  Trogan hadn't been too impressed when Lyssandra had taken him aside and requested that maybe she might spend a few hours with her son... They'd stopped to eat inside the great hall where the man had told him all of what had happened, not only after he'd been stolen away, but from then onwards... Tala had listened quietly, but his politeness could only stretch so far and he almost welcomed Lyssandra's entrance into the Hall... "I guess I could let you have a turn..." Trogan muttered, "I seem to be boring the boy anyway." He couldn't help but notice as Tala had started pushing what they'd been given to dine upon, around his plate... "Splendid!" Lyssandra beamed, striding over to Tala's end of the table and reaching out to take her son's hand... Tala saw this coming and quickly rose to his feet, keeping the chair between them as the fork he'd been holding clattered to the floor... "Ah...right..." The Queen paused, "Take it slowly..." nodding she extended her hand, "Come, let's walk...?" She turned to leave, casting a glance at Trogan who met his son's eyes and nodded for him to follow... Tala remained reluctant, but followed the woman as she approached the door, walking a few paces behind her until she slowed down enough to walk beside him...

(lets see what I can do to get this going again sweatdrop tried to create avi of her standing in the area of training but was hard to find right background >_< ) In the training area Rosa closed her eyes sighing and looked over the book she'd been given, it mentioned focusing and having a clear mind so one could focus better and to have better control over ones power. This read easy enough to do but she wasn't sure she'd be able to do it. Shaking her head she tried to keep it clear so better to have ability to not hurt herself or others. Okay...focus Rosa. You need to focus and have a clear mind. Focus, focus. She thought, trying to clear her mind. Setting the book down she stood still, slowly lifting her hands to delicately place them on either side of the pendent at the end of her necklace. Taking slow breaths she closed her eyes, focusing, trying to get it to work, not sure it was going to work. As she focused a small light began to glow, slowly appearing to hover just out from her necklace. Slowly her powers of kindness and love for others was starting to take form in the showing of pure soft light. She was trying hard to keep her mind calm and clear, feeling a soft warmth from between her hands where the light orb hovered, slowly growing a bit bigger as she kept focused, the soft light was now slowly starting to move around her hands, giving a white outline to them as she kept focused. A few guards had stopped to stare and watch this, wondering how this was going and what she was doing, wondering what she was up to. They saw this and began to wonder if she was a new mage or sage in training that joined the castle. Seeing her in common clothing made them wonder if she was just another newbie learning under one of the mage's or wizards there at the castle.

 Tala kept his distance at first, but eventually, the queen seemed to slow her pace enough that he had no choice but to walk alongside her... "I'm still finding it hard to believe..." she watched him as they walked, picking out familiar features from the boy the more she regarded him. "So...how are you feeling?"Tala glanced at her, baffled - what kind of question was that? he averted his eyes, scanning the halls as they turned down another corridor before finally giving her an answer. "I'm fine.""That's good..." that wasn't a good question to start with, she'd have to rethink her conversation... "You spent your entire life in Sune...?""Hn..." Why was she asking him all these questions? Perhaps he would have been better staying with Trogan? "You'll have to excuse me, Talanask...I'm no good at small talk...I'm excited about your return, but I don't know how to be around you...Perhaps there is something you would like to do?" she paused, glancing out of the window before looking back at the male who by now had come to a stop. "Where is Rosa?" the girl suddenly sprung into his mind, without Caran to advise or urge him to do anything, and of course the strange and uncomfortable location, she seemed to be a good option... "She's having a little alone time... but you seemed to be enjoying yourself outside earlier..." Lyssandra felt a little annoyed that the boy wanted to head right back to his associate rather than spend time with her... "How about we go outside instead? The day is quite lovely..."Tala wasn't sure, he met the woman's eyes, scrutinizing her face, then breathed a sigh...perhaps Rosa needed some time away from him...but still... "Come on," Lyssandra brushed her hand down his arm, drawing it back as the male shied away, but using the motion to urge him towards the exit, "Give me a chance."

