Blue hues connected with those of a vivid gold, a sense of excitement and eagerness for more apparent in her own gaze. Something stirred within her very core, something foreign. A sense of pride and excitement, enjoyment with satisfaction in her own actions. ... Such an odd disturbance continued to grow as she listened to his words, accompanied by a soft smile and an unusual tone on his part. Those same blue hues would soften at his words as the corners of her mouth tugged into a soft smile. ".. Thank you... I certainly gave it my all." Her blood was pumping, heart racing, with an unusual sense of emotions welling up inside. Beneath her light makeup, one could even see the faintest trace of rosy hues on her cheeks. Perhaps it was due to the overexertion from the dance, the need to impress and lead... Or the complexity of emotions she couldn't quite fathom, aside from a sense of flattery. Now was no time to stop, however. They were just getting started. After such a display, the two of them continued to dance despite her warped perspective of the world vanishing. As reality crept in once again, she was certain that she could feel more eyes on her than normal. Often times, her wings brought her more attention than desired. This time, however, it seemed that they were beginning to draw in a crowd mixed with the dancing skills of Garret. Their gazes would break as they both took in the broken crowd that was watching them, having her attention brought back by the words of the man himself preparing their declaration. "I agree. Only those foolish would dare oppose us." His infectious arrogance returned, causing Yui's own splash of ignorance in return. Hands would fall listlessly to her side as the man stepped away, drawing the crimson one from his back as he announced who they were. Lancer and Dove, the only ones certain to win the contest.

It was clear that Garret was determined to call all eyes upon them in a display with his spears, twirling one of crimson while keeping the other mounted on his back. For a moment, Yui could feel her own passion trying to ignite into a blazing inferno for she too wanted to put on such a display. It could have been as simple as causing a new dance of embers to replicate the spear he was wielding, a display of two warriors... The united power of two noble houses. However, she found herself refraining from such a desire. For at this moment, the two of them were allies rather than enemies and needed to trust in one another. She wouldn't dare take his moment away from him, however, she did intend to display her own flourish when the time was appropriate. As he intended, countless pairs of eyes would fall on the two of them. Yui could practically feel the spotlight radiating on them as the two of them became the epicenter of attention. Blue hues would not divert, however. Letting attention distract her would be a sign of weakness, so instead, she kept her focus fixed on Garret's golden gaze as he returned to her. Falling perfectly into motion, her hand rose naturally to lace her fingers with his own as her left rested on his shoulder. With his softened words of confidence, reality would begin to slip away once more as the world dissolved to the barren desert in her mind. "I grant you the lead, Lancer." Her tone was calm, with a clear sense of confidence that she didn't often display. Garret had worked her to this point, and she was ready to see it through to the end. In her mental world, she began to focus on the music she once tried to dull out, listening for a rhythm to follow. Without another word, he would begin to follow his lead as their dance begun anew. It began so simple, so slow, a method that she had already mastered within a night. It was their three-step routine, following his every step in unison while never taking her eyes from him. The movements became instinctual with his own, a natural reaction. She took a step back, step in place, and a step forward. Releasing her ground to him over and over, only to reclaim it as her own. Faster and faster, their pace would pick up radically. For a moment, it seemed as if Garret himself was hesitant and restrained himself for her own ability to keep up. Such an action would not be necessary as her steps adapted in real time to match his own speed, allowing their steps to blend together in unison weaving back and forth.

