Disaster Movie, got it. Thanks Colin! I'm sure Jason would be wanting to see this movie, as all movies, and I'll warn him it's not good. smile

Aww, see, I wanted to see this. But as with most movies, I'll wait till it comes out on DVD and add it to Netflix.

It was pretty god awful overall. The only time that you could really laugh throughout the entire film was at 2 outtakes during the end credits. Overall, it's not worth wasting bandwidth over.
Death Race was pretty fun though. Not as predictable as I would have thought, had a few neat twists thoughout and had good acting and effects.
So any thoughts on Twilight?

I've read it, and am looking forward to the movie. I have no delusions that it's going to be as good as, or better than the book, but I am really interested in seeing what they do with the characters and story.

Oh yeah, I came up with a shirt in anticipation of the movie, and I wanted color recommendations. As a note, the text of the shirt will be a metallic of some sort, so please keep that in mind. The shirt reads:
"My Vampires Sparkle"
Thoughts? Recommendations?

Oh, that is SUCH a cool idea! I say do it on basic black--I think the sparkly text will look best.
I do have to say that I think the guy playing Edward is ugly--or, the make-up made him ugly.

Has anyone heard of the HBO series True Blood, starring Ana Paquin (Rogue from XMen)? It's the first serious tv show I've gotten into, and it's about vampires. It's getting me in the mood to read Twilight too.
Colin your t-shirt idea sounds great! Were you thinking silver metallic, or something else?

fawN, that sounds like a cool show, it's too bad I don't have HBO--I guess I'll have to rent it when it's on DVD.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't realize I messed up the font size!

EternalHearts fawN, that sounds like a cool show, it's too bad I don't have HBO--I guess I'll have to rent it when it's on DVD. *expands your text because it's miniscule pixels on this screen and I have to copy and paste it elsewhere to read it! Maybe you meant it that way!*
A warning on True Blood tv series is that it has lots of adult content and nudity, which surprised me. Had I walked into the basement at the wrong moment and seen him watching that I would have been MAAADDD! razz

Hey Ghostie, I just saw that you posted here. How were they? I havent' seen a movie in the theater since Julie and Julia, although I do want to go see The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasus. I'm either going to take myself tomorrow for my birthday, or go with Ellie before class on Thursday since she's not working.

Loved all 3. The hangover was funny in a "guy thing" kinda way. Like stupid funny instead of real funny...lol.
