Then it all suddenly stops. A cold chill dashes through the air, spreading like a current down every orifice. They emerge from the shadows, violently grasping onto life in this realm. It sickens them, it sickens all of them, but the thought of overtaking it settles their thoughts.
Yes, they can think. In fact, they can think clearer than before. Their minds have been opened for the first time. They take it in--the land, the air, the wind, and fantasize over the future. Yes, within only a short time, it will all be theirs. The world will plummet into total darkness.
Chaos will set this world free--free of all blemishes. The inhabitants of the realm have lingered in the light long enough. The coast will shimmer no more.
A sea of black flows relentlessly. Dozens upon dozens of tortured souls cry out into the night. A group of warriors impede their path. Why they’re gathered is of no concern. They will yield soon enough. Al it’ll take is a little forceful persuasion.
And so the demons strike.

Nina straightened suddenly, as if she'd been shocked and then frozen. Her eyes darted from side to side, scanning the area. She felt the dark energy puse around all of them. It was as if a wave of it suddenly crashed upon their shore. "We need to move out, now." She already had her moning star in hand, it's spikes were already starting to spark with her devine, electrical energy. "We don't have anymore time for discussion, they've alread atatcked. Can't you feel it?" A dumb question. She could because she was an angel... she was attuned to this sort of thing, so to speak.
Turned out she didn't have enough time to tell them to get their butts in gear eithe. Soon the demons swarmed. Grimacing she darted forward, swinging her chained mace at the closest beast to her. It crackled with static, fuled by her annoyance. They should have prepared sooner. Using her wind abilities she gave herself a burst of speed, swinging almost wildly at th monsters before her. She hoped the others would at quickly.

Raigon sensed the demons coming and said "EVERYONE COVER YOUR EARS!" Raigon opened his mouth and orbs of light started to go into his mouth as the energy gathered the ground started to vibrate and shake. Then with a massive howl that shook the area more and a massive beam of energy shot out of his mouth laying devistation to everything infront of him utterly destroying hundreds of demons. Cearing way so that he could run into the middle of all the demons with his staff in hand he would definatley be a tank in this. "Come you foul creatures ill show you how to return home!." Raigon said this with a deadly voice and started to launch lethal daggers at all the demons around him. Raigon started to dodge and block as the demons came at him.

Gabrielle was on her foot in no time. She strangely knew that the attackers were not the twins and yet, the power coming out of the demons was far stronger than the usual demon raised by Lord Tokushi.
She took both her blades in hands. "We lost precious time..." she whispered as she faced the first opponents swirling towards the group. Despite the important number of Knights gathered on the coast, they looked pitiful in front of the crowd aiming at them. Earth, Air, Water, creatures from all elements were crawling, flying, swimming at them. She grimed. Fighting was not a problem for her, she just had to pay attention to her limits.
The Holy Knight watched around to be sure that the young Nina was safe, but the younger knight was already fighting. Gabrielle smiled and gave a nod to Dimitri. For the first time they would fight next to one another.

It took days for warriors of such different backgrounds to get together. It took hours for them to try and agree on teams and strategy. It took minutes for warriors of the undead chaos to storm the shores and begin their mass extermination of the living warriors of order. It only took seconds for the bottle of Kutiel to explode off. The cork of Rashnu’s bottle shot off with such force at one of the undead foes, that it sounded like a small howitzer. The projectile went through the throat of the demon that was trying to attack the azure teen from the side. Rashnu did not flinch or bat an eye at the sneak attack a few seconds ago. His eyes did not shift from anxiety or fear either from the next three demons approaching his form. His determination and adamant personality was stiff as ice.
Three more demonic beasts leaped at the boy only to be met with a wave of water. It crashed into the three like a fire hose turned on full force. This managed to push the three to the side off somewhere else out of the boy’s way. As his ocean shield took care of the three vile ones, it blinded his sight for an second. Within that second another fiend was at him. A bone like spear poised to pierce the child’s heart. Not fast enough though. With just a slight movement water erupted in front of the boy slightly solidifying to ice. This prevented the beast from finishing his attack or retreating. Another solid stream as if shot from a fire hose blasts the beast directly in the skull. The water engulfed the creature, but did not kill it. Only enough force to make sure it would suffer from retardation for the rest of its life. That beast could still be used in the fight. With the sound of combat from the rest of his allies, one being a ferocious roar that made a small crack in the boy's shield of ice, Rashnu would join the battle.
A wave of water surfaced under the teen and moved him along the land. His eyes darted around back and forth searching for another victim. No words needed to be said. It was clear. Any demon that got in Rashnu’s way was going to perish.