In the midst of their sequence, she felt his hands begin to tighten around her own as near silent words were spoken. A heads-up, a warning, before the pace of her steps slowed immensely. It was last minute, but adaptation was one of the skills she relied on most and would not miss this step. Such a change felt as if they almost came to a standstill, before switching seamlessly into the next step of their dance. Her hand would follow the lead of his own as he raised it over her head, a signal to spin just as they had practiced on. Wings tucked tightly to her back, her weight would shift to her toes as she pushed herself into a spin. Fingers clinging to his so loosely, she would spin in place three times. A fluid action, enchanted with the elegance of her white wings tucked away so firmly before spreading only slightly as they stopped. While it was a display, she wouldn't throw the same emphasis of her full wingspan quite yet... Instead, the wings would flow elegantly as they spread and closed with each sequence as her feathers danced against the motions. Their hands would softly graze against her hair, though a break wouldn't come so easily. As his hand raised above her once again, she would commit to spinning once again. In the midst of her first spin, she felt a touch that was out of sequence, a guidance... Something that she would follow, as she left him to lead. A hand that moved them closer, his free acting as a guide to keep her on track as she finished her third spin while moving with him. Her wings remained tucked away firmly, not letting so much as a feather dare graze him. She would feel that same hand push against her waist, ushering her to continue spinning in place. Though her world was spinning curious gaze would try to follow his figure, noticing as he began to move around her. Just as she managed to surprise him with the twists she provided in their practice, he seemed to pull out his own stunts to keep her on her toes. It was an impressive display that caused her to wonder: what else did he have in store for her? Her body would come to a stop as she felt their hands glide down her hair and against her neck, finishing the sixth spin in her set. Their gazes would connect once more with Yui fighting a smirk that tugged the corner of her lips, a simple acknowledgment for his display before nodding in unison with him. A silent indication that they were in the final stretch, she was certain... It was time to pull out all the stops. With their hands held high once more, her body would begin to spin. Though wings were tucked firmly against her frame, blue sparks would begin to ignite around her after the first spin. The second spin, they grew more erratic and volatile as small blue bursts began erupting from her. Then, with the third and final spin, her body would come to a stop as his arm draped around her neck. In a perfect sequence, her wings would release a powerful flap as they pushed away from her body. With this gust of wind, her semblance would finally ignite in its full glory as a burst of azure flames erupted around the two. However, rather than damaging them and those around them, the flames would dissolve into stunning embers that floated so delicately around them like flower petals or falling leaves before fading to nothing.

It was that final burst, that final exertion that really pushed her to her limit. She found herself panting softly as her hands gently clenched his shoulders, using him as a small means of support. Though despite the sense of exhaustion finally settling in after such a taxing dance, her lips clearly formed a most pleased smile. Pale blue hues would glance around for a moment, noticing an entire crowd's gaze upon them before looking back up at Garret himself. "I.. Believe we've left our mark... A most prominent display of two noble houses.." These were all emotions that were so foreign to her. While she used to adrenaline from combat, never before had she experienced such excitement and contentment in her own actions. While the dance was intense, it was actually far more enjoyable than she could've ever imagined. A sense of letting go, of having fun... Of freedom. It was all so liberating to her. With wings spread wide, she'd let her blue hues pan the crowd once again. This time, to just capture the expressions of the audience that had formed. In the distance, she could even see familiar faces such as Oswald and Sakura, even Kail. Did they possibly see the performance as well? ... Well, clearly not Kial, but... Perhaps Yui could explain it all to her later so that she wouldn't miss a thing. "You certainly know how to keep a dove on her toes... I commend your skill, Garret. Though next time, I intend to take the lead." Blue hues would dart back up to Garret once more, surely to display a mix of arrogance and confidence. It was only because he kept changing the steps on her and pushing her to new bounds that she could develop and refine, turning their display into one most brilliant It showed that she still had so much to learn, from him and those around her... Today, they learned how to cooperate with one another and their patterns. A dwindling desire for combat was reignited through the fiery passion of dance, causing her to look forward to their inevitable spar all the more.

She knew that it always had been, but she lived it. She didn't want her barcode, every attempt to remove had been for naught. She and Felix had to live with what was done to them. The aura from her back would radiate a deep blue around her. Her life was nothing but a joke to the man that saved her. He would then get to her true name, the one that she hated. She would wait patiently for him to regain himself. When he finally seemed calm enough, he would firmly tell her no. She felt a cringe in her spine. He only used that tone with her a few times in their time together. He still didn't think he was involved. He remembered her at least. It didn't seem to be for the right reasons. He would then run off, saying that he couldn't. She would follow him.

Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]

Charlotte Offered lunia a quick smile before flicking her eyes back to her scroll. Though she did softly say towards lunia. ”Thats fine. I'll just take pictures and record it Lunia.” Her eyes flickered to the floor before slowly raising her scroll into the air. Mostly to get a better angle to see everyone as she hit the Record She had no clue why it was a record and not a picture but it was good enough. Her right hand was mostly trying to stop anyone bumping into her… And occasionally grabbing a roll of food to eat.

She romped around the room a little. Recording everything she could see. Before she hit stop and then tilted her head over to the right. She seemed a little confused for a second or two before she shrugged. ”Yay.. Another blackout…” Was her quick mutter Even if her scroll ahd a loading section as it tried to send the video to someone. Slowly due to bad connection but sending nevertheless. Charlotte shrugged as she dumped her scroll back into her little pouch before twirling her umbrella in her hands. A slight look of nervousness flickering over her features. Even as she tried to move back towards her teams location. Her body instinctively tightened as her red eyes drifted across Aaron, Zylah and felix Though she forced herself to relax again as she approached the dance floor to … watch the couples on it. Mostly just lunia and Jazz though.

Azura Knight

Azura could feel herself flushing already, though they hadn't yet begun moving. Cecil was turning out to be quite the romantic in a most unexpected, yet most pleasant way. "I would like nothing more." She told him somewhat breathlessly as she gently placed her hand on his shoulder once more. Then they started to move, Cecil gently guiding her along with the lightest of pressures on the back of her shoulder and her hand. The night surrounded them, making for an entirely more intimate and romantic setting than the hall. Oh it had been beautifully decorated, but with it's din of several people talking at once and full of warm bodies, Azura much preferred the relative quiet of the garden. She would be perfectly happy to spend the rest of the night here.

Cecil continued to walk and guide her with each step of the dance as they slowly turned with each step. Cecil's heart rate was skyrocketing from the feelings this dance was sharing with the two of them. The sounds of the crickets, the light wind, and dark blue lighting of the moon, it all fit this moment as he stared her in the eyes, slowly taking a firm step and dipping her back once more. "Azura..." He whispered, leaning closer to her as his eyes slowly closed, going for a subtle kiss as he kept her low.

Azura Knight

Oh. This was it! Her first kiss! A thousand different thoughts flooded her as Cecil closed his eyes and brought his face towards hers. Should she close her eyes too? What if she did and they missed? Would it be weirder to keep her eyes open? Should she leave her hand on his shoulder or use it to touch his face? One thought replacing another faster than she could keep up, though she did end up closing her eyes. Then their lips touched all those thoughts vanished in an instant, along with the knowledge on how to breathe, though it seemed like her heart might hammer its way out of her chest.

Cecil kept his eyes closed as he leaned further until finally, he felt her lips against his own. He enjoyed the moment as he held her a bit closer, pressing his lips against hers as in his mind, the moment was just perfect. His heart rate continued to get higher and higher as his stomach felt full of butterflies. A second passed, then another... and another, and another before he slowly began to pull away. He slowly opened his eyes to look down at her with a smile before he whispered the words, the words he could ONLY say at this moment. "I love you Azura...."

out. of. commission.Dress I realise I need to make a post format for Prism... Meaning I need to find a picture for Prism.

