"You didn't rape her," she said quietly, lips set in a tight line, "Believe me." Sighing, Antony paused for a moment, to gather herself before turning back to him, "That you shouldn't have done it. Express how you're sorry and s**t. She's a child Billy... A child..."

"I know," He sighed, "I know. I aint a moron." He took the pen in his changed hands, indeed relieved to find that the fused fingers with his pointers and thumbs left did hold a writing utensil normally. After a long while of thought, he worked out a letter scrawled in his messy, but still somehow legable handwriting.

Dear Princess,
I am well aware that this note changes nothing, but seeing as how I've been threatened to stay away from you, Miss Antony suggested this was my best bet. What happened the other night was a mistake. A terrible mistake. Something that happened against both of our wills. Some bad person did something to me that made me act fairly mad, and I wanted to let you know that I would never have hurt you, had I been aware of what was going on. I doubt I'll see you face to face again, and if you wonder why, feel free to ask Miss Aubrey, and I'm sure she can in detail tell you exactly why. I hope life treats you much better than it seems to have decided to treat me. And I hope, Princess, that you can forgive me.
~Prince Billy

"See," she said once he was done, "That wasn't so hard now was it." Antony didn't smile, but her eyes showed that her mood had been uplifted, even if only slightly, since he wrote the letter. It was taken from him when done, folded, and then tucked into an envelope, which she handed to him to address and lick shut. She hated how that glue tasted.

"Because I said so?" Antony replied, "That and the glue tastes bad." She gave a wry grin before she stepped by him to gather her robe.

He wasn't in the mood to be distracted by her bare skin. Constant tragedy and testical removal could do that to a man's spirit. Instead, he wrote the cheetah girl's name on the front and obediantly licked it closed befor handing it to her. "I shoul' go."

She tugged the robe on, not exactly in much of a mood anyways. Well, not that she had really been in one earlier, considering she had only been stringing him along to leave him high and dry right when got on the brink.
But no, her revenge had to be interrupted by whoever it was watching them. ******** spoil sports.
Not to mention sick bastards.
"You should," Antony replied curtly as she tied the robe closed sharper than she had intended.

He opened his mouth to say something, but thought better of it. He was used to not being liked. It happened. It happened quite often. He was certainly feeling those vibes from the squirrel lady. Ah well. He rose without another word, shirt over his arm as he let himself out, closing the door behind him.

