I play Flute. biggrin
Been playing flute for about 2 years .. lmao Its okay. The only thing I hate is the hard finger movements. But, I've gotten use to it. smile

It seems like everyone is so much younger than me.... sweatdrop I'm not THAT old.... well, I'm a junior at college. The flute pretty much is my life, hence my decision to be a music education major. At least classes are over for now!

heart Yay flutes!!! heart
We had our awards concert the other night, and they were giving out alot of prizes, an trophies you know. Everybody who got one deserved it, except ne person. the band directors DAUGHTER got the band member of the year award that hasn't been given out since like 89! She so didn't deserve it.

OMFG! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH SNOTTY PEOPLE IN MY SECTION! *Hugs everyone* At my old school I had to sit by sluts and the only decent floutist was my BFF nad this guy who quit because 'I thougth it was gay......' His words not mine. Now, I have these two Asians sitting by me (I'm in Dodds, stationed in Sasebo, Japan) and they don't pay any attention to me. Neither does most of the band because I'm the ONLY 7th grader with 8th graders and that's hurt their pride.
About E.J. King Acadamy Middle School Band:
Only 8th+ graders are allowed into intermediate band because they start band in 7th grade, not 6th like my old school.
There are bunch of immature a**-holes with their 'cool points' and snotty attitudes in intermediate.
I am as good as everyone else, but they treat me like an inferior, always looking down on me. But, one day I will get them, Mwaha. They will never know which Mitcon hit them............
NYWAY, has anyone ever played Aztec Fire?

I play flute!! All the flutes in my band are either snooty, super preppy valley girls, or so quiet you don't know they exist. We use our flutes as weapons against flying bugs during band camp. ^_^ Or threatening the trumpets and mellos...

Ah! I play flute 4laugh I started playing in like, 6th grade and now I'm in my first year of college. *sighs* I never had to deal with snotty flute players. The worst were the drummers. Everyone in the flute section was pretty nice/cool.

They only wish they were in your shoes. ! Yeah, i was always in the top 3 chairs and all my friends were below me. They were jealous and tried to cause all kinds of trouble. Ky Kwaii 1 Animelee12 so there are these girls who are trying to kick me out of the flute section for some reason.... I'm a fairly decent player but they think there should only be 5 flutes in our marching band this year, yes 5! why should we have only 5 when the flute is one of the softer instruments! they've already psyched last years freshmen flute girls and they'll try with the new batch of them coming next year!! it's so agrivating! well, have you informed the bd of the situation? Maybe he (or she) can do something about it yeah, he said to just ask him if there is anything like that again^_^ plus, here's something else!, this years music is going to be mostly woodwinds with the melody and tune! I seriously think we should be packin' our section, not killin'!