XXXRed indicators would cease their bright and vivid light, returning to a passive blue as Allistar actually seemed to accept its offer. Truly, it was an interesting outcome that brought Prism right to Allistar and asked him to a dance. Anything that Prism could do to keep the boy out of trouble and reduce the chance of tarnishing the name of Team MVSK more so than it already has been. Maria already had enough issues with the constant change of teammates as well as the return of two troublemakers in her life. ".. I'd simply consider it a spur of the moment. My presence was clearly unwanted by Miss Kendal and an individual I'm assuming is Feralis. Or, in your terms. Aunt Kitkat and Uncle Bow wow. I must say, despite such mischievous antics, your nicknames do prove humorous when the time calls for it." Though Prism was dismissing the boy's suspicions, he saw right through the robots facade. Following closely behind Allistar, the two of them would find themselves in a more isolated part of the dance floor. It was away from the center of attention. While eyes did follow the presence of a robot, they were pulled away by a marvelous display of blue flames and wings from one of the participating dancers. Prism was used to drawing attention to itself and Maria, never bothered as its presence seemed to call for it. The face of the machine would rotate, shifting its focus to Allistar who bowed before it then offered a hand. It was certainly an oddity, but the boy had proven time and time again that he was far from normal. Blue indicators flashed briefly before Prism bowed itself, then taking his offered hand. "Lead the way, Sir Allistar." Prism was once always one for formalities, though such a preference seemed to fade in the presence of a team that constantly thrived to twist its circuits. As Allistar began to lead, the boy might find himself rather surprised by Prism's own smooth movements within the simple steps of the waltz. While it was nothing remarkable, it was a sign that Prism was designed to have more fluid movements similar to that of a human rather than a clunky machine. Maria had yet to display any of Prism's combat capabilities to her team, as none of the members were present during the weapons class when they got to see Prism put on a brilliant display as it ripped the combat bots to shrapnel. Each word that the boy spoke was filed away in its memory, processing the question over and over as its mechanical form was dipped. Upon standing, blue indicators would dull at the boys words. "I am unsure if I'm in a position to give an opinion about humans and faunus alike. ... If it pleases you, however. I will try. In my years active, humanity itself has proven to be a complex concept, something that humans and faunus alike share. They indeed are bogged down by their own negative mindsets, preventing them from accomplishing tasks that are within their grasp. Lady Maria is, unfortunately, one of those individuals. Though. While there is truth in your words, I believe it is that mixture of their emotions and morality that segway towards development and innovation."

In the midst of their conversation, their dance had shifted to one of a bit more complexity, though simple all the same. It was fortunate that Prism was designed for more precise movements, or else the weight of its foot could've crushed Allistar's own with a simple misstep. "The matter of me 'derailing you' is a mere function in my programming. My model is designed with an adaptive AI that is meant to learn in real time and apply previous experiences accordingly towards new situations. Much akin to the human mind developing, learning. That function, in unison with the instruction to serve and protect Lady Maria. ... To ensure she enjoys her night and prevents any dangers that may come to her person or social standing." Prism attempted to keep an explanation of simple system functions brief, though the boy did raise some interesting questions. The robot specifically was designed with an adaptive AI to learn and respond accordingly, which in turn had been changing how it responded as a whole with the introduction of new characters to learn from. "Perhaps you are onto something, Sir Allistar. Creators want to continue the advancement of robotics and AI. If learning has been granted as a possibility for me, the chance of adapting to reactionary emotion is a probability. With every step, the line between man and machine grows thinner in terms of operation. However..." The two would separate, Prism's motions following Allistar's own in distance as it kept its hand in his. Upon return, Prism's indicators would flash red at the embrace of him. Of all the questions, this was one that Prism would shut down without hesitation. "Perhaps if they were programmed to do so. I, however, am not programmed with such capability. That is one difference between man and machine. I apologize to disappoint you, Sir Allistar."

Unfortunately, Prism was none-the-wiser to whatever trap Allistar had been luring the robot into. The robot was set on its intentions, to keep Allistar distracted and hopefully happy in order to keep peace at the ball for Maria's sake. In terms of firing mechanisms, the only ones that were present were within Prism's palms themselves that were capable of releasing burst fire at short range. Within its forearms and calves, there were chambers that housed blades that were attached to Prism's frame with the capability of extending. However, if the complex circuitry could be somehow seen or sensed, it would show that there were multiple ways to release these weapons. The first, of course, being from Prism's own control. The other was from a wireless receptor that often overrode Prism as a whole which picked up the motions of Maria's gloves, letting her effectively control him whenever she saw fit. "That is a question I was once asked fairly often, though my answer never changed. Prior to coming to Beacon, Lady Maria was quite a social creature with myself. However, since coming to Beacon and meeting Miss Kendall in particular, such interactions have stopped. That is fine, of course, as Maria's own happiness comes as my top priority, only second to her wellbeing as a whole itself." It seemed that since coming to Beacon, Maria had grown more distasteful of her companion as the days went by. It wasn't something that necessarily came as a surprise to the robot, knowing the history of the girl through and through. Prism was also aware that it hadn't been treating Maria in the same manner as it once had. "While appreciative of your question, my .. 'wellbeing' is nothing to be concerned with. So long as I'm fulfilling my purpose, then all is well." Perhaps an answer that would be disappointing, it was the truth. Prism wasn't designed to worry about its own wellbeing aside from basic functionality in order to keep serving Maria. The robot's head would pivot in order to look towards Maria and the two faunus, detecting the simplified gestures as Maria appeared to try and communicate with them. ... For a moment, Prism was interpreting those movements as something to be concerned for, but it was truly nothing. "Now that we have a moment to ourselves, how are you doing, Sir Allistar? I also wonder, where is that feathered companion we often see you with?"

