Feeling satisfied in her explanation to the marlboro along with feeling incredibly tired, Kari bundled up the tails of her scarf into a makeshift pillow and gave one last stretch before closing her eyes in another attempt to doze. Even though the day hadn't gone how she'd initially planned, the sleepy ghoul felt that things had worked themselves out, and she'd even made a few friends in the process. He couldn't believe it. They had managed to win. Even more, they had managed to survive. Admittedly, the zombie boil had pretty much lost hope, pretty much shutting down and stopping fighting, but he had watched the others. He felt a pang of regret, silently wishing he had helped more. Ashamed, he looked around, making his way towards one of the others he had agreed to help, the reaper ghoul who had seemed friendly enough. "...Kari?" He paused. That was her name, right? He was pretty sure it was. "Listen, I'm really sorry. I agreed to fight together with you all, but when things got really bad, I just gave up and stopped. That's no excuse, I know." Kari lazily opened her eyes when she heard a hesitant voice call her name. She looked up to find the zombie boil, Edgar. It took a moment for her mind to break out of its drowsy fog and for recognition to dawn. When she did recognize the boil, her eyes widened and she bolted upright into a sitting position before spinning around to face Edgar, her previous fatigue forgotten. "You're alive! What a relief, you were the only one I wasn't able to locate, so I was worried something happened!" she said with a sigh. Upon hearing his apology, she shook her head. "You weren't the only one that took off partway through... Van did a good job hiding from enemy attacks and Touchstone... well, let's just say he went on a lunch break...", she trailed off with a slightly irksome look on her face before continuing. "You guys really know how to make a ghoul worry... but I guess it's water under the bridge." "Anyways... care to take a seat?", she asked, patting the floor beside her in invitation. Ouch. That really looked like it hurt a lot. Yvette grimaced when she heard the resounding thud that the poor wolpertinger's head made with the ground. Note to self: be careful around green monsters with vine-like tendrils.
Was that someone waving at her? Turning her head to see who it was, she smiled at the bunny boil and waved back to him as he started to make his way out of the Maul. It seemed like people were starting to disperse and just as the notion of her needing to get herself home soon started to rear its ugly head, she spotted Touchstone waving her way and decided that there was probably no harm in stopping by to see what it was that he needed her for.
"Um... something you need..?" She wasn't really sure if she should even be part of the current conversation they were having so she gave a light cough to let those present know that she was there before posing a question of her own with an impassive expression on her face.

D-d-date? What? Mathias stopped kicking to just stare at Touchstone in absolute horror, right before realizing that the ghoul he had been speaking with had been waved along to follow. " Nein! I mean, no! I mean..." He began struggling once more, and when the tentavine finally released him, he rolled away and sprung back up to his booted feet, giving the vine that had reached out to help him out a little "back off" slap with his hand and a dirty look. "Vhy should I bother vith manners vhen you do not bother vith courtesies." He finally managed, his hands balling into tight little fists at his sides. Though the marlboro did bring up an intriguing idea. Looting the destroyed and already partially ransacked maul? Well, he had already paid for a new pair of boots that were now missing, eaten, or more then likely just buried under some rubble. Unclenching a fist, he began rubbing at the back of his head, right where it had collided with the floor, and gave a quick side glance towards Yvette, though he made sure to keep the glimpse he got of her quick and indirect. Still, the sight he got of her was enough to send his cheeks flushing red all over again. It was a compliment, really. "I am in." He nodded his head, because there was no way he was about to pass up an opportunity like this when it was presented. And if he ended up with more then just a new pair of boots welllll.... They were touching her hat. They were touching her hat. A snarl spread on her lips as she reached up and shoved them both away, taking the tag out and throwing it on the ground. If they were that worried about the tag, they could have it! "DON'T TOUCH ZE HAT." She hissed, not at all perturbed that she had to speak so they'd understand just what grave mistake they'd made. She backed up from them as her eyes glared daggers, but then turned to Uru and bowed her head slightly in thanks. She wanted Hairwolf and Simply nowhere near her. She'd only been trying to help. The girl didn't know enough to know the huge taboo she committed by going near the Alp's hat. Nope, she was just trying to make it pretty. Hairwolf was given a bit of a look as he went against her judgement. "No, no! Orderl-" And then the ghoul was drawing away from them seeming rather angry with the pair. Something that only got a blank stare and a few blinks from Simply as her head cocked to one side. "Oh. It's special?" Yep, she didn't get it. Her tone was merely curious as she leaned closer, but didn't reach for it.
"Is it a family thing?" She could only think it was an heirloom from some long dead family member or something. Because why else would a article of clothing be so important? She flicked her tail back and forth, pouting a bit at the malice, but trying to offer a small smile.sammpai She's confused. neutral So confused. Also she has it right.

The boils were up to something. That much Yvette could tell at least by the look on Touchstone's face and then Mathias' verbal agreement to be a part of it, the latter's bashful behaviour whenever he was in her presence going entirely over her although she did catch a glimpse of how flushed he looked just prior to him looking away. Which the red panda ghoul simply dismissed in her mind as a case of exertion related facial flushing given the amount of fighting that had just transpired.
The question that remained in her mind was what both boils were up to and whether she should stick her nose into something that other monsters might not have intended for her to be a part of. "You're planning something, aren't you?" She gave each of them a piercing gaze, almost as if daring them to lie between their teeth and deny that something was up, her tail flicking impatiently as she waited for either of them to cough up the answer. Surely these boils would be polite enough to tell her something at least after taking the trouble of inviting her to join the little group they had here.
Seussi Yes, she is *that* oblivious but say the wrong thing and she'll add another boo boo for you to nurse so be a good boil okie? ;D Ol-j-man Lemme in all your boil talk and secrets~ xd

Vesper heaved a heavy sigh of releif as the massive creature faded away, ears and tail drooping wearily. "Man, that was some crazy fight huh? I kinda thought at first this might make shopping way way more interesting, but I hate to admit it, that was a little too interesting."
