"Sirrush? Oh how very interesting. I do recall a legend of one Sirrush, or otherwise referred to as Mushussu, depicted on the ancient Ishtar Gates of Babylon. You must be a very old dragon to to be of his clutch... or just have a pretentious grandsire to name your father that. However..." she tilted her head to the side. "I'm getting sidetracked from tha task at hand. We shall have to talk later about your origins." Salkuriatha continued to stay where she was, guarding the pieces of paper, suddenly seeming to re-evaluate Sa-ar whom she'd simply labeled as a brute before. It would do well to let those in their human forms do all of the work. "Hmm yes a flat rock would be more useful than a log, unless of course you cut the log into a shape that would work well." Salkuriatha took a moment to glance skywards through the forest canopy. There had to be a way to give these dragons the slip, but crafty as she thought she was, it wasn't likely. Perhaps she'd just need to leave the notes in their care and go make copies to finally deliver.
Sa-ar tensed noticeably as Salkuriatha began to talk about Akkadian mythology. He did not really offer to help find something for Grael procure the papers out of the sand, as such menial tasks he felt were below him. Furthermore, he was contemplating giving the wingless whelp a lashing in his true form to speak so lightly and irreverently of his sire. "I will not speak such topics with an blathering infidel. Until you learn to curb your speech to be more worthy of such topics, I will not open discussion on them." Sa-ar used his pomp to try and hide how sore of a spot his father was, although it was he who had brought it up.

Samatha quietly left the cave, in her dragon form, as her guardian slept. Her stuffed rabbit hanged by it's ear from her mouth as she kept her head down. Once out of the cave she took to the skies as quickly as she could. Samatha was heading for the shore knowing most humans could be found there. Landing in the forest on the edge of the shore, she took to her human form. Picking up her stuff rabbit, Samatha finished making her way to the shore. "Rabbie. I am going to ask them why I have to stay away from humans." She looked at her stuff rabbit and then at the water. "I think mommy and daddy will come home to day." She smiled as she headed for the inn. "Don't you think so, Rabbie?" She asked the stuffed rabbit.

Myia thought. 'He has a point.' She bit her lower lip and sighed. "You have got a point." She sighed. "But I can't disappear either because she may find someone to replace me or hunt me down. And I don't want her to use another person." She placed her hand on her head. "Most likely that person will not know the true Lillia."

Kai glanced at the blue dragon and shrugged, "I don't know, I hardly know anything that goes on in his head." He was around Eclipse long enough to notice small changes and was guessing Ci'nala didn't really trust people..at least not as much as Achiu and Eclipse.
Eclipse thought for another moment, "I've seen some humans talk to little noisy plastic things...maybe you could bring one here for Kai to use?

Ci'nala bowed her head, then perked up on the boys' conversation. "Y'know I heard a rumor that the lab you boys are talking about is on the other side of this here forest. But don't quote me on that."

((You’re right KuroSeiryu. I’m sorry: I must have read over it too quickly and missed the fairly obvious pointy rocks at the bottom. I don’t know how I could have been so stupid, I’m sorry: I’ll change it.))
Having left her home two weeks ago, the freedom and independence that had original swelled inside of her was slowly starting to wane. Her dips into the clear expanse of the ocean and her trips through the fluffy clouds creating ice crystals in her wake were slowly decreasing. Her destination was one that had only been hinted at in the harsh conditions of the Arctic Circle. An island that could be home to dragons where humans accepted them, and let them live in peace. Melira had only seen a handful of the two-leggers, so she didn’t have much of an opinion of them past the legends passed down the generations of her clan. Only rumors from traveling dragons, passing through on to this mystical place gave any hint to its treasures. It hadn’t existed long enough for the older dragons to have explored it during their training years.
During her flight, great imaginings of safe, warm lakes, green plants that tower over even the oldest dragon, and mountains to explore filled her mind, inspiring her to continue, instead of stopping at a semi populated area to reside. Before she could even see her destination, the soft scent of growth tickled her nose. She’d seen coniferous trees growing with their prickly needles for any foolish enough to seek shelter near one. But the island before her was full of growth thick enough for her to hide in: in her mind, the rumors were dearly understated. Circling high, hidden by the fluffy clouds, she looked for enough of a clearing to land in. She could see the lake she was hoping to reach from the heavens, so she landed near it. Though she was young, she knew barging into an unknown place could get you killed. Pausing a moment, she took in her surroundings. There seemed to be one dragon, and two humans, though not together. Shouldn’t there be more dragons than humans. Shaking her head, she figured if need be she’d just eat one human, to change the overall population. Though she’d encountered a few harmless humans searching the polar ice caps, she’d only eaten one fool. She’d simply ended his suffering sooner as he’d gotten separated from the rest of his clan. He hadn’t tasted very good: too little meat, way too much fluffy fur, if that was what she was to call it. So she didn’t actually look forward to eating the creatures, just didn’t mind doing what could be necessary.
Melira had been greatly tutored on the protocol of most dragons, though in her clan it was unnecessary. Fighting was a waste of energy near the Pole. Only males ready to leave would even try it. However, she knew she needed to make herself known to the elder dragon, and practically purred a greeting. Harshness seemed silly, as all she wanted waste to lie down on that lake bottom. Perhaps find a nice den beneath the water, in a cave slowly eroded by its constant movement. ((I do hope this is better...))