Henryk had enjoyed his dancing this far with Chloris. She was a good teacher, and having her as a partner to learn from helped him out a great deal. Plus it was just fun to move and to dance, so even though Henryk was forced to focus more than he was normally accustomed to and despite it taking a bit of time to learn, he was still enjoying the process and just dancing in general. Fumbles, mistakes, and all. He wondered how good her foot movement must be if she had been learning to do this since she first began to walk. 'Even in my time in the circus I don't think I was able to learn something like this so early on.' He thought to himself. While he was flamboyant, loved improvisation and theatrics, it did not mean he learned things instantly or quickly. All his skills took years to develop, even if it seemed so carefree now. And even if he was the last person you'd expect that kind of dedication from. Her complimenting him doing well though was admittedly helping his enjoyment and self confidence. Sure, he could jest about himself all day long if he liked, but praise always felt nice as well as doing well.

Seeing Chloris' sincere smile as she said he had made it enjoyable as a leader and friend, he smiled happily in return. His entire goal for the evening was to make sure his team enjoyed it, and glancing briefly to the other half of their team before back to Chloris, he knew he had succeeded so far. Which was, in his mind, a good start for his role as the team leader. But he was also glad he wasn't what he viewed as a typical battle leader. 'Who needs to be boring, grouchy and strict when you can just be nice and enjoy your team?' Was his line of thought in that manner. His image of leaders was admittedly negatively viewed for the more militant type due to his life in circus, finding the confines of that far too restrictive. In the circus, everyone worked together well because they liked and respected one another. But mostly liked. They could leave at any point, but chose to stay because they were all one big family. Which was something he hoped to make this team for all of them, himself included. It also helped himself with his own thoughts of his traveling circus, wondering how they were doing and how their acts were going. He almost wished he was there now but...with his team, he liked it here. And it no longer felt so strong to return as soon as possible. He wanted this part of his life to last for as long as he could make it.

Henryk was drawn from his thoughts as he noticed Chloris shake her head, before seeing her look up to him meekly. 'Huh, why did she sudden shift mood?' He wondered to himself. Did he do something wrong while he was lost in thought? He sincerely hoped he didn't. There goes his luck, brag about all he had succeeded in so far only for it to backfire because of it. He was in slight turmoil in his mind, trying to think of what he did and how to fix it...before blinking a few times as he heard a meek request from her. His eyes would lock onto hers as he had a confused expression for a moment, still trying to sort the chaos of his mind, before his face brightened. Looking to check in on the other two, and seeing them safe, then at the entrance to where everyone else was partying...his gaze would slowly return to Chloris. "Huh, a starry moonlit walk? Sure, I don't see why not. Its not the craziest thing i've done tonight afterall." Henryk would smile kindly to her and begin to walk off into the night with her. He would pause briefly, before adding something. "Its the least I can do for my teammate and friend. Plus it should be fun, the sky here isn't as clear nor are the stars the same as where i'm from, so it'll be nice to see a new night sky as we walk. I've always liked the twinkle of stars too." Henryk said in a happy yet oddly calm voice. Having the rare capacity to not always be a bundle of fireworks at times. He would walk calmly with Chloris throughout the rest of the evening, pointing to random parts of the sky and claiming grandiose images from the stars as well as just talking with her. While walking with her, he always stayed relatively near her. Both for her safety and his own, and for anything she would say she would have his full attention (thankfully due to not much occurring when just out for a walk). And, if she were willing, he'd have spontaneous games of hide and seek or tag spread throughout.

