KenoTao Ah! He missed...damn! Fortunately he kept his footing strong. He saw the heel of the tall man's foot coming straight for him. Rather than block he just braced himself. The impact was quite a shock, but less than he expected as he was adding resistance with his entire body against the strike. It was the only reason he hadn't gone flailing and he knew it.
Something in the back of his mind clicked at that moment. Something his mentor had told him before leaving. His eyes seemed to soften even more from their calm demeanor. Now he truly looked too passive to be in the middle of a fight. Slowly they began to droop and it wasn't long before they were shut lightly, as though sleeping. He took a deep breath, completely numb for that frozen moment in time before letting it all come back.
Keeping his eyes closed, he resumed. In a swift jerking motion, he grabbed the Orinian's ankle with his left hand, his knee with his right, and tossed him in the opposite direction his kick had been coming from. He didn't try to slam him into the ground or very well embed the guy into the wall, but the force of the toss was supposed to restrain his body a bit. There was no follow up though. It was more like a restart instead as Keno adjusted to face the general area Deity should land in. He was now fighting blind, or so it seemed.

((Mine was very fun. I enjoyed my fam'ly bein' here for once, I helped my nephew figure out a toy, I got a few nifty things. Overall, it was just a very good Christmas. best I've had since I found out Santa isn't real.))