((I'm actually a bit surprised Kai or Ci'nala haven't asked about Max's arm yet...)) Max looked up at the other human. "They might, but then again they might also shoot us, take us prisoner, or something else just as bad." He said, thinking of other possible vile things that those scientists would do other than to dragons. When the blue dragon spoke, Maximillion looked up at her, before looking back to Kai as he responded, then back to Ci'nala when she spoke in return. He thought for a few moments, before nodding. "Yeah, that sounds about right. We flew for a while, we even weren't sure if Achiu would make it with how drugged he was..." He said, remembering the bit of worry he had for the dragon at that time. Back near the forest, the man had crossed the treeline a while ago, and was silently making his way, the only sounds coming from him were his footsteps. It was not too long before he would begin to draw close to a small lake, and a dark-scaled dragon would soon be able to hear, and smell the approaching human.

Samatha raced down the beach while holding her stuff rabbit by her right hand. "Look at all the people!" She said cheerily. Only being around her guardian made her bored quite often mostly because he wouldn't play with her. She giggled as she made her way onto the dock as a ship came in. "Wow its big." She said looking up at it. "Rabbie, do you think mommy and daddy could be on that ship?" She asked looking down at the stuff rabbit. She tilted her head before looking back up. "Hello!" She wave at the humans with the hand that held her stuff rabbit. "Greetings!" She was smiling the biggest smile a child could. When the human started to wave back, Samatha started to jump. "Yeah!" Her smile started to fade away as she lost grip of her stuffed rabbit. "Rabbie!" She watched it as it was in the air. "I'm..." She stopped herself because she was going to transform. 'No no I can't do that.' She thought as she watched her stuffed animal fall into the water. "No." She frowned and dashed over to the side. "Here Rabbie!" She laid down on her stomach and reached out for the stuffed animal before in sank from getting water logged. "I almost got you!" Samatha's fingers brushed the nose of the stuffed rabbit. Carefully she moved her upper body off the dock to be able to reach. "Got you." She had gotten a hold of its arm. She started to pull it up, but the extra weight from the water soaked rabbit threw off her balance she had making her fall into the water. "Help!" She said as she held on the the rabbit. She kicked her legs and moved her arm. as she looked around. The humans on the ship were throwing a fit.

((@just before an eclipse: My eclipse is in a lake to meet with a human, his den is in one of the mountains many caves..
@Maxeon X: Kai's both slow and doesn't like to pry with people he's friends with. ~excuse for my absent mindedness~))
Kai tilted his head at the thought of the possibilities, then shook his head, "I donno...they're main targets are dragons, and how else would a handful of people know the bases location and one of the scientists if they weren't invited?" He asked, then noticed that glint from before didn't come from a watch like he thought it did. ".....um..has your arm always been like that?"
Even with his 'ears' mostly underwater, Eclipse still heard another set of footsteps coming closer.. the Myia girl said there was one following her, the steady beat of her heart told him she spoke the truth, "..be cautious girl...another hume is getting closer to this lake..."

