that time his team mate was drunk for the majority of the time they had spent together. Juugou noticed that Hajime didn't look too thrilled about this fact, and to be honest he didn't blame him. The monk went on to explain that he treated some of the wounds that the drunk had sustained on a mission they had gone on earlier in the day, which perked up Juugou's interest. "I see... so you're a medic-nin!" The young Aburame was about to ask more about the monk, but raised an eyebrow when he felt the drunk trying to dust him off. "Oh, you don't need to do that." he said while staying the man's hand. The drunk then invited him to join them for lunch at the Yellow Tail as payback for messing up his shirt. Juugou had been there a few times with his family so he knew how good the food was. "If you insist, i'd be happy to join you." he replied with a smile, thankful that the man was kind enough to pay for a stranger.

The drunk hopped up and led the way a short distance to the restaurant, surprisingly managing to avoid bumping into any people or objects. Once at the Yellow Tail the drunk barged in and requested a booth for three. A young girl who was not thrilled about the brash way the drunk had conducted himself reluctantly led the trio to a booth near the back. The drunk took a side to himself while Hajime took the wall. Juugou slid in next to the monk. "I will also have a water and an order of Fish and Chips, please?" he said, smiling apologetically to the waitress. She nodded and left after jotting down their orders. The drunk asked the young Aburame for his name, but Hajime interjected by extending his hand for a shake and formally introducing himself and Kaito. "I'm Juugou Aburame, also a ninja since yesterday. Nice to meet you Hajime." he said shaking the monk's hand firmly. He then extended his arm across the table for Kaito to shake. "And Kaito, thanks again for treating me out to lunch."

Boo, sorry about not noticing, let's play

Nisha made her way out of the main office and into the main road, she had been given a note from the office to give to the blacksmith in order to get a set of equipment for herself, and some places around the village that might be useful for learning about the different roles that ninjas fall into, with her head down looking at the note she didn't notice the person standing in the road and ran into him being knocked off balance and falling over onto her butt. "Omph". She said as the shock of the fall, was sent though her body and then look up at what she had ran into, as she pushed off the ground and got to her feet.

"Sorry about that I wasn't looking where I was going". Nisha said a little embarrassed as she stood up, a weak smile on her face as she stood beside him, brushing herself off she dusted her headband that she had elected to wear like a belt rather then around her head, and looked over the man before her. "Sorry about that, I'm Nisha Azuma, newly graduated Genin". Nisha said collecting herself, and standing up again, still holding the note in her hand about things she could do while waiting on a team assignment.

"Hey hey! No problem youngin!'" Obviously he was referring to Juugou as the other two were quite a bit older. "Grab whatever you guys want, you can order from the menu but it's all you can eat!" His voice rang through the air with pure joy, what a beautiful restaurant this was. Kaito needed to watch out for that though, last time he'd visited here the owner chased him out yelling 'The sign says all you can eat, not all you can eat all day long!' If he were kicked out once more surely he'd be kicked out of this wonderful establishment permanently. Kaito would order shortly after Juugou, deciding on breaded shrimp.

Shortly after ordering, the waitress would return leaving the drinks behind as she snuck away. "Aburame huh? You guys do stuff with bugs right?" The drunk asked shortly after slurping down half his water. Kaito would lean back and crack his back over the back of the booth as a long yawn escaped his mouth. Between the alcohol and lack of sleep, not to mention the beating he'd took earlier he was pretty darn exhausted. "Have you heard anything from Sai?" Obviously he was addressing Hajime but probably should have mentioned so in the first place to leave the newcomer out of the dark.

The trio would conversate over the next several minutes or so, and soon the waitress would arrive with their food. She'd place the plates down quickly and scoot away once again without saying much of anything. She obviously didn't want to deal with their table, Kaito to be exact. Wasting no time the aburame would engulf his first shrimp, quite literally he shoved the shrimp AND the tail into his big stupid mouth viciously chomping the shrimp into millions of little pieces. "Oh hot diggity damn, these shrimp. So perfect..." Surely he'd tear through the rest in no time, another plate would be requested as the waitress walked through again. She shook her head as she walked away from disgust. "I think she's into me guys, what do ya think?!" Obviously, it was starting to show that Kaito wasn't very good at reading peoples mannerisms.

He shook Juugo's hand as his extention of peace was received. Hajime nodded at the man who was still a stranger to him. After their orders were all put in, Hajime made a bit of small talk. Nonchalantly, he informed the young man, "You were correct before, by the way. I am the medic ninja of our ninja cell. I've been studying the ways of healing techniques and protection techniques from both shinobi and the shinobi monks of the Fire Temple. Though- in my learning, I have learned a few more dangerous methods that I do hesitate to unleash."

Hajime waved his hand dismissively at Kaito, "Just bread for me. There's nothing on the menu that interests me, I'm afraid." He then shook his head, "No. I've heard nothing of Sai. I spent most of time that you were with family and drinking working with the rest of our teammates wrap up that last mission." He said this with a resentful sting. His tone softened as he continued, "Sai is a mysterious one, and I can relate to him to some degree. I feel that he had something close and personal to do outside of the village, but I can't imagine what. Perhaps, like you, he went to visit family or friends." He shook his head dismissively at the thought, "With broken ribs and dislocated joints... hmm. Perhaps not. Regardless, I'm sure he's fine, injured or otherwise."

Their food was soon served. Hajime ate his plain bread, and watched Kaito eat with an aura of disgust around him. Kaito ate ravenously, like a starved dog. He was the face of gluttony, and, it seemed, lust. The monk tore off a bit of bread and ate it slowly, losing his appetite somewhat, It's like he's eating for two - himself and a wolf in his stomach. The monk shrugged, "I think your drink is into you. Our waitress is clearly not interested."

Yakatori Yomi

Yakatori was to be in his own world before he was suddenly knocked off balance. “Another crow?” He thought to himself, they did seem like an efficient way to get the word out. He turned just quick enough to see the girl hit the ground. “Oh no! What did I do!” he was on the job for a few minutes and he was already knocking people over. Before he had the chance to apologize, the lady quickly stood up and apologized to him.

No need to apologize” Yakatori said nervously “ I shouldn’t be standing in the middle of the street anyway, I’m so sorry.” He bowed promptly again before fully realizing what the young lady had said. “Did you say you just graduated? No way! Me too!” he was overflowing with excitement she was the first ninja that he had met since the academy. He stretched out his hand to the lady “Please to meet you! I just graduated as well, the name is Yakitori Yomi, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” He sized her up quickly “I wonder what kind of abilities or techniques she uses” he pondered to himself, he noticed the note she had been holding and motioned to it I hope I didn’t interrupt your errands.”She looked pretty normal to him, she seemed to be his age and around his height. There was something about her eyes that seemed off, the white of her eyes made it look like she was blind but he knew she could see him."

This perplexed him a bit but Gal had told him of countless ninja’s with different natural born abilities so maybe she had one of them.“Would it be weird to ask about her eyes?” he thought to himself “I better not I already knocked this lady over there is no need to add insult to injury." Yakatori hoped that he hadn’t of pissed off the first other Genin he met; However, anxiousness was overturned to joy. He was just happy that he had met another ninja around his age.
