Dressed in typical Gothic Lolita fashion (top hat and parasol included), Dracaena Cinnabari walked down the streets of Vale casually. Her pink parasol rested at her right shoulder to contrast her black attire. Though her expression was carefully neutral as she walked with proper posture and grace as any proper lady, the human woman ignored most stares since there was a resting raven on her left shoulder."Damn Johnathan for making me take a break,"Drac thought irked that her partner had forced her to go out for a walk. One that was not in their gardens or on the Clinic grounds. So, after much arguing, she was here now with Freya.
The doctor had to admit that it was a pleasant day at least. Even if she was a little miffed that her coworker was right."Freya, go stretch your wings,"Drac suggested without looking to her feathered friend. The buzzard didn't need to be told twice and flew off its mistress' shoulder to fly above the buildings. Once the raven was away, the fair woman would walk over by the sweets shop in order to observe what twisted treated they displayed today."This shop always has the most beautiful cakes,"she thought to herself. Her eyes would rest on the cute coffin cakes, black rose cupcakes, and batty cookies they displayed in the window. It brought a smile to her face before she would move on to look at other displays. Meanwhile in the sky above, the raven would fly and scope out the streets for anything interesting.

He was awaiting further instruction on his mission in Vale and when he would find himself working with Bekwood again. Not an entirely unpleasant thought at the least. But he had to wait till later before any of that could happen; how long was yet to be determined. One of the downsides for an assassin versus a common mercenary. For a mercenary you generally knew when a battle was to happen, and your missions were much quicker. Not to say that wasn't possible for an assassin but... those types of missions usually have much more care and subtlety applied to them. The exact time of death could be months away from the undertaking of the job, and it required a lot more set up and information than a common mercenary job would. The sad price to pay for the line of work he greatly enjoyed was that the pleasure of it was often far away.
Which is exactly why the bored assassin was casually strolling through the streets, not wearing his disguise for actual villainy. His usual look when with Akuryo or on a job would vary, but this was his look when he wasn't looking to have his reputation known. 'Hiding in plain sight.' He silently thought to himself with a slight smile beneath his veil. His usual attire was not one that would blend in with a crowd, even if it helped him be quieter. Though many people had strange choices in attire as they walked; so long as he was true to his own look and seemed unworried, no one would suspect what his true intentions could be, Which suited his purpose just fine. For now, he was just people watching and seeing if an interesting opportunity would present itself. He had less of his gear than normal due to his attire; the vambrace on his right arm and his smoke grenades on his waist. His sword, shield and crossbow were all safely hidden away in his hideout, and the traps for such an area were set in place. So confident they were safe, and that he could do just fine with what he had on him, he would continue his causal stroll.

With some patience the young blonde rabbit faunus waited for the lady behind the counter to come and attend to her order. The shop appeared quite busy that day so it was taking some time. Blair did not mind too much. As she did so her scroll dinged inticating a message. The message from someone else's perspective would seem a little on the romantic side, however, for someone like her she knew its true meaning. Behind the words, hidden in a code she knew quite well, was a job offer. It seemed like quite the simply vendetta to get back at someone who had decided to try and trick the wrong sort of people. The location was just outside the city too so she decided to accept it. The extra cash could always come in handy. Just one last 'mission' before taking a well earned vacation. Boy did she need it too. The past two months had proved to be mentally and physically exausting, however it was the former that was affecting her the hardest.
Just after she hit send on her reply, she heard an irritatingly high pitched squeel out ´fluff butt´. Shortly after she heard the noise of a chair scrabbing against the floor and feet darting in her direction. Without bothering to look at the cause she took a quick step to the side just as Tabby had thrown her body at her. While Tabby thought she had tackled Blair, she had in reality gotten a hold of a male teen that was in line in front of her. The way the redhead acted deeply irked Blair. Her blood boiled in annoyance at the females actions and words. It was a good thing Blair was not on the receiving in. Though, it seemed the male was not too bothered. After all, girly nuzzling him... there was a lot of contact going on for sure.
The moment after the girl's 'friend' had come over to apologize for Tabby. Rolling her eyes Blair scoffed before speaking, right hand on her hips while the other still held her scroll at her side.
"Pathetic," her tone was like daggers. Nothing she was about to say would be in any way nice, for either of teh girls. "Your obviously annoying obsession over faunus is absurd." Her eyes were as cold as her words came out. She was not concerned over sounding rough. What was going on was deeply disturbing for her. "You like cute fluffy tails, hm? You want to nuzzle, squish and cuddle them? Then get a goddamn pet because I am no one's pet. Nor is any faunus. And any that tolerate this behaviour should be ashamed." Her left hand, even with the scroll in it, was raised to her forhead as she shook her head to the side. "So what, we have features different than yours? Stop degrading yourself by acting like it is such an amazing deal. You'll get yourself killed one day."
Having no more to say the blond had every intention of leaving. Raising her leg she stepped over Tabby and the male she was still laying on, as it was too much of a bother to walk around. Chances were there wasn't much the two girls could do to keep her from leaving. Her mood was sour. She was now a lot more interested in taking care of that job to blow off some steam.

