Amiera was silent. She had so much running through her mind. If angels were coming she would need more summer near her. She never met with angels unless there were at least six summer with her. Not to mention her wedding would now be put off to handle this. She felt disappointment that this couldn't wait. She needed to unlock the Everwinter Battleground for the tests that would happen in the morning.

Mikal stepped forward and ran his hand along Amiera's arm. When his cousin didn't look up he took a deep breath. She was in no state to handle this. Turning to the others he sighed. "I had hoped we could settle our issues after the wedding. But since Amiera is in no state to handle this, and Tariel is not officially king, I will step in. We need to get to the Everwinter Battleground. It has special properties to contain our full forms from throwing off the balance of the Earth." Mikal said in a stern voice. He could feel the power cap slowly starting to slip. If he transformed here, the whole realm would collapse around him.

Remonee nodded and looked at them all. I will open the portal now. It is important that the angels meet us there. They cannot come here. It would be detrimental to Amiera's health. She thought to them. Her hands moved swiftly as she began to spin ice and snow to create the portal. It will take us until morning to get there. everyone go get changed into something comfortable to fight in. I will have this done when you return.

Jesse nodded. "I will lead you all to the upstairs rooms. the sooner we get going the better. Terra, Torra. Bring Amiera. I am afraid that only you two can touch her or talk to her right now. She wont respond to any other Fae." He said, opening the side doors to the upstairs chambers. He worried for Summer as Amiera became more distant an closed off.

Tariel had never seen Amiera so thrown. And they've been together for eons it seemed. His fear for her well being and mind set along with the balance of the world, was making him hate these demons she had befriended.

The twins touched Amieras arms and she looked at Torra saying nothing. Her eyes had paled and looked lifeless. "I would like to apologize for all this. If it wasn't for our family, this wouldn't be happening to yours."

This whole mess started because of her. She knew this of course, and it made her heart ache because of what she was causing. "I'm not upset that I met you and that we are now friends. I am upset that we've ruined your wedding plans and that we are putting your family through all this nonsense." She felt the tears begin to slide down her cheeks.

Terra stayed silent. She knew she wasn't as good of friends with Amiera as Torra was. And Torra had said everything she wanted to say.

Amiera touched Torra's cheek with a warm hand. She couldn't handle tears right now. It would tear down her resolve if her friend wasn't strong. "No. Torra, no tears. This is no ones fault. I have waited seventeen years for Tariel to return to my side. One more day won't hurt me." She said. It was as if the other Fae were invisible the way she looked past them. "We need to get ready so Remonee can open the portal and I can unlock the gate." She forced a small smile, but her eyes showed the pain and worry. She looked away as a painful thought crossed her mind and she almost lost her composure.

Mikal sighed. At least she was speaking again. Amiera was on the edge, and he was the only one who was able to see how close she was to slipping. He had spent his life protecting her. From her birth, he had been beside her. Teaching her to fight and protecting her from the world, He knew her secrets and her thoughts. It was hard to watch his cousin be so stressed out. He hoped he would be able to catch her if she slipped.

Torra squeezed Amieras hand. "I'm happy to see you talking at least." She wiped at her cheek and tried to laugh, it didn't work. She still felt bad about the situation. Torra took one last look at Mikal, he looked so serious and concerned. Amiera must be a lot worse than they were letting on, she turned around and they made their way upstairs to get ready.

Tariel walked over to Mikal, "How bad is it? I'm not related to her so I can only see what others see, is she going to be able to handle two very high up angels with just us around? I know that is a silly question, but I can gather more summer fae if I need to. They'll come because their queen needs them no questions asked, but I need to know how many I should bring."

Mikal was at a loss as the girls went upstairs. Remonee was continuing her work on the portal gate, but she was struggling from the mixed emotions in the room. Emotion ran the Fae world and their Magic. It needed to get better or they would all be lost. The Dark King turned his attention to the future Summer King in front of him. He sighed to clear his head. "Amiera has to release into her true form as well, in order for Remonee, Jesse, and I to release. Having two other Royals in their true forms will balance her a bit more, especially with my Summer blood. It's not much, but it will help. I need you to play with your magic while we are in the Everwinter Battleground. Just play with a ball of sunlight or something. Being close to you and exposed to Pure Summer Magic will balance her more then I ever could. I would have liked to wait until after you were crowned king, but Fae laws state that business brought to the attention of royals must precede any formal events." He took a breath and watched Winter do her work. He was worried about what would happen if the angels didn't keep some distance from Amiera. Her mother had been the ruler of the Fallen. It wouldn't end well if they decided to bring that up. He could feel his darker side of his true form poking through and it made him dangerous standing here and brooding. "Tariel... If Amiera starts to slip... If she breaks down, stop me. Whatever you have to do, get my attention. I'm afraid I'm the only Fae who can help her right now. If she slips, we could be looking at another thousand years without a Summer Royal. Watch her closely. You know when she isn't normal. If she gets worse you will feel it."

