As he searched through the various aisles growing more impatient by the second, he at last looked up to see Athena's eyes scowling at him from behind a copy of The Iliad.

"About time I found you," he said walking over to her and taking the book from her hands. He looked the book over for a moment before tossing the book on the table.

"So, have you found out anything here with your nose in the books? Anything about how we can regain our godhood and retake Olympus?" he asked her oblivious to the fact that she had no memory of her former divine status.

"And has it happened to everyone?" he asked. "I mean, as far as I know, all I did was wake up in the hospital and here I am mortal. At first I figured it had to have been Hermes playing a trick, but with our meeting with the Norse and now this, someone clearly doesn't want us on Olympus for some reason."

Here and there, angered people gave the two cold looks by the regular voice Ares was using. Clearly, his entrance had caused quite a stir for such a quiet place and it wasn't going to be long before the head librarian was thinking about asking them to leave.

Alan laughed a little at her story. "Now that's odd because my first words were actually 'Sister' and 'Moon' I didn't really get the mythological connection until now..." Alan said.

"Excuse me, what are you talking about?" Sophie looked at the biker scornfully, grabbing her book back. "I don't even know you. I could give you many answers to your questions, which make no sense, by the way, if you want answers, but most of them include 'I don't care.' It's great that random bikers have heard of my knowledge," she said, rolling her eyes, "But just leave."

Alis shrugged ad walked out of the throne room. She really didn't care about this Loki dude, or the matters of Zeus, for all that. She wanted to leave Olympus for a while. She didn't really want to face Loki or the Valkyries again, and who knows how long Zeus would be gone? She packed some 10th Grade Grammar books into a bag, snapped her fingers, and transported herself (one of the few powers that minor gods had) to a small town. She would become a 10th Grade English teacher at their High School, she decided. They were in sore need of a good English teacher.
She walked around the town, past the Archery Range and the Library, to the High School. She walked into the office and said to the secretary there, "Hello, my name is Alice Olympias, and I would like to apply for the job of 10th grade English teacher.
The Secretary blinked and started to say, "But Ms. Olympia, we already have--"
Alis snapped her fingers and convinced everyone (even the English teacher herself) that Miss Haney was about to go on maternity leave.

((I'm assuming this takes place sometime in the middle of the school year. Or about a month in, maybe it's October...I don't know. I just want Alis to end up being Sophie's teacher.))

Alan laughed, he looked at the sky it looked cloudly like it was going to rain and a few raindrops hit his head, "Hey do you mind if we talk some place different it looks like it might rain. We could go to the library since it's close."

Alan lead her to his car, he was wondering if she thought it was cool because he liked to impress people with it. For some reason though he didn't really get the urge to talk about it and get complimented for it with Aly. He figured it was probably because they had some kind of sibling connection going on.

He just moved his guitar to the back seat so she could sit in the front. They drove to the library and walked into it.

Alan had been to that library a ton of times since he was a kid but this was the first time it sounded active and people were talking in there. It seemed out of place for a library Alan thought to himself.

Ala thought it was cool how Aly brought in her bow and arrows. He thought about what she'd use them for if a fight broke out. He laughed to himself. Maybe I should've brought my guitar to hit somebody with.

He and Aly walked toward the arguing people. He saw a big biker looking guy arguing with a bookish girl who seemed annoyed.

A crowd was beginning to gather around Sophie and the biker. She saw many annoyed-looking librarians and the twins from the Archery Range (at least, she assumed they were twins.) "Just leave me alone," she said to the biker. "I don't want anything to do with you, Ares." Ares? Why did I call him that?