The young doctor would continue to walk around the commercial area of Vale while her raven did her own thing. Noting quietly that she would return to this shop for some sweets, she moved on to other things. Humming quietly, Drac felt a peace that, she admitted, she needed. It had been a long time since she had done things other than work and take care of her home that she had nearly forgotten how nice it could be. There was the Tora's she could see, she thought with an amused smile, but that would have to be on one of her free days.
After a bit of exploring though, she looked to the sky from under her parasol."Where is that silly raven,"she pondered to herself. Her attentions returned to the window of a shop she briefly paused before."Oh, that looks lovely,"Drac sighed under her breath. The sight of the dust crystals inside. Smiling to herself, she decided to enter this shop for a little bit."Knowing Freya, she will just return home later. I'll just look inside before heading back to the clinic,"The fair woman thought to herself as she entered. When she was greeted, she bowed her head in thanks and greeting. Doing as she had intended before going back to her clinic.
Meanwhile in the skies not far above the buildings, the raven scoped out for anything interesting. Though many things caught the bird's eye, there was a particular twinkle moving below. Intrigued and slightly in the mood for this shiny thing, the raven would coast down closer to the streets and land just atop a streetlamp. Dark eyes staring at the shiny down below, she took note of the moving target it was attached to...but not for long. Swooping down towards the gentleman's backpack, her claws stretched out, the kleptomaniac of a buzzard would latch her talons around the shiny sphere to take it away.

When you were a wolf among sheep, you had little to fear most times as you were the threat. He was watching a couple in particular as they bickered, having to repress laughter as the man seemed fairly terrified of who he assumed to be his girlfriend. It was quite amusing to hear all of the shortcomings she spoke of him while he tried his best to calm her down. So much so that Ghost's entire attention was focused on such a spectacle, even though he was walking still so it'd be less likely they'd notice his interest. However... for once he was the center of attention to another. A particular feathered creature at that. Unbeknownst to him it had found something it wanted from him...and before he could react he would feel a tug on his back and turn to look... only to see a feathered creature fleeing away with a spherical object in its talon...And he cursed silently to himself as he felt for what he realized was his. 'When I asked for entertainment, I did not ask to be robbed by an avian.' He thought to himself as he took off after the bird.
The bird took the high ground, and while ghost was chasing after it, he did his best to do so in a hidden manner. One bird in the sky was far easier to keep track of than a person amidst crowds and buildings. He kept to the streets themselves rather than the roof tops like usual, doing his best to keep the bird in eyesight but sticking back enough that he hoped it would not notice him. Using people and buildings alike to try and block the birds visual at times... a gamble because it meant he had to try to find it after. And all the while keeping an eye on his smoke bomb. The bird could drop it at any point as far as he knew, and he was not about to let anyone get their hands on it. Truth be told if it were just for the bird he would not care if it had it. He knew how to make new ones and replenish it. The issue laid in regard to if someone got it from the bird. His smoke bombs were his own special creation, different from that of standard ones. If someone of adequate intellect acquired it and figured it out, they could replicate it. More importantly, they could figure out how his smoke bombs worked and countered them. So he followed after the thieving avian, noting he was being led in the general direction of the residential area. 'Well... This will be good exercise at least.' He thought to himself with a small smile as he did his best to track the bird while avoiding detection. He knew if it noticed him it would not land anytime soon.