Jentel would nod in affirmation. The lights were starting to dim, competitions and the lack had gone underway. Songs and performances mixed but for now Feng's was the loudest, not because it was in a respect loudest but due to it being the beats and strums of someone of whom he considered a friend as unorthodox as she was. Advancing to the waltz where the pace increased. These brief moments in where they were separated but still hand in hand. It would not be Daenerys who would make the mistakes but Jentel. An accidental loss of his grip would send Daenerys to fall in a manner from a stumble but before she'd hit the ground Jentel would respond by quickly reacting to catch her. Like two lovers near ready to bed Jentel would keep the closing of tonight short...sweet...and sudden. "I do hope you can pardon my clumsiness Madame Daenerys...and do so hope you can pardon me for this as well." Without hesitation or in a moments notice the feelings of that night would reach a boiling point. Jentel would then thusly make his move to lock his feminine lips with hers. To silence all the sounds, to stop time once again, for in their current positions Daenery's would only be able to look up and see the soft featured man reflect off the lights of the ceiling and nobody else..and he would see nothing but his angel of the sea. The curtain closing hopefully with two lovers eyes closed to relish in the moment, with both none the wiser of the secrets they each held. ~conclusion post

Yup. Exactly, somethin' else hilarious. You're a smart cookie, if I do say so muh'self. And I do say so muh'self." he said. with a grin. Adam could tell her irritated tone was a fake one. Ridley just being Ridley. Adam knew that that frown wouldn't last for too long so he waited for it to break. 3...2...1 and there it was. The smirk that Adam couldn't help but like to see. Even if it meant something was up her sleeves. She went into small detail about her size and how it's advantageous for her. Small, but fierce she described it. "Huh. Yeah I guess so. You're kinda like a Honeybadger in a way. Your color scheme matches the name and the adamant 'never back down attitude'... yup. Def' and Honeybadger." he laughed. He shook his head playfully at her wink. Got something in ya eye there, Ms. Thing?" he joked. After his moment of questioning himself she had a question of her own. "Huh? Werewolf? Please, I WISH I could turn into that. When dogs scratch behind their head with their foot it looks like the best scratch in the world. I bet if it feels-man I just wish." he said chuckling. He was serious. "Plus, how do you know I'm not already a mythical creature and I just erase your memories everytime you discover my secret? Or question me about it?" he said raising his eyebrow. "Clued you in, but surprises are the best!" he said joyously. Imagine. A supernatural Adam... terrifying." he huffed with a smile. "No one Adam should have all that power." he followed up.

Once again, Adam didn't realize how close he was to her. ANd this time he wasn't going to catch it. His breathing was even and he was calm. His heart wanted to pound furiously, but it wouldn't. He was more like a gentle storm. He closed his eyes as he just enjoyed himself and really took in the night. In his head he imagined the scenery. How everyone took the time out to enjoy themselves. The entire mood of the ball was just so relaxing. And amazing. He opened his eyes again to see his date. The most stunning thing he saw all night. He chuckled internally at his captain. Usually so brave and bold, but a shy to dance. She did exactly as he asked and followed his lead. He admits that he would be a nervous mess if he hadn't looked up and researched how to dance himself. He practiced privately for two weeks. Even stopped combat training for this. He even went as far as to ask Cecil to teach him and he still feels weird about the... hands-on teaching he had to receive.

    ~FLASHBACK~

"Adam, I can't help you polish your slow dancing for the ball if you're 10 feet away." Cecil said in his usual tone. From across the room Adam shouted, "Man, I don't know you like that! Touching me on the back like that and whatnot. Better take me to dinner first or somethin'!"

    ~END FLASHBACK~

He shook his head at the memory burying the fact he had to actually go through with it. In the end...it was worth it. To impress Ridley. Even if he didn't know why he found it so important. She quickly started to catch on. Like he knew she would. "I'm positive there's nothin' you can do to make me hate y- what about pineapples?" he asked stopping his sentence dead. There goes that smirk again. "Woman don't you even think about it." he stared at her through slitted eyes with a small grin. "You know me and that evil fruit done had some words." he reminded. After giving her the two options, he could honestly say he was rooting for the second one. Just wanting to be closer to her. She stuck her tongue out at him like a child. He snickered at her behavior because of his teasing. Nah. I'd never do that to you. If I ever do something to hurt you mentally or physically kill me. Because that's not me in my body." he said. "For real." he solidified. "Ridley Delmhorst I only have your well-being in mind." he said honestly.

