"Try to remain calm sis. I know it is fairly dark right now but we will have to try to avoid any reference to a second dagger. We have witnesses telling that the man who killed Athrun was stoped and I can explain how he decided to kill himself in a way that tried to shine a poor light on this towns past." Hiro said quietly into her ear as he hugged her comfortingly. "For now try to keep a brave face on and we will get through this together somehow."

Ayaka hugged Hiro tightly. "This is all going so wrong brother." She said trying not to cry again. "You had better stay with me, if something happens to you." She shook her head in distress. "Life would be hell." She said in a softer tone. "We'll get though this, but I don't know how the town will."

"Don't worry Ayaka. I am gonna keep you in sight of me as well. I know this can not be easy on you and I will do my best to support you through this crisis." Hiro said kissing the op of Ayaka's head as he held the hug.

"Perhaps none of the killings were done by villagers; just murderers that escaped to here and tried to place blame on you folks. I don't think none of you are capable of such things." Lucian said stretching.
"Maybe." Alyssa said meekly. "But that doesn't make sense. At all."

Hiro said nothing in response as he would perfer then visitors continue to think that this was the work of a madman but was he really mad? That look in his eyes for a moment were glazed like someone not in control of themselves like he was hypnotized.

Ayaka shook. She didn't want to think about who had, or could have done it. She just wanted them gone, it all over. "I don't see any of us being killers." She said softly looking around the room. "But everyone seems to enjoy the though of us being murders."

Kaori remained where she was hugging Ayaka as she looked at Hiro. She’d nod to him before looking at the others that made assumptions too quickly of those in the room. She was a priestess that purified the spirits and would again if the spirits were to be disturbed yet again this night because of foul words spoken. She would not allow that to happen again.

Ayaka quieted, and as she did so her body seemed to sulk. Though all of the stress of the night, and preparing for the festival Ayaka was exhausted. "How long do you think it will be until the sheriff comes?" She asked, wishing to be awake for him.

As though on Que a siren called out from over the horizon as blue and red lights could be seen as a car came into town.
"Okay sis here we go. Just stay calm and respectful. Once we handle this things can get back to normal." Hiro said as he took her hand and gently pulled her outside as the car pulled in.
The door of the car opened and a young looking man with brown hair stepped out with a badge on his jacket.
"Are you the Sakamoto family?" Was all Hiro and Ayaka would hear from the man as he looked at the two of them,

Ayaka nodded, she knew how to treat a guest, even though she had not been all that kind to those so far. "Yes," She said softly, "We are both members of the Sakamoto family. I am Ayaka, and this is my brother Hiro. My mother is out of town at the moment." Ayaka said in an even calm voice. And waited for the man to reply.

Luna heard the noises outside and got up. "There here." she said as she walked out of the room and looked outside to see Ayaka and Hiro talking to the man.

The man nodded as he took out a notebook and scribbled in it. Upon his badge you could see the letters Officer Duncan Vill etched into it.
"So what is all this about a murder? Imagine my surprise when I get called out of the dead of night to be told that there has been a murder in our sleepy little part of the world." The sheriff said as he observed the two of them.
"Would you like me to explain everything Ayaka? I know its been a hard night for you." Hiro asked his sister sympathetically.

Ayaka tried to see the man backed by the blinding light of the car. She just barely made out the name. "Please Hiro, if you could. I can add details I feel you left out, but I don't think I will be able to tell the whole thing again." Truthfully, she didn't feel she could, part of the night was a black and confusing as a hole. She had no memory of the time that had passed. Ayaka stood by her brother, and listened to him speak. She also spent the time trying to think of where the name came from that made it so familiar.

Hiro nodded as he moved closer to the sheriff. The man was unusually calm considering Hiro came up to him with a sword at his waist. The two of them exchanged words. It was hard to hear what they were saying but after a few minutes they walked past Ayaka to the front of Neko's house.
"My name is Officer Duncan Vill. I am sure eveyone here is upset but I am going to try to handle this case now. Where is the victim?" The sheriff said to everyone.