After a browse around the dust shop, the young woman would exit with a bow of thanks and continue her walk. Seeing the trouble in the restaurant, she decided to avoid that for now. Instead, she took a small break inside another cafe to enjoy a cup of earl gray and a small BLT sub."I hope Freya is not causing trouble,"Drac thought as she sipped her cup of tea quietly. Her blue eyes closed from the delightful flavor. She then would set it down and look to the waitress as she came by and dropped off her food. Eating in peace was all good and the like but now she must go. Once she was done, she would head back to the clinic. But not before catching a glimpse of something black in the sky ahead of her."I really hope that's not a shiny,"Drac muttered from the sparkle she saw before it was gone again."Well, I shall deal with that when I get home,"Dr. Lenz concluded to herself and was back to work.
Freya was enjoying this game of chase, but was determined to lose this human. After a little bit of time, she would head home to the third floor condo and stash her prize away.

TEAM: NTSS Tabby is at this place!!!!: Place of food! Tabby is with this person!!!!: Tsuki the pretty kitty *Fangirls* Angry bunbun!! Tabby is doing this!!!!: DRAMATIC Talk talk! SLAPPING COOTIES! more talky talk
"Tsuki is a pretty name~!" Giggling with the utmost joy, Tabitha only realized about the fish on the menu only just after she had ordered. It was only for Tsuki's ordering did she realize, puffing her cheeks out in frustration. There was nobody to blame but herself on that factor, for only looking at the photos. The redhead had almost began to swat the table in this little fuss, if not only for her new target in sights. Little had she known there was about to be a bit of chaos..... -----------------------------
Why was the world such a cruel mother hen!? All Tabitha had wanted was to hug a faunus in her adorable fluffy buttness!! The scene before had taken an interesting turn. The results of her attack huggin target had ended in utter failure! She didn't want to hug anyone else! Instead of colliding with Blair unfortunately, upon the floor in a mess she was hugging instead... Ew!!! A human boy! A lecherous human boy!! She could sense the spicy man tingles off him!!! The realization had only occured when she had one moment, been imagining Blair in her smothering loveliness.... Only to see a random human boy in her place. "Ew! Who be you!? You are not what Tabby wanted to hug! Cooties!!" It would have ended there, but Tabitha had continued into a sort of prima donna attitude there on the floor. "Tabby needs an adult! Someone save Tabby from walking cootie man!!! Human boy wants the spicy!!! He may spread the spicy cooties onto Tabby! Nooooo!!! don't want to be corrupted!!" Seeing the boy practically hugging her back, it was lucky the arrival of Tsuki had occurred. What a relief!!!
Even though Tsuki had been scolding her for pouncing, she was all too happy for the help back up to her feet. Of course the boy had not been left unscarred. With a caterwaul from her lungs, she backhanded the guys chest, sticking her tongue out at him with a glare as the tail had done it's magic. Her soft tail had been the only thing for her to get her attention away from the boy. This gave them a free chance to leave before Tabitha could get any rowdier. That was wonderful, considering the attention that had been growing towards them. Who cared!? Bad boys get slappy slaps!!!! Tsuki so nice to Tabby~! Sorry for making pretty Tsuki come over and help!" Ignoring the fact she had been scolded then, she was brushing off her clothes as Tsuki had began to apologize to Blair. Being told to calm down, her golden eyes would shift from one woman to the other, and instead of anymore apologies, she merely giggled, a beaming smile from ear to ear on her face. "Okay!!! Tabby be calm!!" That would be such a hard task though! Asking her to calm down could be compared to asking a grim to have compassion! That was a pipe dream. Of course for them she would try. This was made clear as Blair's icy tone had reached through. Oh~! She made the bun bun angry!? her eyes were so blue! Like the ocean!! She was very angry for a bunny bun!! Tabitha's attention span had been decreasing by the second, drowning into her own thoughts. Though she was staring at Blair talk, big bright eyes and all, she was mostly drawn in by Blair's blue hues. Only a few bits and pieces of words had sunk into her head, the gist of it revolving around the rhetorical question about her liking fluffy tails. The rest of it had went over her head, most of the coldness and hard honesty of opinion ignored away from tail mentioning. It had only been when Blair had finished speaking had Tabitha said something, with no change of tone to her voice other then her usual bubbly self. "Yes!!! Love love LOVE faunus~! You seem angry now miss bunny!!! Would you like to have cake!? Cake good for anger!! Maybe parfait! Tabby can pay!! Tsuuuukiii~!!!! We should all have giant cake! Tabby doesn't like to see pretty bunny mad!! Was it because she missed the hug!? Did a mistakerin' happen!? Oh nooooooooo~!!!!!! Cake is the answer to everything luckily!! Fish mostly, but momma once said not everyone likes fish! That's okay!! More fish for Tabby~! Ah!!!! Busy talking of fish so much!! Would you like to join for cake miss pretty bunny bun!?" Her eyes began to practically glitter for a response.