Colche Colche sat with her legs crossed upon her bed. Her bunny was sitting happily in her lap and there was a book in her hands entitled 'grimm Fairy tales'. She and Aubrey had read a few of the strories the night she had stayed there, the night after..Well she didn't like to think about it. The bruise on her abdomen and the ones on her chest weren't looking quite so severe any more, whe swellings had gone down which only left the purplish blue hue upon what little skin was still visable. She read out loud, quite obviously telling the story to her rabbit, she thought he might like it, she had liked it alot, even the part about kissing a frog, she struggled over some of the words but following Aubreys Guidance she spelled them out two letters at a time and came out with the whole word. She had decided she definately needed to find a talking frog and kiss it to see if it was a prince. Antoinette Devereux The day after Antony and Billy had seen the recording of the attack, Antony had made it a point to go visit the cheetah girl. She wanted to check up on her as well as bring her the letter, which had been half tucked in her back pocket. Knocking on the door, she waited for a response. Hopefully she'd be home. Colche Colche's ears flickered at the knock. She paused for a moment, should she be frightened of who was at the door? It might be somone nice. her brow creased and she bit her tongue but only for a second, she was having to give up this long proclaimed habbit of nibbling her tongue when she was thinking, it hurt now.
"Who" she said simply, thinking again before finishing the simple sentence "th..ure" she smiled to herself, that sounded right, who ever was there would answer, it wouldn't be Billy,it wouldn't be Billy. Her ears flattened and ehr nose twitched, it wouldn't be Biilly. Antoinette Devereux "Antony," she answered, lazily leaning on the doorframe as she waited for the door to be opened. "I just came to see how you were and to bring you something..." Colche "Open" she smiled, when she heard Antony's voice, she liked the woman quite alot, she was nice and looked after her. Licking her lips she waited for the door to open, closing her book and placing it beside herself. her bunny stayed nestled in her lap and she watched the door waitign for it to open, she never had figured out how to lock it. Antoinette Devereux Antony let herself in, shutting the door behind her before making her way over to the pair. She gave Colche a smile before sitting down on the edge of the bed. "Are you feeling better?" Obviously she was talking about the almost rape days ago. Colche Colche smiled. She hadn't seen Antony since it happened so somone else must have told her. She nodded softly, giving a little puurr, which was her way before she hugged Antony a little, managing to do so sitting, and without dislodging her rabbit. "Aubrey say..watching" she pointed at the camera, she wasn't entirely sure how the camera worked but it obviously did. They had stopped Billy from going all the way after all. "Frightened..little..hurty..okay" she smiled ina half hearted manner, she was okay, mostly a little mroe finekky around men once again but encouragment from ehr friends had made it alot better, it wasn't her old life, she wans't shut in the dark again, she would never be in the dark again. Antoinette Devereux She hugged her back, frowning slightly at the comment about the camera. "I know... I saw it..." Antony trailed off, not really knowing how to approach the letter she had quite yet. "I saw Billy change too..." There, a wee ice breaker for now. Colche "Billy bad" she stated, her brow furrowing, her tail giving a very irritable twitch as his name was mentioned. aubrey had said about the drugs, but she didn't really understand the theory behind no drugs meant good. "Billy changed?" she tilted her head curiously, maybe he would be good now, people whom had changed had been some of the first few people she had met and they were males. Her brow furrowed a little and she nibbled ehr bottom lip, she was trying to fathom what this meant to her. Would she be able to trust billy now? She looked to Antony for advice a curious, question in ehr eyes which she couldn't QUITE put words to. Antoinette Devereux "Yeah, but not as bad without the drugs," she admitted only for Colche's sake. Reaching into her back pocket, Antony pulled out the letter and handed it to the cheetah girl. "He wanted to apologize," the tattooed woman stated, offering the girl a warm look to tell her the letter was okay. Judging by the book next to Colche, Antony figured she could read. If not, she could always read it to her. Colche Colche tilted her head at the letter. she had been given a letter before but hadn't been able to read it. She smiled at Antony and took it. her name was scrawled accross the front which she read easy enough. The envelope, at least for a moment was a problem but she soon precured the note "read together" she smiled, she knew some words would go over her head, but she was pretty sure Antony would help. Billy wanted to appologise, and Antony had just affirmed taht he wasn't bad without his drugs. She held the letter out, looking ready and able. Antoinette Devereux Antony nodded, taking the letter and reading it aloud word for word. She kept her tone as apologetic as she could, even though part of her wanted to be sarcastic. "Dear Princess, I am well aware that this note changes nothing, but seeing as how I've been threatened to stay away from you, Miss Antony suggested this was my best bet. ~Prince Billy" Sighing softly, Antony check to see how Colche took the news. Colche Colche smiled, she helped, to read the words with Antony there and she smiled when it was finished. She had understood most of it. Billy was sorry for hurting her. She looked at Antony, very thoughtful and for once quiet, her ears twitched and her brow furrowed as she let the words sink in. "Billy not hurt again" it was more of a statement than a question. The letter, even though dilivered via Antony, souunded to ehr like Billy was very sorry. She smiled up at the squirelly woman and gave a gentle puurr "Billy nice..no more drugs?" she looked questioningly at Antony this time, she needed to know that Billy was going to be good now, no more drugs, meant nomore bad, or thats how she linked it any way, she just needed to know for sure. Antoinette Devereux "If he stays off of the drugs then he's a good man, but I don't think he's allowed to come near you anyways." She sighed softly, rubbing her temples while being careful of her claws. "So no drugs equals good Billy... Drugs equals bad Billy. I'm afraid it's not simple." Colche Colche looked at Antony, everything was complicated really. Billy couldn't come near her? Aubrey had said she would make sure. Fidgeting a bit she still wasn't sure if she could trust Billy, all those old memories crept in to her mind by night though during the day she tried hard to dispel them and get on with her day to day life. The arrival of Antony was as always a welcomed thing and she beleived the letter, mostly, the little abused girl deep down still screamed of her old miserys but she wanted to forgive Billy.
With a sigh she nodded to Antony giving the squirrel girl a friendly hug, looking thoughtful she lickedher furry lips before speaking oncve again "Antony tells billy okay" shje smiled weakly, she dounbted she would ever be able to stand in a room with the man, he had braught back memories she wished to forget, but she would certainly be able to be around him without running straight away.Aubrey had said she was safe, taht she should use her claws if he attacked her again, she would do that and he would be knocked out like the last time. She knew she would never feel quite safe around the man, but it was a small island after all. Antoinette Devereux She smiled and patted her head slightly before moving to stand up, nodding at the cheetah girl. "If he tries to hurt you again, just take your knee," Antony tapped her right knee, "And hit him in the crotch with it." Again, she pointed to her crotch when she mentioned it. "Then you can run fast away," the tattooed woman gave Colche a 'you can do it' look before turning to leave. "I have to do laundry, but I wanted to give you that." Colche Colche nodded softly, smiling gently, she wanted to get back to her book any way. "byes antony" she puurrs picking up her book and looking down the page, she ha dlost ehr place so she started to read it again, telling her bunny of the frog prince. Antoinette Devereux Antony waved before opening the door and leaving to head back to her own duplex. Hopefully, Billy would stay off the hard drugs.

Jamal was vaguely pleased to see the duplexes again, being that he hadn't been in the village much since he was freed. The tiger was annoyed at all the human-like scents in the area but Jamal ignored it, pointedly deciding that -he- was in charge now and that's just how it was going to go.
"Door ain't locked, is it?" he inquired as he headed for her duplex, not sounding too tired despite carrying her the entire way and being far from his best physical shape thanks to assorted conflicts.

She slid down off of his back to rustle through her bag that he was carrying, pulling her keys out and unlocking the door. "Keep it locked after Billy," Antony explained, ushering him in and locking the door behind him before meandering towards the bathroom. Stripping her wet suit off, Antony hung the top and bottom up before grabbing a towel to dry the rest of herself off as she strolled into her bedroom.

He was surprised that the door was locked, but couldn't blame her. It reminded him that he had some 'business' to attend to as soon as he found that Billy a*****e.
As she sauntered off to the bathroom, he dug in his pocket for a regular old cigarette, lighting it before tossing his lighter on the bedside table and flopping down on the edge of the bed. The tiger refused to shut up, finding the enclosure of the duplex to be unwelcoming, but Jamal continued to ignore it, taking a long drag on the smoke to sooth his nerves, and kicked off his shoes.
