What happened to all the interviews, I enjoy the reviews but, the interviews were a big part of this topic, and it made it really unique too...

That's T's job.

Good to see everything has gone well at that Nintendo thing T, also that Gameboy is awesome.

I think I'm gonna leave things to you for a while, I can see some people are getting sick of me posting in this thread (at least with reviews.)

How much is that worth, anyway?

It goes to show how much work goes into everything Nintendo makes. I once read a story of a GCN getting dropped off an speeding SUV (75mp/h IIRC) and was completely functional afterwards, granted it doesn't live up to that Gameboy's story, but its still pretty impressive.

Can't play it yet. That idiot brother of mine made me zap off the power in my room. Him and his sodding vacuum cleaner... stressed

Adults really aren't the sharpest tack in the shed at times... of couse, with my folks, that may be the king of understatements...

Truer words couldn't be spoken. But hey as long as we all get MK Wii it it's all good! Means more opponents to bowl over with STAR POWUH!

All that aside, here's a fresh interview!

I'm chatting with Master_Glink about why he loves the Harvest Moon series!

"I see you like the Harvest Moon series. Why?"

Master_Glink
Well, I've always liked the down-to-earth feel of the game, and the feeling that you've traveled to a rural town, devoid of most technology. Kind of like you're left to fend for yourself, out on your own and developing your own story. It also gives you a break from your regular videogames which are usually based around technology and fending off evil or saving the world. In Harvest Moon you kind of take a break from all of that as you retire to the countryside in peace to settle down, plant a few crops, maybe get married relax.

"That sounds fanastic. I've played a bit of HM myself. it was the two titles for the Gamecube. But you sir, which have you played?"

Master_Glink
Here I would like to say I have played them all, but I came to know Harvest Moon with the N64, I've enjoyed Friends of Mineral Town, A Wonderful Life, Save The Homeland, Back to Nature, Harvest Moon DS, Magical Melody and the one recently released for the SNES on the Virtual Console. I have to say that I enjoyed all of them, but I haven't been able to enjoy Magical Melody much since I bought it post-Wii and I have not played many Gamecube games since then. I would say that the one that enjoy the most is probably Harvest Moon 64, It had a great assortment of Festivals, crops, villagers and events that always kept it fun and fresh whenever you played it and it's probably one of the best, if not the best Harvest Moon game in my humble opinion. Harvest Moon 64 is what got me started in the Harvest Moon series (Thanks to an article I read about it on a Nintendo Power magazine) and I encourage any self-respecting gamer out there to at least try it if it ever comes out on the Virtual Console.

"I hope it does too! I know a good assortment of people who enjoy this series too! What do you like best about Harvest Moon on the whole?"

Master_Glink
As I've said before it really provides with a break from all the modern and futuristic games that make up most of the market today, and its also a great release after a rough day.

"Ah, yes. I've always found Magical Melody very relaxing to play. And although A Wonderful Life could had a bit more ambient music in it, the quiet while running through town can't be beat!

So, do you look forward to another HM game in the future?"

Master_Glink
Now that the Wii is getting a good base and some Third-party support, my hopes are high for another Harvest Moon game around the riverbend. I can really visualize what it could be like in the future for Harvest Moon games with this great new technology in the Wii, we could have the weather from the game derived from actual weather reports thanks to the weather channel, have a real-time animal crossing like time system, and maybe even some online functionality thrown in there as well.

I see! Well thank you for your input!
