EAS stand for East Asian Studies. Depending on the school, you can specialize in Chinese, Japanese, and/or Korean. At my school they only have Chinese and Japanese. However, regardless of this, you can get M.A. and Ph D in something general like Art History or Lit, or specialize with a single nation. Guess who won my pick.>>