Jon saw the rush coming and leapt into the shadows to hide as best he could with his bow. There were so many of them. Was it really possible for them to so desire some sort of fight. Jon took his time drawing a long arrow along his bow and focusing. It would take more than one shot for each but he could possibly take a few out. It was then that he felt it. A cold dead sensation running down his spine. Jon's eyes grew wide as he soon realized his mistake. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." The cruel hissing voice rose from be hind as he felt the sensation of a razor like claw being pressed against his back. What were his options? There were a few options but the sharp piercing feeling against his back made him rethink the possibilities. Jon lowered his bow for a second just in time to get his hand near his hunting knife. Before he heard a single serpentine word more he had the knife in hand swinging towards whatever was behind him at the same time though he felt the claw warmly slicing into his back flesh. It wasn't that the feeling was knew to Jon, in fact the scars on his body told quite the opposite, it was just that it was never a feeling he liked. He felt his arm pass through nothing as the creature before him swiped forward with another deadly. Jon found himself barely moving out of its way yet at the same time none of his attacks seemed to make it through. Soon the rest o the world started to fade as he and the demon found themselves in the trees committed to a dance of death. Jon wasn't into it though as his mind was having trouble focusing while the constant worry about his wife lunged forward in his mind. She would be safe right? Was it a she or was she now considered a they? Either way there was a distinct fear in he back of his mid that something might happen.

Moving backwards, ANlu managed to find herself a spare bow and a quiver full of arrow. Lucky her someone brought extra supplies.. otherwise she'd be a sitting duck. Squinting her eyes, she tried to make her vision even the tiniest bit clearer. Pulling the shaft of the arrow back so the nock was touching the string snuggly, she pointed the arrow in the area Jon was in, trying to follow the different colored blurs zipping poast in the trees. She knew which was Jon, now to use her excellent sense of hearing to hit her target. Practicing with him and Mori had really helped her out.
Relaxing her grip, she let the arrows fly, one after the other. She wouldn't stop until the grunts and squeals of her victims were quieted, and Jon's rustling above had stopped. If he kept moving, she would keep firing... just to make sure she got them. Hearing a growl behind her all of a sudden, he last arrow went awry, striking a tree as she turned.
Thwack!
A clawed paw to her gut forced her backward into a tree. A loud crack could be heard as her head snapped back gaining a goose egg, and several bleeding scratches on her right temple. This din;t include the hot pain she now felt in her ribs... it wa sstarting to get hard to breathe.

{This doesn't seem to have progressed very far, so I'll be jumping in~}
Taking notice to the demons rushing towards the camp, the Dawn captain raised an eyebrow. Though there were many more of the demons than there were knights, but she didn't think that fighting them off would be much of a challenge. Glancing back to make sure that Loki was in position to guard Mori, she then shifts her gaze to the bandit beside her. "No need to fret, my little bandit friend. I'll protect you." she grins, winking at her companion. Twirling to face the onslaught of demons, the Dawn Captain draws her sword, slicing one of the front lines in half in the process. "Why don't you go keep an eye on the greener ones? I can handle the front lines." with a small smile, the captain lunges forward into the fray, hacking almost wildly. It was a reckless move, though the woman seemed confident in her abilities. Her armor would take most of the beating, as it protected her in all the most open places, leaving only spaces that could be hit with a well-aimed shot. Such was not likely, as the armor was still light enough as to not restrain her speed. Her sword sheath landed heavily on the grass, showing she did not intend to slow down in the least.

