*Merena waved to User "Good evening!" and then jade was back. She gently place Vincent amongst Jade's arms. almost immediately, he started to cry. giggling softly, she lighly plucked the rattle from his hand andwaved it in front of his face. "don't cry darling. thats your Aunt Jade!" She then gave the rattle back to her son who had stopped crying. Vincent, tears still in the corners of his eyes looked up at his aunt, staring in awe at her. "if you want, play with the rattle with him, that should make him really giggly. He's more attached to me than his sister is, and is usually alot more calmer." She turned towards Keno and Shaina. At first the baby girl made an awful face that someone other than her parents were picking her up, but the child then realized that this was like anotehr adventure and brightened right back up. she did what babies did best- try to grasp anything in sight! Merena was glad that her children were doing well amongst her friends. She then sat down ona stool, rather exhausted. taking care of twins could be exhausting, and it was nice to have her children play with people without crying*

::With the soft buzz of people talking in the distance, Deity doesn't put any effort toward discerning one voice from another, his eyes closed again. If he were ready for sleep, he'd likely be unconscious now, so still and quiet. One might actually think such until his fingers curl around the bottom of his headband, slipping it off. He carelessly tosses it onto the counter at his side, rubbing his forehead with his right palm as he opens his eyes. He hasn't been in public with his face showing since his subliminal battle against Fierce - or his inner devil, more accurately - and that was because he was far too exhausted to care. He usually hides his eyes, partially due to habit, partially for personal reason. Far too many reflective surfaces around.

Jarred from his stupor by the sound of a mug hitting the counter, Deity quickly lifts his head as though startled, seeing that his beloved has brought his tea back. She gives him a kiss, and an offer to join them, to which he responds with only a gentle smile. The boy has no intention of going over, not particularly a fan of crowds. He doesn't prefer barren silence, but crowds get to him. With another kiss she goes off again, probably to hold the little ones. Wondering what names would be given to the children of Merena and Caine, he takes up his tea mug and tips it gently toward himself.

The moment the liquid touches his lips, he shudders and quickly pulls it away, wincing and shaking his head rapidly a few times. It's far too hot, he thinks, as he sets it back to the counter surface. Better to let it cool off first.::

Jade stood there, holding the tiny little form in her arms, looking right back down at him with awe. She shook the rattle a little, and watched as a smile quickly pread across Vincents little face. She giggled as she rocked the child in her arms, cooing soflty to him.

"Aunty Jade...."

She giggled again, realizing that she actually was an aunt now. AS with most, holding a child in one's arms always brought about the feeling of parenthood. Jade wanted to have children, but not yet. She wasn't sure why, but instincts were telling her it wasn't nearly time for her to start a family yet.

The young Saiya-jin looked back at Deity and smiled softly at him, the little bundle in her arms gurgling away.

. o O ( yeah i need to be in bed in like 15 min...got works to do round the house for my mom and my sleep pattern has been bad >_< )

Keno smiled tenderly as he placed Shaina carefully in Ichi's hands and grabbed his tea. He took a careful sip to be sure it wouldn't burn him. After all was clear he turned and noticed that Deity had quickly withdrew from it. He smiled as he thought about his younger years. Tea like this used to be too hot for him as well. His mother would say he had neko-jita, the cat's tongue. She and Thorn would giggle like school girls anytime he drank some tea.

His gaze returned to Ichigo, who was holding the child. How much more beautiful she looked holding a child in her arms. How stupid it would be for him to have a child right now though. He envied Caine right about now.

He was getting tired though. In fact, the tea was the only thing keeping him awake without Shaina to hold. His instincts obviously kept him very aware so long as some other life depended on his ability to keep conscious. He finished the tea quickly and sat next to Ichigo, resting his head on her shoulder.