Tsuki sighed as the chaos reminded her of her team...except less nuts. So holding on to a squirming human who was on top of the boy, she kept the voice of the rude bunny girl from grating her ears. At least she tried to. Finally when the energetic and fiery Tabby got off the poor fainting boy, she turned icy blue eyes to the fluff-butt with a scowl."Hers isn't the only lack of manners that shows,"The young tigress replied coolly.
Currently refusing her more violent nature before looking to Tabby who seemed momentarily start-struck and deaf to the girl. Humans never ceased to amaze her. The bunny's words seemed to fall on Tabby's deaf ears though as she invited the girl to join them."If the girl wishes to join us, then she can follow us later,"She suggested gently. Smiling with amusement and shaking her head, she kept her tail around her new acquaintance so as to lightly guide the human girl back to their table."Though if the girl is wise, she might leave,"Miya thought to herself, apologizing to the staff as they passed to tend to the boy. She would be civil enough though if the girl did decide to join them.
Well, surprisingly they would not be escorted out. And the rest of the afternoon seemed to go rather...interestingly. Learning Tabby was going to be attending Beacon Academy while they enjoyed lunch, she smiled to herself. Almost sad they would have to part."Then may we meet again, Tabby,"Miya replied, exchanging scroll numbers before parting ways.

Won't you come out We could paint the town red Kill a little time You can sleep when you're dead
Blair watched in semi amusement as the girl who had tried to tackle her was surprised by having landed on someone else instead. So this was a human girl that was disgusted by humans? It was actually quite interesting to see, though that interest did not last long. Blair did not care much for ones race. If someone was strong and capable that was what mattered most to her.
Tsuki's muffled comment on her lack of manners fell on deaf ears. Blair was blunt and quite often rude, she was well aware of that fact and did not try to seem otherwise. Of course, she could and would be the perfect companion in a conversation of it meant a means to an end. In this case? There really wasn't much she could get from these girls. They had nothing of interest and nothing to offer.
When Tabby spoke to Blair again it was hard to catch on to what she was saying, for various reasons the main ones being that Blair wasn't completely paying attention and her tone of voice was a little irritating to Blair as well. Ugh... my ears are going to ring after this... There was one thing that did catch her mind though...the mention of cake. Sadly they were escorted out and Blair had no real reason to stay anymore. She did have a quick mission to pull off anyways.
Without another word to the two girls she went on her way.