He shook his head at his own ignorance. "A'ight. That makes more sense. 'belle' with an 'e' sound waaay better." he laughed. He heard her breath catch and thought something was wrong until she spoke. "You're welcome, Ms. Thing." he responded. He was trying to look her in the eye, but she couldn't seem to hold it. Maybe the lighting up top was in her eye and looking up hurt her. She eventually looked back up at him with that smirk. "Uh-oh." he said aloud. He was thinking about her question. Really mulling over it. Taking as much time as necessary. "Better than caramel? Better... than caramel? Better caramel than?" he pondered. He knew the answer himself, but he wouldn't give her the satisfaction considering all the teasing about pineapple. I guess... you're neck and neck. I can't say one better than the other." he said returning her smirk.

He was thankful for that distraction. All of a sudden he realized all the compliments and stares and thoughts he's been having and it caused his heart to jumpstart again. But with that it slowed. She wriggled her hand out of his and he thought he did something wrong. Just before he could miss the feeling of it she was about to place it on his other shoulder before booping his nose. He made sure he retained eye contact maintaining his steel composure against her silly action. Don't laugh, Adam. She'll win... she won. He let out a small laugh and took a breath following. "See there you go again. Making me out to be more important than I am." he smiled. "I appreciate the compliment..." he said fighting his face heating up, "but you stole the show tonight. I can honestly say that no could hold a candle to you. I'm forever lucky you agreed to be my date. Even if it was through Cecil's influence." he grinned. Adam couldn't have wished for a better night. This was perfect and he wouldn't trade it for anything. He continued to dance with Ridley until the event was over or until they both grew tired.

Having 'felt up prism' Allister's eyes began to fluctuate around the room, albeit rather difficult to tell with how they were shaped. As the miraculous display of a performance unwound around him rather than be enamored he was rather...displeased. Nobody would see now...perhaps he could? Tch. In this moment in time the show and dance was coming to its conclusion. People were getting in their final acts. Prism had unfortunately succeeded. Upstaging someone when there was hardly any time left for others to marvel was a pointless venture. Still tonight wouldn't be all for naught. He'd discovered much about prism but more so his interest in it increased all the more so. "Not programmed you say? Yet you've the capability to learn? Whom is to say you can't learn to change that programming?" Allister would let go of the robot and look at maria and two whom seemed to be enjoying catching up with one another. As the lights began to dim Allister would perform a heel turn with flourish of the cape to look opposite of Prism he'd then go on to say something...complex. "Soon there will come a day lady prism. Where you will no longer have a purpose. When that day comes, will you continue to exist, or will you do what you're programmed to do then and simply throw yourself away? When it comes to that choice, if you pick the second. You and I. We've got a lot in common..keke. Crunch those numbers and do get back to me when you have the time...ah but before I die, after all beings like you aren't constrained by such things like mortality."~closing post

'Well this is awkward' Eira thought as things proceeded along to the beat of Koryn's drum. Even with the white haired girl trying carefully to restrain the excitable butterfly and then to pull her off of Richard. Though admittedly less by force than by trying to secure her attention to the explanation that what she was doing wasn't aligned to normal time and place standards. Koryn did eventually release the poor guy from his awkward predicament but not until tightening the squeeze of her hug. Hopefully he doesn't have a weak constitution to being close to the opposite gender. When Koryn released her victim she stopped before doing the same to Sasselia to listen to what Eira had to tell her. Afterwards she gave a cheerful commitment to actually ask Richard next time if it was ok to hug him.