Jon misstepped as a blind arrow nearly struck him throwing him off balance while another plunged itself into a demonic claw. Jon soon found himself falling slightly headed towards the earth. Luckily with an outstretched arm he gripped the tree limb he had previously been perched upon. There was a slight jerk in his shoulder but it remained firmly in its socket. Jon didn't have time to think about it though because there was a demon launching from a branch towards him.
A slight grunt rose from Jon's throat as the demons head met his stomach and sent both of them hurtling to the ground. Contact. The air in his lunges flew from him leaving him stunned on the ground with an aching back. It took him a couple of seconds but Jon was soon back on his feet. He reached down and picked up his hunting knife. "That all you got." He moved one foot forward with the toe pointed towards his target. His back foot shifted in the ground as an anchor. His dagger was held low with the point pointed to the foot of the target. His non weapon arm was held back leaving a large portion of his chest unprotected, "Come on lets dance ugly."
The demon came forward that certain devilish rage in his eyes with his vicious claws raised. Jon waited for a second or two before shifting his weight to the left just in time to only suffer from mild cuts across the chest. The demon was not so fortunate as Jon spun out of the way with the grace of a cat his knife rose into the belly of the beast and ripped upward causing him to fall. Jon let out a breath ignoring any pain he felt. Turning to face the battle with only his bow in hand he started to launch numerous volleys, "Alright who's next."

Anl scrunched up sightly against the tree she was backed up against. The demon stepped slowly closer, a rabid grin on it's face. Her quiver was out of reach, so there was no chance of her firing a shot at the beast. Damn it... Gritting her teeth, she placed a hand behind herself, into her belt and shifted upwards. The demon jumped at her and with a sickening crunch, pinned her to the tree.
The girl winced in pain as blood dripped to her feet. The beasts fangs were an inch from her throat, where it froze... it's breaths becomming more labored and it's grip tighter on her shoulders. With a frustrated groan, she dragged her dagger upwards from where it hadbeen imbedded, right below the ribs. With a choking snarl, the creature fell to it's knees and twisted to the side, making it's final resting place the dirt benieth it's feet.
Sucking in a deep breath, she jumped over the warm corpse, grabbing her quiver and taking a position at Jon's back. Just because her vision was blurred didn't mean she couldn't look out for him. With him, she joined in sending volleys at the horde of intruders. "Having fun, Jon?"

Gabrielle was weary before the fight had even really started. She was holding her katanas with no real motivation or passion. But motivated or not, she had to defend her life and those of the other knights.
Instinctively, she found herself keeping close to Nina. Not that she did not trust the young one to be able to fight, but she wondered if she had ever fought that many enemies before.
Motherhood instincts in the middle of a fight?! Maybe I should retire... she bitterly thought to herself.
This is when a huge flying critter decided to toy with Gabrielle. "Wrong enemy." hissed Gabrielle as she used the winds to make a high jump. The creature had expected a land opponent and it hesitated a second which cost him much, for Gabrielle somersault in mid-air to land on the monster. "That could be fun to ride..." she said with a totally joyless voice as she jabbed the monster at the base of its neck, sectioning its cervical.
"Timber!" she shouted for the knights fighting underneath her as the dead creature dove towards the ground.

Nina was happy to fight alongside Gabrielle. It made the girl feel like she had the skill to be worth fighting with when she had someone next to her. Keeping a watchful eye, for beasts and Gabrielle, Nina lamost tired to up her game... another word for it would be "showing off." For some reason she thought she had to impress people, and what better place than a battle firled? She knew to be careful though... after all, she'd never been in a battle this tough before. There were so many enemies... It was a wonder where they all came from.
She almsot watched painfully as the flying beats attacked Gabrielle and then was mounted and killed. She still had issues with flying.
As the beats drove dowward, the girl used her manipulation of the wind to ease it's fall... she was worried it migth crash into allies... of Gabrielle might fall off. Though, Nina figured, Gabrielle was more experience than she... perhaps it would have been fine without the psudo-angel's help?
AFter the creature crashed into the ground, Nina made quick work of some of the surrounding monsters, using her morning star and lightning manipulation to electricute some and stab and mutilate others. She hoped she was doing well in the eyes of others.

