"When will you prove me different?" He said shifting uncomfortably under her, but his voice and face remained nonchalant and blank.

I don't know. Probably never. I'll just remain the person I've always been. Shaylene stood up and left the living room, wandering down a hall looking for the front door.

V should have known he'd upset her and now he felt like crap. Great! He stood up and followed her grabbing her arm. "Wait. I was only picking at you. I'm sorry. You can hit me if you want. You don't have to go."

Shaylene pulled her hood up and then licked her lips quickly. I don't want to hit you. She decided, though she pulled her arm away. And I never said I was leaving. I just would like to know where the door is.

V sighed. "Guess I deserve that." He mumbled. He lead her down the hall into a foyer. At the end there was a fancy and window collage on the double doors of heavy metal. "This is it."

I-I'm sorry. Shaylene told him, slipping her hand into his. She looked at the door for a moment and then nodded. It always made her feel better to know what doors lead out of a house incase she had to leave quickly.

He looked at her and gave a small smile. He wondered why she'd become so paranoid. But he slammed his automatic mind reach and turned away. "Well, don't worry about it." He was trying to fill the silence so he could ignore her thoughts.

((Holy crow, Im watching Robot Chicken and just, Gosh. It's probably the stupidest show ever. Just thought I'd share that.))
Shaylene dropped her hood and then shifted from one foot to the other.
((And, now I have writers block.))

(( Oh... I just finished watching FMA... Damned reruns. ))
V looked at her, but was trying not to read her. "Uh, c'mon back. Hungry? Um, Thirsty? Wait, you have coffee already? Want a refill?" He could hear himself rambling, but couldn't stop.

Ah, no I'm fine. Thank you though. Shaylene followed Vitae back to the livingroom, her hands clasped behind her back for apparent reason.

V bit his lip. Trying to fill the silence. His actions might seem sparatic and unnecessary but, he knew she hated him invading her mind and if he made enough ruckus, her thoughts wouldn't be on broadcast. "Want to listen to some music?"

Laura looked around but saw no sign of the group she tampered with earlier. She mentally sighed because in her current form it was quite impossible to do. she was about to turn around and head to her lab when she spotted a vehicle moving at speeds cops would have a fit over. Cocking her head she was curious to see what maniac could be driving like that this late. Following the vehicle she found to to lead to an extraordinary home. And with a stroke of fate who was to get out but the vampire and the human shape shifter...
Human! So part of her experiment did work. She was about to make a entrance when the two paced into the home's. she'd have to find another way to get to the female if she ever hoped to discover if she had any side effects.

But this place looked to be one that would not be best to waltz right into. she circled the house a few times until she caught a glimpse of the two she was looking for. In her distracted state she tried to land on a tree branch with her cloths still in her talons. She let out a screech and dropped her clothes to the ground. Flapping her wings she finally grabbed hold of her perch. Of all the golden eagles in the world she looked the dumbest in that moment.

We could. Shaylene said, nodding. A screech brought her attention around to the window and looked at the eagle. Shaylene frowned, fingers traveling up to her lips.

V's attention was also directed at the eagle. "Looks kind of stupid." He commented. Finally giving up looking for a distraction.