As Rosa focused her power slowly grew to a softer then brighter light. Guards stared in awe of her power, seeing her hair start to move about with a soft wind coming from so much power being focused in one spot. Focus....focus.....keep mind clear... She thought to herself, trying to keep her focus. As more power grew and gathered the more warmth she felt, keeping a good hold on it that was until her mind flickered with her nightmare, images of the twisted grin of the man, sight of her blood caused her to gasp and lose hold.
Her eyes snapped open going white and the floor under her cracked a little when her power snapped free of her control, the orb she had formed in front of her necklace shot forwards, slamming outside of the training area, flying outside where it exploded in a bright show of light before leaving smoke to rise where it had struck the ground outside.
Guards and others there had backed up from her, not sure how to stop her as she wrapped her arms around herself slowly, tears starting to fall as her mind began to fill more with her nightmare and fear for her mother's life, her thoughts coming up with what she thought the Demon King might be doing to her in torturing. This fear and wild thoughts caused her power that had formed under her to shoot out at random, knocking back a few guards with minor injury while causing slight damage to the area structure when striking it and exploding in shows of light.
It didn't help her when one guard charged her, mad she had hit his friend, thinking she was doing this intentionally and had his sword drawn when he charged her. Looking over she couldn't tell if he was friend or foe when she retaliated screaming and a blast of light shot from her into his chest, throwing the man back into the wall with a hard thud.

They had barely taken a step outside the building when an explosion racked the garden and Tala spun round to face it. Nature kicking in, he started towards the rising smoke, ignoring Lyssandra as she called out to him to "Come back!" it wasn't safe... Hearing Rosa cry out, he climbed nimbly to where she was, drawing back momentarily as a ray of energy threatened to cast him aside before clambering in through the smoke and rubble. "Rosa!" He started towards the female, throwing a concerned guard out of the way before wrapping his arms tightly around her as he reached her side...

Upon hearing her name it was distant but was there and the voice, that voice she knew it. Tala? When she felt arms wrap around her she almost lashed out with her power till she recognized scent and quickly her arms reached out wrapping around Tala in return, holding onto him tightly. Rosa buried her face into his shoulder, holding onto him, her body shaking and slowly her powers came to a close, the white light of her powers calming down to fade away as all became quiet.
The guards there came out of where some had hidden, peeking out and staring in shock at seeing that the prince had calmed the woman they now felt stronger was a demon in disguise. After a bit she would slowly move her head to look at Tala, sniffling as she could feel her tears falling from her eyes and the worry in her eyes showed that it hadn't gone to plan. "I'm sorry....I don't know what happened. I was focusing, I did exactly as the book said. I had a clear mind but....then...." she trailed off, looking down again and buried her face again into him, not wanting him to let go.
Peeking out though she did see the damage she'd caused and this made her heart feel heavy in seeing what she had done when trying to summon her powers that could defeat the Demon King.

In some control, Tala found himself able to manage holding her tight, but as she embraced him back, he would flinch some before fighting the response to retreat away. He opened his mouth to attempt some form of sympathetic reply, but the sound of the queen exclaiming her shock at the damage before the booming sound of King Trogan's voice rattled the walls around them. "What is the meaning of this!?" the man was clearly unimpressed at being disturbed from his meal - what with his wife bursting into the great hall announcing with horror that there had been an explosion and that their recently rediscovered son had headed straight towards it... Tala felt the man's imposing figure stand over him, then felt a rough hand take his wrist and pull him away from the girl, "Have this woman removed from my castle immediately!""Trogan!" Lyssandra called out, shocked at his sudden decision, "It was clearly an accident! Please reconsider...!" Her words fell by the wayside as guards advanced from all angles, "Let go of me!" Tala snarled, trying to pull his wrist free of the King's grip, "Leave her alone!""She is a danger to you and my people!" Clearly something had the man scared deeply, a memory perhaps? "Remove her immediately and return my son to his room!" Trogan thrust Tala towards the guards who enveloped him before dragging the struggling male away, he tried to call out for Rosa, but his shouts were muffled... "Trogan!" Lyssandra rushed over to her husband, still trying to convince him to change his mind, but he stood firm and unmoving as both were removed from the room...