I'm feelingUncertain || I'm speaking toFang || Where am I? Streets of Vale || Post count28 ▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇
It might have been barely a span of days that they've not spent time together. A little longer if one considered her absence due to her own little mission that Fang had put her to not too long ago. And now, it was going to be just the two of them again. The man displayed some amount of excitement with regards to the same, making her lips curl into a slight smile when he'd place his arm around her shoulder and with that glimmer in his eyes. That was probably the look she was expecting the time she came around to see him again, maybe a similar excitement too when she saw him after so long, but it was all close to nothing thanks to the two witches they managed to get rid of somehow- one left them on their own accord and the other, well, pretty much the same with her. Secretly she hoped they would never return and their duo remained a duo for a fairly good time, but maybe, just maybe, one of them would eventually return to them. "I believe so, unless you decide to adopt a stray on the way again." she taunted playfully, secretly hoping that wouldn't actually be the case this time.
The good ol days he spoke of, who could forget those times? She was practically falling for him the more time she spent with him and she couldn't even tell why. Even now she couldn't but it must have been thanks to how he handled himself out in the treacherous world, the way he fought and maybe even that innocent side he had to himself, all of which she found rather amusing besides the exotic hunk of a man he was.
Dressed in her usual attire, sans the outer coat, the woman wore her hair in a long tail that swayed around her frame as she walked. Walking around without a disguise might have not been the best idea, but she thought it was less likely they'd fall into trouble out here in the open if they weren't drawing any attention to themselves. A small trail of sweat rolled through her side as they finally entered the city premise. It sure was a long walk and even if her trusty male companion offered to carry her things for her, the woman's ego was bigger than all her hair put together in a bun, to even let him think she needed a man's support to do anything. It came with having lived on her own for most of her life on her own and watching women starting to get too dependent on men like him for support, exactly why she disliked their companion Sheepy. She seemed too delicate and dependent for this world, sometimes she even wondered how she survived so long.
"How are you keeping up there big guy?" she would ask, inching closer to lean against her partner playfully. She rest her head against his shoulder as she looked around the streets, taking in the familiar scenery before casting her eyes back up to him. Like Fang, she didn't prefer the city unless it was necessary, she preferred the solitudes of the outskirts and even the forest to some extent, but did like the luxuries the city had to offer. "Would you like to go restock first? Or look for a place to leave out things first?" she asked.
One such luxury caught her eyes. Food was something that was rare to come by in the forest, sure it was fresh there but nothing could beat a good meal cooked with all the necessary elements. Food might have to wait, but she could still get them something to snack on while they continued. "Give me a moment." she would state before running off to the nearest vendor, returning shortly with two cones of icecreams. "Here you go, I hope you like chocolate." she would smile, sticking her tongue out to have a taste before exhaling in delight. She sure missed this.

Fang couldn't help but chuckle at her wording. "I think I am done adopting for a while... Though, only one of them would I have considered an adopted member. Its best to adventure with those who are like-minded I have realized. Saves a lot of trouble." He would say as they walked up to the inner streets of the great city of Vale. They already were processed in as guests as the front gate, but Vale was open to all and didn't really have a way of keeping track of its visitors. Especially when you used a fake name. The winding roads took quite some time before they actually approached the city center where all the good stuff lie in wait.
Fia leaned up against him playfully as if she owned him. He would look down on her with affection. Maybe she did own him. She did kind of walk all over him. In the early days he had always pushed her off and forced distance between them, but she was relentless and eventually he just stopped. It was less effort to let her have her way. The thought was an odd one. Part of him despised the idea of being 'owned' but another part of him thought that if it was her, maybe he wouldn't mind. This thought a chill up his spine. Where did these sort if ideas start coming from? He could feel his neck getting hotter, but fortunately she asked him a question to get his mind off the hot subject. "I'm fine, but this is a lot of stuff... Let's definitely drop this all off at the nearest Inn, then go shopping, we'll be spending more time here than usual as we await our call from our employer." They started on their way, but not before Fia ran over and grabbed them some ice cream. "Thanks, and I believe I have tried chocolate a few times, it is most delicious!" His face turned into a child like grin as he admired the strangely delicious treat city folk enjoyed. After a few seconds he just took a large bite out of the ice cream and started munching on it. Making it very clear he didn't know the proper way to eat ice cream.
"Random question, have you ever used your hair to kill anyone?" He asked as he admired her long pink hair. Hair was strong, and could definitely be used to strangle the life out of an unsuspecting victim. This was likely not the average conversation most guests had, but this was the casual kind of conversation Fang and Fia had. "I wouldn't want your hair to get damaged - I like how it looks - but it would be effective in a tight situation." He said this matter-o-factly, but he did often admire her hair as he did now. His golden eyes locked on its nice braid. His was always just a mess. It was dark, and it wasn't easy to fix up. He just let it fall how it does naturally and it usually looks decent enough.