((Ci'nala isn't one to pry. Since she doesn't interact with humans much, she never feels the need to ask questions.)) "Like I said," she stated with a yawn, "it's just a rumor. I don't talk a whole lot with other dragons much, mind you and I heard that a while ago." She rested her head on her claws and saw the arm, which she shrugged off.

Though grael was slightly amused at Sa-ar's defensiveness she had enough sense not to show it. She was however annoyed that neither of her companions seemed in any way inclined to help finding something to lift the papers. She refused to be someones work horse, since it was the small dragon who didn't want to stay, whereas she could wait here until the papers were completely dry.
She settled for looking around as they talked, without actually doing anything. Even in its small form the dragon woud be far better at lifting heavy things like rocks than she was in her current human state anyways, and she did not have the room nor the will to change into her true form on land.

Myia looked at the water. "A cellphone." She said. "Yeah that could work." She smiled lightly then turned her head at the warning Eclipse gave. "Who is there?" She said to keep herself calm. 'Oh god what if this person works for Lillia?' She frowned as she waited for the person to come into view.
Lillia reached the inn to see a little girl on the docks waving at the in coming people. 'Aw how cute.' She thought. 'Not.' She watched for a little bit longer only to see the child lose her stuffed animal. She laughed quietly as she made her way over. "Dang kid." She hissed after seeing her fall over. She ran over after grabbing some rope. "Grab a hold." She hissed tossing one end out to the child. Once, the child had a good grip Lillia pulled her back to the dock and up onto it.

Salkuriatha widened her eyes a little at being ostracised by Sa-ar, but then settled back to her constant look of boredness. Her heavily lidded yellow eyes glanced around lazily at the surrounding area. Then she finally began to move. Picking up her muddied feet she ambled over closer to Grael. "Even in the sun it may take a while to dry. As I said I'm in no urgent hurry, but the longer I wait, I soon will be in. And I hate to be rushed. If you can get those papers dried and perserved, come back to this river tomorrow and I will meet you here and read them for you."
Sa-ar had nothing more to say. Salkuriatha dropped the subject, and nothing was being done. Their plan was to wait. While Sa-ar actually did not mind biding his time, it was the fact they were being made to wait at the convenience of an inferior and irreverent creature. He turned to Grael. "It would seem your business will take even longer. I think I shall take my leave for now." He could not abide staying in this form any longer. In the past he usually only used it when attending festivals and ceremonies his people held in his honour, or when visiting the temples the erected to worship him, but did not make quite large enough for him to fit.
((I might, MIGHT being the operative, be busy this coming week, so I'm making my characters scarce just in case.))

Maximillion looked at Kai, and nodded. He did make a good point. The scientists were isolated, that was for sure, it was a wonder that Max even found the lab, whether it be one of their main ones or not. "But, What if they ask for some identification or something similar? We can't come up with that stuff on the spot!" He said, finding the one loophole in Kai's logic. However, there wasn't much else to the argument before Kai asked Max about his arm. At the question, the boy looked down at the arm, holding it up a little bit to look at it better. "Not always. It was a while ago that this happened, last time I was here on the island, infact. I got careless and ended up badly injured. Nothing was damaged beyond repair, except my arm-" He moved his hand up, placing his index finger against his temple, pointing out the right eye. "-and my eye. But it didn't set me back too far, 'cept last time I was here, I never got to see a dragon up close. And look at me now! I've met three!" He said with a happy tone. Meanwhile the man had just pushed past the last line of trees and brush that had blocked him from being within view from the lake, muttering to himself. "I probably should have asked for better directions, or at least where he was headed... Oh well, once I get close enough the..." He paused as he happened to look up at that moment, seeing the girl by the lake. After a moment, he took a few steps towards her, but kept his distance, not wanting her to be more worried than she already looked. "Hello there! Are you alright?" He asked, wanting to know if something had happened to have her way out in the forest. After a few moments, he remembered his reason for even being out here. "Um, hey, have you seen a kid by the name of 'Maximillion'? Black hair, blue eyes, an arm that sticks out like a sore thumb? Any info you could give would be most appreciated."