Gabrielle had landed gracefully enough close to the young knight. She had felt with surprise as the monster on top of which she was, was slowing down. She had noticed that Nina was looking in her direction for a second. The young one was putting all her energy in the fights. A brief smile came to Gabrielle's face.
Her voice raised above the noise of the fighting and she spoke to Nina. "Do not waste your energy." she said. Her amber eyes were glowing a little. "You are fighting as if the fight was going to last minutes." The older knight stopped her lecturing to slash her katana in the air, resulting in invisible air arrows flying at high speed towards a taurus like creature which was charging her. The arrows hit the eyes, piercing them in a disagreeable noise. Gabrielle looked back at Nina. "Our fight will last days...weeks... Your energy is your life, so treasure it."
Gabrielle was quite surprised herself to be speaking like that at the young knight. She meant well and she hoped that her icy tone would not be misinterpreted. A new wave of monsters was flying their way and Gabrielle sighed. Energy was more than her life, if she were to lose it, she would surely turn and that she would not allow.

Nina tried to relax a bit, seeing what Gabrielle meant, but confused, too. "Then how do you reserve your energy to fight for days, but still hold the power and strength to kill all the enemies that come your way?" She drew in shallow breaths as her eyes darted around, statci crackling off of the ball of her morning star. More waves were approaching. She'd be more ffective if she could get in the air but... shuddering at the thought... she knew she couldn't. Not now.
Setting her left foot forward, she lowered her self into a fighting stance, swinging the chained mace in one hand, listening to the snap and buzz of the electricity flowing through her. Then she jumped forward, smashing her weapon into the skulls of thos eless fortunate. She hoped this particular battle would be over soon.

“Use techniques that require little energy and maximize their usefulness in battle. Kill every enemy you can with only one technique.” Rashnu breathed out to the violet eyed girl. Energy conservation and regulation was not a problem for the ice skinned teen. His body even contained an amount of energy greater than most. Yet he may be the one most in trouble. The teen’s body constantly drains energy and in this situation Rashnu has to keep using power to maintain his shielding skin. Depending on how long the battle went for meant it would be problematic in the future. Lowering his ice blue veil was not an option. Nor was using any other attacks aside from the water in large bottle on his back. For now the boy was more than willing to continue his fight. Even though his own enemies had pushed him towards Nina, Rashnu began to walk back where his foes were.
Well one major foe. The others were not worth that much time, but combined they could become problematic. As Rashnu’s water froze quickly making his face return to its unblemished glassy look he wondered just how much more he’d have to go to kill this creature. The teen had told Nina to make sure to make a one hit kill, but before him was on that was enduring. The beast was ogre like with skin as blue as Rashnu’s. It was not as shiny as the human boy though. Instead the monster’s skin had darker swirls. Its body remained in white clothing with black sun symbols on it. Purple arm guards remained on its forearms and one guard to protect its neck. The demon was soaked in water with different parts of his body beginning to show signs of ice formulating. In one hand it held some type of dual butcher knife, ready to try and cleave the water loving boy into pieces. The only reason he was not butchered to nothing like a piece of meat was because of his water.
The beast had four horns on its head and a lower jaw of teeth. Nothing else could be discerned because there was nothing left. Within its face lay a massive gash as if a sledge hammer had taken off most of its face. Blood and flesh frozen to the side of what was left of the skull. At the back of its head was a smaller hole. All of this was done by Rashnu, but the beast refused to stop. The master of Kutiel believed the creature called itself Fuu something. Nothing else could be considered because the water manipulator crushed its skull as much as was possible at the time. It was not enough, but luckily Rashnu was always prepared for another step. Within the river that followed closely behind the silent youth lay five demons. All drowned or froze to death within the icy water. “Come…. and die.” the green eyed boy stated boldly. The demon did not hesitate. Their battle would continue.