"If you say so, but if we are adopting something, I'd say something more useful like a dog or a chicken that we can fatten up and use as food when needed." she would state with a grin like the thought of killing something they'd grow to see as a companion wasn't really a painful thought. As much the man denied adopting another one in their little pack, she figured it wouldn't be the case when he'd come across a potential candidate. He was still a man and with attractions of his own, like any other man, despite all the many times he proved to be oblivious to such desires. All it took was the right woman, something she learned out of her own experience, which was probably why she kept wary of him in the beginning, insisting for an invisible barrier that soon broke down to probably a fence- considering her still often cautious of him with her feelings.
The man's affectionate gaze didn't go unnoticed from her, probably why she decided to distract herself with a snack in the first place. Feelings was one department Fia lacked in quite a bit, it must have been her upbringing, which she did confess to him the previous day that wasn't always that way. She learned to shut them off all too well that she didn't even realise they existed. One of the few feelings she did aknowlegde where the ones she showed, pleasure in someone esle's pain, her own pain and quite many as such but Fang did bring out the more pleasant feelings in her, ones she barely even hid from him. "Slow down beast boy, you'll get a brain freeze!" she chuckled, licking her own icecream.
To a normal person, Fang's question would seem like something odd or out of the blue but for Fia it was just another idea to increase her credibility as mercinary and to use a part of her to her benefit. She brushed her fingers along the ends of her tail, drawing her hair forward before she looked back at him. "I don't recall such an incident.." she would state, drawing her hand up to her chin in thought. Why didn't she though? "I usually tie it up when I go for a mission, you've probably noticed -or make sure its out of my way." she stated, licking her icecream again before she looked back at her hair. "It sure would get damaged if I did try..but wouldn't kill to try." she did state with a slight grin, surely putting a little more of a thought to it.
By the time she was done with her icecream, she did look back at the man if he had a preference for an Inn they could be housed at. "There are a few inns further down this path, unless you know of a place that should be a better pick." she would state, thinking back on their mission for a bit before looking back. "We could pick a place which isn't too close to the center of the city for obvious reasons, but there are three that line up closer to where we will be required to work from. But, I'd say we look for some place that's closer to the city's exits so we can escape with ease if needbe." the woman would state, staying closer to the man lest someone were to hear them.

Fang laughed at her idea. "A chicken?! Haha, you really think we want to carry one of those around with us?" He shook his head and shrugged. "A dog might work though, but I never thought they were very good against Grimm. They draw too much attention."
Fang munched another big bite into his ice cream. "A brain freeze? What is tha-" He winced. His head hurting. "Ouch! What the hell is in this?!" He tossed the ice cream cone away from him and clutched his head. Unfortunately the cone flopped onto a kid's shirt who happened to be walking by. The young boy looked at the mess on him with disgust and kicked Fang in the shin before running off into an alley way. Fang, of course, didn't even notice the kid nor feel his puny attack."Is it poisoned?!" He then blinked a few times, and the pain was gone. What a pain. A treat so delicious that you want to gobble it up, but if you do, you receive pain? An evil invention. Maybe it was created as a prank?
Fia didn't seem to recall a time when she used her hair for combat. This didn't surprise him. She did keep it well tied up usually. "Well, at least you are slightly more aware of the possibility of it being used. It may save you in the future, but let's hope we never end up in such a desperate state." He didn't like the idea of her hair being damaged, but if it did to save her life it would be worth it. They stopped in front of an Inn, but Fia proposed something a little more strategic. "I Agree. Let's find one on the north end of the city." It didn't take long to walk to the north end and find a suitable inn. Fang requested a room with a window, as that would specifically give them an escape.
The innkeeper nodded as he jotted down the room number on the paper tied to the key. "We only got one room though, sorry 'bout that."
" One room? I think that's okay..." Fang said looking to Fia. Normally when they came to towns they didn't share a room, but then again, Fang couldn't think of a single time in his travels that they did stay in the city. They usually hiked back out.Fia and Fang normally slept close, so it didn't bother him, but it did seem a bit more...personal... this time around. He wasn't sure why though. "We could find another inn otherwise..."