Rosa looked up and gasped, reaching out to try and grab Tala as he was pulled away from her. "Tala! Please I didn't mean to harm or break anything!" Rosa cried to the king, feeling it fell on deft ears. As the guards advanced and grabbed her she screamed and struggled, trying to get free and tried to move towards Tala but was dragged out of the room and out of the castle.
Once thrown out she screamed hitting the ground and the mighty gates slammed shut tightly behind her. Rosa turned quickly standing and slammed her fists into the doors of the gate. "Please! Let me back in!" she shouted, hitting her fists into the door, worried about Tala and what they might do to him since he had hugged her. "Please! Please don't hurt Tala!" she shouted, not sure if anyone heard her anyways on the other side of the gate.
"Tala.....I'm so sorry." she whispered resting her head against the gate, trying to think of how to get inside to make sure he was okay and wasn't in too much trouble due to her losing control for the short time before he helped bring her back to her senses.

 Tala was panicked, but extremely angered by what had happened; the guards maintained their grip regardless of his struggles before eventually releasing him through the doors of his oversized bedroom. Free of their grip he threw himself at the door hearing a gasp outside from one of the guards as the frame buckled against his strength... He tried again, but bounced off as it seemed both guards had placed themselves against the wood to prevent him breaking out... Letting out a somewhat audible growl, Tala made his way over to the window, reaching for the latch only to find it had been locked... Was he a prisoner now?! He spun round and glanced with some agitation around the room, there was no other visible place of exit and he couldn't tell what had happened to Rosa... Seeing no other option, he threw his fist at the window, watching as it splintered around his wrist before drawing his arm back and proceeding to use a lamp to knock out the rest of the glass. "Not so fast lad!" The sound of breaking glass had alerted the guards who rushed in and proceeded to try and get him away from the window... Throwing the lamp at the men, Tala moved closer to the window, his vision not catching upon a third figure before he was struck by the swiftest of actions. Jack Marshall waved off the guards and caught the male as Tala dropped to his knees, what had happened? He suddenly felt so weak...so...tired. "Forgive me, my liege..." the man breathed a sigh, lifting the Prince into his arms before leaving the room, "Get that window fixed, I'm taking his highness somewhere...more adequate." He left the guards and carried Tala up the corridor.

Rosa felt sadness filling her but hearing a noise she looked back towards the Inn and saw three men wrestling with a beast. It was then she remembered Meta. Racing quickly over she shooed the men away and stroked the Horzun's nose. "There it's okay Meta, don't worry. But...we need to find a way to get to Tala." She said softly to the beast.
Meta watched her and nuzzled her before snorting, understanding and looked the way she had come, eying the wall over. The Horzun could see the would be easy for him to get over and to accomplish entering but locating Tala....he would need to figure out the best plan for that one when it came time. He lowered down and Rosa mounted the Horzun who then stood and began to walk down an alleyway, going to pick a discreet location to bust in through.
He knew he could get in but it was avoiding capture and men was the problem he wanted to avoid, knowing he could fight back but even a Horzun would have his limits and weaknesses. He didn't even know if the people inside the large structure would know his weakness or not but didn't want to find out if avoidable. When he found a good spot hidden he would pause before dashing at the stone wall, Rosa lowering down against the mighty beast as it slammed its legs into the stone first, using the momentum and strength it had to break a hole into the wall. Once in it took off quickly with her to avoid being seen and found by guards, proceeding to try and find Tala with Rosa holding on tightly, also hoping they could find Tala.

Tala awoke as though from a deep slumber, he sat up with a groan to find himself curled in what appeared to be a nest of cushions... His vision was somewhat blurry, but quickly focussed when a dark shape blocked his vision. He gave a yelp as someone reached out for him, but he was told to hush before recognising the face of the man who had brought him into the castle in the first place. "Take it easy, your highness..." Jack drew back, sitting down a little away from the male to give him his space, "You are safe, there is no need to fight.""Where is Rosa!?" He found his voice quickly and snarled at the man, "And what prison is this!?"Jack's face initially looked grave at the mention of the girl, he had seen her thrown outside the gates and felt bad about the incident, but with some understanding... The King hadn't outlawed magic, but to witness what destruction he had, must have brought back grim memories of the past and caused his uproar... "This is no prison, you are in my chambers, away from the King and his guard...for now.""I demand you let me leave at once!" Tala rose to his feet, wobbling slightly before gaining his strength. Jack stood as well, but kept his distance, "You are free to leave...but you would probably be better remaining here for now...let your father settle down a little before doing anything rash...""He is Not my Father, This is Not my home! And I am Not your Highness!" Tala moved to storm past, but was knocked back down onto the cushions by Jack who merely extended an arm and applied a little force. "Listen to me Lad," Jack's face lost all emotion, "I'm afraid by coming here with your lady-friend, you've opened a chest which you cannot close. My only suggestion is to calm yourself and take things a step at a time...I understand you are not happy here, but acting the way you are will only make things worse for you..."Tala sat up again, glaring at the man before breathing a sigh and averting his eyes... He just hoped Rosa was okay...