Unsurprisingly she then asked how she knew if she was close enough to someone to hug them. Eira couldn't help by giggle softly when the other girl expressed and showed more than a small amount of confusion on the matter. "That would only be physical closeness, and yes, Koryn, you were very close to him indeed." Eira responded but then stopped before actually explaining anything as Koryn was talking over her. The butterfly girl had realized she had been given all her attention to Richard and Eira. She flitted over to Sasselia to right that immediately. It was rather intriguing to watch her float across the floor over to their team leader before she started to talk to her. Eira gave Richard a once over to make sure he wasn't shell shocked or horribly traumatized by everything that had happened to him out of the blue. She smiled at him and merrily said, "Bet this is more than you signed up for when you decided to escort our leader back to us."

Eira then returned her focus to Koryn who was at least asking Sassy first if they were close enough to hug or if she should shake her hand. Eira moved over to stand beside her before she continued to explain hugs and when to use them. "Physical proximity like what you had with Richard would be a more literal sense of the meaning of the word, but incorrect in this case. Generally what is meant by being close with someone in this case refers to being emotionally close. To have a relationship with them that is of some significance. Hugs aren't usually given to strangers or acquaintances but to close friends, family, or lovers." Eira explained quickly before adding on. "However, that is just the rule of thumb to serve as a guide line. Some people don't like hugs, others do. So you can always ask. Myself, I really don't mind getting hugs."

Remus glanced down at Ella as they walked. In the shade he couldn't see her face was covered with a soft pink hue. There was also just enough of a din between the ball and the bubbling of moving water under the bridge to mask her rapid breathing. Location was keeping her nerves hidden to her luck. When he picked out a place for them to sit down Ella responded by declaring it a perfect spot. He watched her sit herself down with her legs hanging from the bridge. Before she took her shoes off she scooted over towards one of the rail posts along the bridge and patted her hand in the vacant spot beside her. Remus took the offer and swung his body into the opening and got settled on the edge of the bridge. The moment Ella had her shoes of she put her feet into the water and let out a sigh that sounded like relief. 'I wonder if her heels were making her feet hurt. The plague of fancy dress shoes is sore feet after all.' He though as he watched her legs sway to and fro as she slowly kicked her feet in the water. The pattern the stirring made in the form of ripples upon the surface was interesting to watch during the period of silence. Especially in watching the vibrantly colored leaves dance across the surface as the slight disturbances of each ripple made them move about and spin in place.

The pair watched the colorful aquatic dance for a time before Ella brought up the expected subject. She didn't look up when she told him she had been meaning to ask him something. Remus looked over to her. "I figured that might be the case. So what is it you would like to ask?" He comment back softly. There was a time of silence during which Remus looked back to check on the others. They had stopped their dance now and seemed to be wandering off to do something else. He wondered what it might be but decided it was better to leave them to their own affairs. When Ella had gathered her thoughts she started to explain about her dependency on fighting with water. Though she seemed concern about it's sustainability and her ability with her fall back way of fighting. She gave him a hopeful look and ended with mentioning a desire to be able to protect everyone. She mentioned the girl the had been assigned to a makeshift team with her a short while back which brought back the recent memory and the way Ella had been so down for a time afterwards. Remus seemed to think about it for a split second before he replied. "Well the first step to protecting others is to be able to protect yourself. I don't want any of you guys to get hurt either so of course I will help you. Anything that improves one of us improves all of us."

                                                  *Wrap up post for Remus*

    Rҽιƙƙα Cҽɾυʅҽαɳ : Team CHAE
    Dress, Shoes

Reikka had finished her desserts and was decidedly swaying to the music when she suddenly felt that something was off. It was too calm, too normal. Then she turned around to find Narx gone. He was just there a moment ago when she left her team members chatting to dance by her lonesome. She might aswell do the things she wanted to do before this Ball was over. But the disappearance of Danae's date gave her a feeling of a bad omen. That raised the alarm.

... Where on Earth did he go?

She turned around to find both Asger, Maru and Auburn still talking to his sister Danae and enjoying their meal, eating. She immediately stopped what she was doing and went back to the table where she asked the trio of where the man had gone, "Has anyone seen Danae's date? I saw him at the punch bowl last." She figured she would let them know in case something ill-fated happened to the guy. She cursed herself for not telling Asger or Danae about what she noticed sooner.