Fia did think about it for a moment again, taking a nice long lick of her ice cream as she thought about the multiple reasons why they'd benefit with a chicken in their team than another human/faunus girl, besides it fattening up to being their meal eventually. "Yes actually, it might serve as a useful bait." she would state with a light smirk, almost seemingly emphasizing her win in the argument. When was this even a challenge? "So a chicken it is? If it draws too much attention we won't feel too bad killing it." she smirked, with a little chuckle. What even was this discussion about and why? Either way, it did keep her brain working and mildly entertained, thinking of the possibilities of traveling with a chicken.
The woman watched the man munch into the ice cream with no issues until that seemed short lived when it finally hit him. She winced lightly and instead of rushing to his help, she burst out laughing and put no effort into concealing the same. As much as she loved the man, seeing him suffer like this did put a grin across her face. She did witness the fling his icecream took upon the boy's shirt making her laugh a little more. Oh gosh, if she laughed anymore, she would hurt herself she thought, wiping the tear off until she noticed the boy kick him and run away. Normally, she would chase after the child and scare them until they soiled their pants but today, maybe she'd let it slide thanks to the humor she got. "It was just too cold darling, nothing more than that." she would state, reaching over and patting his head.
Part of Fia did go back to tormenting the boy, knowing her, she would be able to track him down without having a nose as sharp as a faunus if she truly wanted to, but did she? It did look humorous when she noticed the child kick his shin with no avail. Maybe she should drop it.
"I do suppose it is, but I don't like the idea of ruining it.." she would state honestly, glancing back at the lose end of her tail that hung over her shoulder. "After the whole struggle of growing it out from the razored down nothing that I had to do..." she said with a little sigh, running her fingers through them before adding, "Besides, she didn't give me anything decent in terms of genetics, might as well keep the best of what she could."
Fia almost regretted her own suggestion for a moment when they had to walk further for the new inn, but she didn't think it would be wise to back out for a moment's rest. She marched on ahead and once they came across one, she waited around the lounge, looking at the things they had on display while Fang handled the lodging. She did wonder what it would be like to have a home of her own, set it up the way she liked it, even glancing over at Fang almost like she wanted to start one with him but she did recall neither of them looked like ones who could settle down and live a normal life and thinking about a house could be wishful thinking.
Her chain of thoughts did come to a halt when she heard Fang mention they'd be sharing a single room. On one end, she didn't care too much considering she often slept by the man so it shouldn't be a problem, but something made the male hesitate which made her too a little conscious about the decision. What changed? "I don't suppose its a problem..." she would state, crossing her arms across her chest as her mind took a detour and ended up thinking it had something to do with his interest lying in someone else than anything possibly budding between the two. If it was the former, then the woman would surely insist on sharing the room, try to wipe out the other woman from his thoughts while she had a chance.
Without much time given to the man to react, she grabbed the keys and started her march up the stairs to the room they were given. She wasn't going to trust someone else with her luggage and surely not a worker. She reached the room and unlocked it, dropping her things by the bed - failing to realize it was a single one in the entire room- while she went around the room to inspect for any foreign objects that could hinder their stay/mission.

Fang had to admit that he loved when Fia's face was flushed after laughing. It was strange how such a thing was so, so - well, pretty. He tilted his head as he admired her in a way that was unusual for him. She was pretty. He turned his head to look in another direction ans hide his gaze. Thoughts of doubt in his mind. Maybe he shouldn't let these sort of thoughts blossom. "Cold icecream, well next time I will order it warm." He said with a tone of finality.

Fang watched Fia march upwards to teh room with the key. He shrugged at the innkeeper and sighed, but he donned a smile right after. It wasn't going to be an issue? Right? "Find anything menacing?" He asked as he opened the door and shut it behind them. He quickly inspected the lock to see what kind it was and how secure."Its new, but old tech, I'll place my staff as a bar to keep the door from opening at night." He pulled his staff out and spun it in the air with lightning speed and stabbed it into the wood and lodged it against the door with precision.
He dropped his stuff near the window and then sat on the bed with a hefty sigh. "I guess we should plan our next few days here. Starting with tomorrow." A supply run would be first on their list of course, but they should be able to finish that up before it got too late in the evening tomorrow. "Are their any specialty items you like to buy in the city? I always grab two things. One, chocolate chip cookies, and two, well, I guess it isn't a thing, but I usually visit a local fight club to make money." He hadn't done that with Fia though, so he wasn't sure what she'd think, it was her sort of thing so maybe she'd want to come with him.