Rosa held onto Meta's reins racing quickly through the halls after they had busted into the castle at a side wall. Rosa looked around and to Meta who sniffed at the air and looked around, its ears twitching, listening before trotting then racing off in a direction, hoping the tracking was right. Tala....please be okay. She thought as they raced, Meta on Tala's trail.
Outside guards were trying to figure out what made a hole in the wall then others found the hole in the castle wall. An alarm was sounded the guards on alert and looking for an intruder. Rosa heard the alarm and gasped, leaning down. "Hurry Meta, we need to find Tala." She said quickly to the Horzun who picked up speed, racing, darting and sliding down around corners as it made it's way quickly with heavy sounding steps towards where it was picking up Tala's scent in the air, its sensitive ears picking up wisps of Tala's voice as it also used that to track it's rider's friend.

Jack had stood there for a moment or two after that silence, then he turned and crossed the room, taking a seat off to the side infront of an eisel before picking up a pallette and brush. Tala remained where he sat for a moment, perhaps mulling over the man's words before snapping to his feet as the bells began to ring signalling an intruder in the castle... "Calm yourself lad..." holding up a hand to halt the male, Jack set down his artistic equipment before rising to his feet and approaching the door... Twisting the handle he peered outside the door - his intention to glance up the corridor for a guard to ask why the bells were ringing, but reality forcing him to retreat as he spotted the frame of a large, black beast... "Keep back from the door, lad," drawing his sword, Jack extended his left arm to shield the male as he prepared to protect the Prince. He could clearly hear the beast's hooves getting closer now and narrowed his eyes... "I shall fight for you to my last breath if I have to..."Tala couldn't understand why the man was acting as such, but the sound drew nearer and he found himself reaching for his own weapons...

Meta ran hard and fast, seeing the man look out and dart in. He got Tala's scent from the door and ran faster. Quickly and hard the beast slammed into the door, shattering it and brought forth, seeing the weapon it whined, rearing back and made its mane and tail sharp ready to fight to protect Rosa, his eyes narrowed on Jack.
Rosa looked over and smiled sighing seeing Tala she got off Meta quickly and tried to move to the side to get around Jack to get to Tala, Meta still ready to fight, his eyes narrowed on Jack, snorting and a low rumble of a growl coming from its throat. It stepped slowly closer but stayed ready to fight, moving so to protect Rosa, not trusting Jack as he didn't know him.
"Tala! Tala are you alright?" Rosa asked quickly worry for his well being showed as she moved not sure Jack would let her near him or not, seeing his sword so wasn't sure she'd be allowed to get close to Tala.

Both males stiffened as the door shattered inwards, Jack stood his ground, his eyes focussed on the HellBeast as it reared up before him. He was of an older age, but his awareness of his surroundings was still at its best and he was a little thrown off when Rosa jumped from the creature's back... Tala spotted Rosa and rushed forward to stop the man from any attack he might make... Jack had already sheathed his weapon and held his hands high so the Horzun could see he was unarmed... "Milady! Don't you realise how much of an upset you have caused by riding that beast in here?" He was wary of the creature, but having seen the female in control of it, he was more respectful than challenging... "Quickly, you must hide somewhere, else the guards toss you in the dungeon..." he looked to Tala who nodded without question and advanced, gripping Rosa firmly - yet not to harm - by the arm and leading her aside. "You had better skedaddle beastie." Jack looked back at the Horzun, "I daren't think what they would do if they caught you as well..." His eyes glanced back as Tala guided Rosa to the closet through which she would find a hidden passageway, then he drew his blade again as Tala turned back to face him... "Take your place lad, they're coming..."
