Soneko nearly burst out laughing. What kind of pansy would sit there and act like a lonely child after just being attacked. Any sensible person would be on the defense. Clearly this man was not as cut out as he claimed to be. What a shame. Soneko would have loved to have a challenge instead of wiping the floor with some idiot. Nonetheless, he hadn't killed in quite some time and was beginning to get itchy. His left arm burned fiercely, but he wouldn't allow it to act of it's own accord. Killing women always reminded him of when he woke up, his hand through the girl's chest. He could never bring himself to kill another woman after that. Even if he had to deal with the pain, he wouldn't allow it.
"I think it's a bit past that, Light-boy."
Another voice popped into Soneko's head. A girl's voice
'You use light, too, Soneko.'
'Not now, Pinkzu!'

The Jedi was up now, walking away. He was too tired for a fight - and though he could instantly revive himself with just a quick boost of the Force through his body... he felt like an old man, one too sick and too tired of fighting and war. Wars do not make one great - they just left you in bed at night screaming as you woke up in cold sweat from reliving one horror after another.
Even a Jedi, in all they're vaunted power, could not ease themselves from seeing death.
"I'm just too tired of fighting and pain," And for once, Valin sounded like something he had dared not show. He was neither angry, nor Jedi-like, nor lecturing. He was just human, as simple as that.
He made his way out, walking in a calm pace as if nothing was happening. If the man wanted to attack, so be it. However, there was the clear click of his lightsabers returning to his belt.

Soneko stared in awe. Did somebody just walk out on a fight? But...But fighting is such a thrill! Why would anyone...Oh well. He figured he should probably get back to the village. A dark purple fog swept through, enveloped Soneko, and dissapeared, leaving no trace that he had ever been there, other than the hole in the wall. He would talk to Deity about it next time he got a chance. Maybe even repair it himself. But not tonight.

Valin felt there would be no fighting, no pursuit. It lifted his spirits knowing that battles could be avoided, that everything didn't have to be settled with violence and chaos. He smiled some as he threw up the hood of his cloak and stepped through the doors of Orion, thinking that everything he was trying to do was not all for naught and there could be peace in the galaxy if you tried hard enough.
Hope. There was hope. And hope was the ultimate weapon of the Jedi.

((Nor was I! I liked that I still know the lyrics... Except for the part in Animaniacs where they always change it, depending on the episode. They just came out on DVD, too. I think it may be a Christmas List item. Lol.))