Tariel nodded. "I know I can't stop you by myself. I'll tell Toma and Raiden to keep watch too. I don't trust them, being demon lords, but they will be the extra strength I would need if the situation arises." He shot a glance towards them then returned his gaze to Mikal, "This is all too much too fast. First ending the Fallen army, getting excited about our wedding, then that hope ripped to pieces for this senseless battle for Fae to join the demon community, and now my poor queen is taking in all these negative emotions and is falling to pieces. I wish I could do more to help her. A playful ball of light doesn't seem like much on my end."
He felt completely useless in the whole mess. **I wish we could go back before the war, before these demons, and before Amieras father was taken from us. Back when it was just the two of us, lost in sweet romance that only summer fae can understand completely. It was almost like a drug. Intoxicating. And now all hope for them seemed lost due to these demons.**

He shook himself out of his thoughts, and turned to watch Remonee work her magic.

Remonee finished as the others came back into the ball room. The gate opened and she led the group through the passage before closing it. As soon as they reached her EverWinter Battleground, the Fae began to shift. Remonee was first. She faced Toma as she began to glow. Her body changed, as did her clothes, until she was in her full form.

Jesse had already released his human form. His wings of light shimmered as he ran his hands through his hair. His leather fighting clothes showed off the well toned muscles underneath. He checked the blade of his katana, making sure it was balanced and sharp.

Mikal waited. He knew the few minutes that it too to pass through the portal was actually hours in Summer. The Angels would arrive soon. That was when he would change. No sense wasting his energy now. Especially when he could control the change. He touched Amiera's shoulder, getting her to look up at him. "It will be alright, my sweet Summer Kochana." He told her softly, his summer blood showing for his Queen. He would make sure she was alright. He had to,

Amiera nodded and took Tariel's hand. She gave it a gentle squeeze before stepping away from him. Her body glowed a bit and her simple white sundress changed as her wings spread and her true form came out. Her long hair turned white and her eyes glowed gold.

It always felt colder after she left his side, like all the warmth had been sucked away leaving him feel like it was autumn. Watching her change into her full self was always an amazingly beautiful thing to watch.

Torra stood next to her father, uncle and Mikal. Terra had been keeping to herself since they found out about the answer from their aunts. When they were younger Rave and Ambrosia came to visit very rarely, but when they did they always took the opportunity to talk down to the twins and make them feel worthless, and this always had a major affect on Terra, Torra just ignored it most of the time.

"Mikal, is there anything we could do to help my sister? Our aunts, well they are terrible creatures. Being so high up in the ranks they act like they're the best thing that will ever happen to us here on earth. They have never been loving family members and they never have anything nice to say. Terra had always taken everything they say to heart and I'm afraid it eats at her mind and emotions." She glanced worriedly at Terra. "My father and Toma won't be much help seeing as their sisters are the opposite of them in almost every way."

Terra stood away from the group trying to collect her thoughts. **Chaliste?**
*Yes my dearest?*
*Can you let them know we are here, for when they are ready to come start this?*
*Yes I can. You just keep your head up, remember they are angels of an extremely high rank, they don't understand the effect their words can have on others, they only think they're helping. It's nothing personal against you my darling child.*
A few moments passed and Chaliste came back to her mind, *They are ready and should be here momentarily. I will also join your group in person to help steady you.* She smiled at her.
*Thank you.* And with that Chaliste came into form beside her. "Hello everyone. I am Chaliste for those who have not met me. I am Terras mentor angel. Rava and Ambrosia shall arrive shortly."

Mikal sighed and kisses Torra's temple. "Angels, no matter how high of rank, never speak out of line around royal Fae. We have power and right to make them behave if they do. Do not worry my dear. Besides. Jesse is already protective of her. He will stand firm by your twin." He told her to calm her worries. As soon as the angels presence was felt, he began to change into his true form. It was terrifying even to demons, and he knew he would not lose. The angels appeared on the far side of the battle ground and Mikal felt Amiera's resolve falter for a moment. He reached out with his magic to steady her.

Amiera reached for Tariel, taking his hand and almost hiding behind him. She looked regal in her form, but hated the power they gave off. She noticed Mikal's magic steadying her and Remonee's joined him.

The winter queen was visibly livid as the angels arrived. She bowed her head in greeting to Chaliste but gave no greeting to those who threatened the High Queen of Fae.

Jesse stood beside his fellow Fae, Terra on one side and Mikal on the other. He was feeling the power of everyone, being the weakest Fae there, and it was overbearing. He wanted to get this done to stop hurting Amiera so much.

Ravas deep golden eyes looked around the group of creatures who stood by her brothers. She kept her face emotionless and gave no greeting. Her hair settled at her back as the wind of their arrival died down. She cleared her throat and waited for her sister to speak.

Ambrosia stood next to Rava and glanced around the area, icy blue eyes calculating. "Brothers, nieces, fae. We have come upon your fool hardy request, now what do you all want?" Her voice was like soft wind chimes though it carried. Her eyes fell to Amiera. "Young Queenling, why on earth do you want for your fae to join the demon community as well as the demons to join your community? This makes no sense to us."
